Chapter 63 #2
“Freshmen…” Knox leans back into the mic, grinning like the chaotic devil he is as the saxophone beats of Jason Derulo’s “Talk Dirty” repeat in the background.
“YES!!!!” August screams from his chair behind us before Knox can even finish the damn sentence.
“I need one of you to grab me a chair,” Knox adds, winking over at me.
One of the freshmen drags out a folding chair over by the wall and places it center-court.
“Alright Trifecta, it’s that time again,” Knox chuckles into the mic over the commotion in the gym.
“Now this song, like Shakin’ Hands, belongs to that one Hollow King in the crowd…
” He pauses dramatically, tapping his chin like he’s thinking things over.
“So who do we think should come down and sit in this lovely little chair of mine?”
Cade laughs beside me, leaning over. “As if we don’t already know.”
I rise from my seat, not even looking at Cade. My feral gaze is locked on our girl, knowing damn well this song belongs to me and only me.
“I think we’ll change things up a bit,” Knox adds.
“What?” I snap.
“Sit down, bestie. I have a better idea for today,” Knox laughs. “And I think everyone in here will thoroughly enjoy the show.”
“The fuck are you doin’, Knox?” I mutter under my breath, plopping back down into my seat with a huff.
“Now for the first time in Trifecta’s history, we have a full boyfriend row, a husband,” Knox beams, holding up his hand to show off his wedding band. “And one big, happy family for once in our fucking lives.”
Roman’s heavy hands find Cade and my shoulders, giving them a tight squeeze.
“So I think that this time,” Knox continues, “we let one of our fine as hell Daddies have the spotlight.”
“Holy shit,” Cade whispers, laughing as he slams his forehead into my shoulder. “Knox’s lost his mind.”
“Daniel.”
Bella gasps, her hands flying to her mouth. She laughs behind them, shaking her head like she can’t believe Knox just did that shit.
“You’ve got to be kidding me,” Dad groans, low and gruff as he rises from his seat.
Knox doesn’t miss a beat. “TO THE CHAIR!”
Roman’s loud as fuck whistle echoes off the rafters of the gym.
Dad slaps Roman in the arm. “You should have to get down there, Rome.”
“It’s all you, Dan!” Roman slaps him back. The two of them fighting like the old frat brothers they are.
Dad sighs like a man accepting his fate, steps forward, and sinks into the chair like it’s his throne.
“Make some noise for Daddy Barinov everyone!”
The gym loses it. August’s chanting “DILF! DILF! DILF!” like a man on a mission. Javi and Rico are laughing so hard they can barely stand. Rez has his arm around Haley’s shoulder whispering something into her ear that has her slapping his chest, cackling before walking off.
Ellie and Haley flank the sides, all in sync, but it’s Bella who strides forward center stage with a feral little smirk playing on her lips.
“Okay, Bella,” Knox announces. “You’re up.”
Bella walks right up to my father, straddles him with practice ease, and sits down on his lap like she owns the fucking chair and the whole damn gym while she’s at it.
Mom tenses so hard you can practically hear the diamonds on her bracelet clench.
Bella leans in and begins unbuttoning Dad’s shirt with slow, teasing fingers. “Now Daniel,” she purrs, her voice all smoke and sugar. “We’ve got some rules here at Wexley.”
The Legacy girls scream.
“Here we go,” I groan, dragging a hand down my face.
“One,” Bella continues, lowering her voice. “We lose the shirts.”
“Take it off!” August roars behind us.
Bella barks out a laugh as she drops Dad’s shirt to the ground. “And two. We touch you. You don’t touch us. Otherwise…” She trails off, glancing over her shoulder at me. “Your son might have an issue.”
“Hands off, Dad!” I yell over the chaos.
Dad raises both hands like he’s being arrested. Then the fucker leans back with a smirk as if he’s never been more ready for anything in his life.
“If you can promise to be good, Dan,” Bella says, standing slowly and brushing her body off his lap with an exaggerated flair. “We won’t tie your hands. Sound fair?”
Dad nods and just gets more comfortable in my damn chair.
Cade leans in. “Like father, like son.”
I elbow him, but I can’t stop the laughs from coming either. Bella gives me a little wink as she and the girls strike their starting poses.
Knox switches the lights to the deep Hollow-Kings-red he uses for fight nights at The Pit and lets Talk Dirty begin.
“Fucking shit,” I mutter, already bracing myself.
Zeke leans over and whispers something into Marisol’s ear that pulls a laugh and an “OMG, no babe!” out of her mouth, but I’m too focused on my girl about to give my Dad a lap dance to care.
The girls begin their sexy as sin routine, dancing around Dad’s chair. Hips swirling and fingers teasing him all one by one.
Bella of course, steps forward first. She struts straight up to my father and plants her ass in his lap like she was born for this stage.
One arm slides around his shoulders as her hips roll in slow and dangerous circles.
Her other hand drags across his bare chest, blood-red nails raking lightly down the muscle.
She leans in so close he can probably taste her breath.
If he was stupid enough to try.
She rises and circles him like a panther, owning every inch of space around him like it was hers from the start.
Ellie’s up next. She swings one leg over him and faces the crowd, winking at Briggs. Little Whitmore grinds down like she’s auditioning for the Talk Dirty music video.
“Damn, it, El,” Briggs laughs under his breath, shifting his weight in his chair. Probably to adjust his dick without being noticed.
Been there, buddy.
And Daniel Barinov… the motherfucker looks smug as hell when Haley takes her turn. He tries not to smile too hard as Haley bounces on his lap next, but fucking fails.
Miserably.
Bella climbs right back onto his lap right before the song talks about conversations not being long but something else is. She drags her fingers slowly over his abs and winks while tugging at his belt.
Yeah. We all knew what my little minx meant by that shit.
Haley dances behind him and tangles her long fingers through his hair. Her curves slide over his back while the crowd absolutely loses it as Ellie hops back on.
“Your dad is probably so damn hard right now,” August says behind me, not even trying to be subtle.
Mom snaps her head toward him in a full death glare that’s so icy it could probably freeze lava. August just blows her a kiss and returns his eyes to the girls.
Cade leans over and brushes his lips against my ear. “August’s not wrong.”
I groan, slouching lower in my seat. “I’m never letting him live this down.”
When it’s Bella’s turn again, she kneels between Dad’s legs and trails her fingers up his thighs.
Like she’s trying to claw into his soul.
She flips her hair back once before dancing like sin incarnate.
And when the damn song talks about tongues on necks—you fucking guessed it!
Our goddamn girl trails her tongue up my father’s neck.
Then she looks back at me over her shoulder. She locks her steel-grays onto mine and blows me a kiss. I grip the edge of my seat so hard I hear it creak.
“Jesus fucking Christ, Bella,” I mutter, my jaw locked tight.
Cade chuckles next to me. “You good, baby?”
“Is it bad that I’m fucking turned on?”
Cade snorts, falling forward out of his chair as the song finally comes to an end.
