28. Chapter Twenty Eight

CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT

B enedikt ate me out savagely in front of a dying Juan Carlos. All I could do was scream his name as my orgasm hit me, then he dragged me in front of Juan Carlos, and bent me over. I felt like a sexy fucking goddess as he slid inside of me.

“My malen'kiy angel, look into that piece of shit’s eyes, and tell him who this pussy belongs to,” Benedikt rasped in my ear.

“It’s yours, Benedikt,” I moaned as I stared directly at Juan Carlos.

If he thought raping me was going to stop me from enjoying a man who treasured me, then he thought wrong. The Academy taught me that if someone treated me like a princess, I should cherish that.

Juan Carlos bled like a stuck pig as Benedikt pounded me harder. Each time he hit my cervix felt like he was erasing Juan Carlos’ touch from my body. I screamed my pleasure, as I found my orgasm from Benedikt rubbing my clit.

“Going to impregnate you, if it’s the last fucking thing I do,” Benedikt groaned out while he came inside of me.

I giggled as I watched the light leave Juan Carlos’ eyes .

Benedikt smacked me on the ass and then helped me get dressed. We left the warehouse, hand in hand, as the men rushed in to clean up the mess we left behind. I felt so much lighter now that my family was no longer an issue.

“You need to rest, my love. I’m going to have to have a ton of meetings after what just went down,” Benedikt said, as we headed up the stairs.

“I can rest when we get to the Petrov grounds, and in the car, can I not?”

He nodded, and then we packed small essential bags.

“The men will get everything else.” He grabbed my bag and swung it on his shoulder, before reaching for my hand.

We left and headed back to the Petrov lands. I dozed off in the car, while Benedikt caught up on family news. He was so remote that he hadn’t been checking in too much with his Pakhan, until now.

He might be in trouble, but he didn’t seem to be taking it seriously. When we reached the mansion, it seemed like a lot was going on. Men were running all over the grounds.

Benedikt and I walked inside and weren’t greeted by the normal servants. That was strange.

“I’m going to head to the Pakhan’s office. Why don’t you see if Tiffany is around? I’ll drop the bags off at our room on the way,” Benedikt said distractedly, before giving me a peck on the lips.

He dashed off before I could say anything in response. I let out a little sigh, but ultimately headed out back to see if I could find Tiffany.

“Tiff? Are you out here?” I called when I reached the main entrance.

Her garden had grown even bigger since the last time I’d seen it.

“Back here,” I heard her far away voice call.

I wandered into the garden, following the sounds of women chatting and laughing. Deep in the back, there was a small party happening.

Tiffany wobbled to her feet. “Oh good, you’re here. We can get started now.”

Confused, I took a seat. I noticed Valentina was there, holding the phone with Sloane on video. No one said anything about why she was there.

“Alright, ladies. Since Isadora is finally here, we can start planning for Zarya Academy to open,” Tiffany addressed us.

“So soon?” Valentina said.

I noticed she was holding her phone tilted Tiffany’s way, and it became apparent that Sloane was tuning in virtually, once she opened her mouth.

“It makes sense. We need to do some beta phases of the school, and work out the kinks.”

Tiffany nodded. “Right, and Sloane is already taking care of the funding. We just need the men’s approval, which they are deliberating on right now.”

“Do you think we are going to get it?” I raised my hand like I was in class, then lowered it quickly, feeling foolish.

“Of course we will,” Sloane answered. “Our men like sex.”

Tiffany laughed. “Let’s be real, if Alexie were against it, you would agree with him.”

Sloane mumbled something, and Tiffany’s cheeks tinted. I wondered what that was about, but it wasn’t important. The meeting dragged on with ideas on how we could keep the school diverse, but not inclusive. We didn’t want kids getting in that weren’t mafia, or tied to an organization.

That was a good way to get caught.

I tuned out mostly. Valentina moved closer to sit next to me, and Tiffany sat in front of me.

“So, I hear you had your first kill,” she breathed.

