Chapter 22

Boaz

“Haa…ahh,” Boaz clutched the sheets tightly as pleasure rolled through his veins, his moans falling out of his mouth unchecked.

He was going to come like this. His cock throbbed against his stomach hard like steel as Alexander sucked harder swallowing his blood down like it was the best thing in the world.

He fucking missed this. He never thought he’d miss Alexander’s bite, but he did.

Two long days of waiting and hoping he’d come back.

And now that he was here Boaz couldn’t hold back.

He arched into the vampire, rolling his hips.

He was close, so close. Alexander smoothed his hand down Boaz’s chest, brushing over Boaz’s nipples.

Toe-curling pleasure flooded his veins. Cum shot out of his cock and hit his stomach and throat.

“Ugh…” Boaz arched off the bed, the room blurring at the edges. He must have past out, because when he woke up again. A blanket was thrown over him and a weight was settled behind him.

Alexander? The vampire was still there. And he was holding him tightly against his chest. The vampire’s warmth seeped into his skin and his heavy arm around him felt nice and comforting.

For a second Boaz closed his eyes and let himself enjoy being held.

He wasn’t a small person. As a matter of fact he’d felt like ogre all his life, yet in Alexander’s arms he felt so small and desired.

Boaz leaned into the vampire’s warmth, wanting more of it. He could stay there for an eternity.

Boaz froze, shocked by his thoughts.

He made to move away but Alexander tightened his grip as he made displeased sound.

“Where are you going?” he asked, he asked kissing the back of Boaz’s neck.

“I…” Boaz mumbled still trying to wiggle away.

“Stay…please.”

The catch in Alexander’s voice gave Boaz pause. He looked over his shoulder at Alexander, but he couldn’t see him clearly. He tried to turn around so that he could face the vampire, but Alexander’s arms tightened around.

“I’m not going anywhere. I’m only turning around to face you,” he said. Alxander loosened his grip immediately and lifted the blanket as Boaz turned around to face him.

Boaz swallowed as he came face to face with the vampire. His heart pounded in his chest and his stomach fluttered. And the pounding and fluttering got worse as Alexander stared at him. Boaz tried to breath slowly, his skin suddenly feeling tight.

What the hell was going on?

He looked away from him, unable to keep Alexander stare.

“Is everything okay? You sounded off,” Boaz said.

Alexander didn’t answer. Boaz looked back at him.

“That’s better,” he said. “I like to look at someone in the eye when I’m talking to them.”

Boaz blinked, trying hard not to look away. But his heart and stomach couldn’t take this.

Fuck. Why was he so nervous?

“Are you going to answer my question?” he asked, shoving the nervousness down. They’d had sex already. What was there to be nervous about?

Alexander was silent for so long, Boaz thought he wouldn’t answer. “I woke up my parents before their time to tell them that Drago died. It went as well as you can imagine.”

“Did they blame you?”

“No. The opposite actually. My dad was understanding. And it was like a stake through my heat,” Alexander said. Boaz looked away at the mention of a stake. “Yeah, I know how it feels because someone staked me.”

“How long are you going to blame me for saving your life?” Boaz groaned, shifting slightly away and sitting up.

“I’m not blaming you. It’s a joke. I guess that was a bad one.” Alexander said, he waited a beat then he reached for him. “Come back here. I need you close.”

Boaz’s stomach fluttered so hard, he couldn’t breathe as Alexander dragged in to chest and held him tight. He sighed contently as he braced his chin on the top of Boaz’s head.

“What…what do you mean you need me close?” he asked.

“Your scent comforts me,” Alexander said. “And I need a lot of comfort right now. I can’t stop thinking about my dad and mom. She’s probably awake now. The thought of her hearing about Drago is tearing me up.”

Boaz pulled back and stared at him. “Maybe you should be there when she hears the news. You’re running away right now. Avoiding the inevitable.”