I nodded.

“How do you feel about it? ”

I shrugged. “Numb, I guess.”

“That’s normal,” she soothed. “Do you think you would like to do it again?”

I grinned, because if it was someone who harmed the family, hell yes. I nodded my answer.

“I think you would make an excellent teacher,” Tiffany commented.

Shocked, my mouth dropped open. “Why?”

“Because I think you want to face your trauma head-on to heal, however, due to how you lived at The Academy, you don’t know much else,” she stated. It was blunt as fuck.

“I have the memories, but they feel like someone else’s life,” I murmured.

“I know how much Benedikt likes to stay remote, and he would make for a good candidate for Headmaster, if we wanted to give him that position,” Tiffany murmured, like she was speaking to herself.

This was the Pakhan’s wife. She would allocate whatever job she saw fit to her army. We were to say thank you and keep going.

“Benedikt is old,” Sloane said from the phone.

I bristled, but Tiffany laid a hand on mine.

“She didn’t mean that as an offense. We all grow old, just like me and Sloane.” Her kind tone didn’t match the manic glaze in her eyes.

I nodded, agreeing anyway, because it was better than getting killed by her. Tiffany clapped in glee.

“Now, I wanted to have us all here, but Kaida was to report back to Makari, so she’s going to miss the fun,” Tiffany crowed.

“What’s with them anyway?” I asked, a cry interrupting the conversation.

“I’ll call you guys back, it’s time to feed the twins.” Sloane hung up and Valentina set the phone down.

I gasped. “I didn’t know she had twins. ”

Tiffany nodded. “Thank goodness too. It’s the last set of kids she will be able to have.”

Valentina chimed in, “Isn’t she upset about it?”

Tiffany laughed, “Oh heavens no. She hasn’t felt up to having more babies. Not after this last pregnancy.”

“What about you?” I dared to ask.

“What about you?” Tiffany shot back.

I spluttered, “W-what? I’m not pregnant.” Before I could say anything else, I thought about it. It wasn’t outside the realm of possibility.

Benedikt never wore condoms. I knew Issak took my blood to get an STD panel, and he probably ran a pregnancy test as well, which would be good. There’s no way I got knocked up. If I was, it would be with anyone else, just not Juan fucking Carlos.

I’d throw myself down a set of stairs first.

“Oh, honey,” Valentina murmured. “You aren’t even sure, are you?”

Tiffany whipped out her phone. “Let’s find out,” she said conspiratorially.

She dialed and threw it on speaker phone.

“Issak Petrov at your service, my lady.”

Tiffany giggled. “I need to know all the test results for Isadora. Your Pakhan is impatient with these things, you understand, don’t you?”

Issak breathed out. “Well, why isn’t he calling me instead?”

“Are you questioning your leader?” Tiffany purred.

“N-no,” Issak stuttered. “I was just pointing out that it was weird, Tiff. That’s all.”

“The results?” Her voice turned chilly.

“Yeah, no worries. I’m sorry, Tiff. I meant nothing by it, I swear.”

We could hear muffled screaming in the background .

“Issak?” Tiffany purred, warm again. “Are you playing doctor?”

He chuckled. “My patient isn’t being cooperative this time.”

Tiffany threw back her head and laughed. It took her a minute to get herself under control. Issak cleared his throat, and we could hear papers rustling in the background.

“Here it is. She’s negative on her STD panel, and positive for pregnancy. Her HCG levels are high, so I’m going to estimate that she’s been pregnant for a while, but I won’t know for sure until I do an ultrasound.”

“Excellent. I’ll let the Pakhan know,” Tiffany chirped, before hanging up the phone without a goodbye.

I looked at her and Valentina, gulping down the nausea that I was feeling.

“Surprise?” Valentina said.

Oh, fuck. I wasn’t sure if this was a good thing or a bad thing. All I knew was that I was going to have to tell Benedikt. I wasn’t sure he would react well, but surely he would, since all he seemed to talk about was putting a baby in me.

Right?