“I know. I ran, and the only place I could run to was here,” Alexander said. “I ran to you.”

Okay. That’s it, Boaz pushed away from him. He swatted Alexander’s hands away when he tried to hold him down.

“What’s gotten into you?” Boaz asked, running his fingers in his hair, a shaky nervous feeling taking over him. Alexander stared at him as if he hadn’t been saying things that were “You’ve been saying things. It’s making me…”

“Making you what?” Alexander sat up to. He placed his hands on either side of Boaz’s legs and leaned close. An inch separated them, they were breathing the same air.

“Its making feel things. You can’t say things like that to someone when you know you don’t mean them. You and I…”

“What if I mean it?” he asked his eyes intense, slowly turning red.

“No. You can’t. What about Lyla? She’s your bride. She’s likes you a lot and she’s…” Before he could finish his thought, Alexander took his lips in the sweetest kiss, Boaz felt low in his stomach.

“I want you,” Alexander said against his lips. “I want us to continue like this.”

“No. We can’t.”

“Why not?” Alexander kissed the corner of his mouth.

“Stop.” Boaz placing a hand to Alexander’s chest. His fingers tingled at the mere contact. “I can’t think when you do that.”

“That’s because you can’t think of a single reason why you and I can’t be together. And don’t tell me about Lyla. I’ve never promised her anything. That only leaves you and me. Why can’t we be together?”

“I…” Boaz said trying to think of something, but nothing came to mind.

“See. You can’t even think of a reason why we can’t be together,” Alexander said.

“You’re not into males. There,” Boaz said.

“No. I’m into you, baby.”

Boaz gasped. “Fuck, Alexander.”

“You like that, huh?” Alexander rumbled as he pushed him to his back. Alexander slid over him. His cock slowly hardening against his. Boaz stared up at him not sure what he was fighting. He liked being with the vampire like this. And he liked his fucking cock inside him.

“Okay,” he whispered.

“Okay?” Alexander asked, smiling a little as he kissed his check. Boaz shivered, his lips tingling as he anticipated Alexander’s kiss. But before he could kiss him there was a heavy knock at the door.

“Hey, Boaz. Are you in there?” Hansel shouted.

“Fuck,” Boaz mumbled as he shoved Alexander off him. He ran to the closet and reached for his jeans. “You should go,” he said as he pulled them on. Hansel knocked again, this time louder. “Hold on, I’m coming.”

“Why should I go? Talk to him and come back.”

“Alex, please …go. I don’t want you and Hansel fighting again.”

“Does Hansel control you?”

“Not now please,” Boaz said, standing there and waiting for Hansel to leave. Alexander gave him a hard look, then he got off the bed and walked to Boaz. He leaned close and kissed the side of Boaz’s neck, then disappeared.

“Fuck,” Boaz said breathing out. He turned to the door before his brother broke it down.

“What took you so long?” Hansel asked as he tried to step into the cabin, but Boaz stopped him. He stepped out into the porch and closed the door not wanting Hansel to pick up Alexander’s scent.

“Is everything okay?” he asked looking at him quizzically.

“Everything is fine.”

“The fuck it is. You disappeared, Boaz. You left Lyla alone in a fucking haunted house. What the hell happened to you?”

Fuck.

Boaz’s heated. He’d forgotten all about Lyla. As soon as Alexander showed up, he’d lost his fucking mind.

“Is she okay?” Boaz asked.

“She’s fine now. I found her in there, she was so scared. What the hell man?” Hansel shoved him slightly. “What the hell happened to you?”

Shit.

“I had to go for a run. You know how my wolf gets in closed off spaces,” Boaz lied. “I’ll talk to her tomorrow. Apologize.”

“You better,” Hansel said, he turned and walked down the stairs. “Goodnight.”

“Night Hansel,” he said. He returned into the cabin and dropped down on the bed. Alexander’s scent wrapped around reminding him of how stupid he was. He buried his face in his hands, disgusted with himself.
