Chapter 32

Boaz

Boaz couldn’t believe they were doing this. Having a wedding right before the world might come to an end.

He had seen the proposal already, heart-wrenching in its own way, but the wedding was even more intense. Dressed in his robes, Manlius stood beside a long table filled with lit candles and burning incense in his garden. Next to him was Killan, the Fae king, dressed in his royal regalia.

The couple had asked them both to officiate their union, and since Manlius’s house was the only place with a touch of magic, it had been deemed the most suitable place for the ceremony.

Though the space was small, people had squeezed in wherever they could, gathering to witness what might be the last happy moment of their lives.

Without even meaning to, Boaz’s eyes drifted across the crowd in search of Alexander. He had seen him earlier, and the sight had left his chest aching. The pain was nothing he could have prepared for. It hurt more than anything he had ever known.

“Fuck,” Boaz whispered as he wiped away the tears that suddenly slipped down his cheek. He couldn’t watch this. “Excuse me.”

He pushed through the gathered crowd and stepped into the house. A hand suddenly caught his arm and pulled him deeper inside.

Boaz was about to swing a fist at whoever had grabbed him, but froze the moment Alexander’s scent hit him. He inhaled, almost desperately, as if he had been starved of it.

“What are you doing?” Boaz forced out, trying to pull his arm free from Alexander’s grip. But the vampire only tightened it as he led him up the stairs.

Alexander pushed open the first room they reached and stepped inside, closing the door behind them and locking it.

“Alexander,” Boaz whined, as Alexander pressed him back against the door and crowded into his space.

Boaz tried not to lean into him, but Alexander’s warmth loosened his limbs, making it harder to think clearly.

“I’m not a distraction,” Alexander said.

“And I’m angry that you’d even think that about yourself.

You’re incredible. You draw me in without even trying.

You pulled me into your world, even when you weren’t there.

You’re… beautiful. I can’t stop thinking about you.

I couldn’t even stop myself from wanting to be close to you. You mean everything to me.”

He pressed a soft kiss to the side of Boaz’s neck, making him shiver.

“I am?” Boaz asked softly.

“Yes,” Alexander said. “I love you.”

Boaz swallowed, warmth spreading through him, but he forced himself to say the words he’d been carrying all night. “What about Lyla? She’s your bride. You’re supposed to have a child with her. You can’t just walk away from that. You have to…”

Alexander lifted his head and looked at him. “I don’t have to do anything. I’m choosing who I want to be with. And I want you.”

Boaz leaned into him, unable to hold back anymore. He had wanted this closeness all night, but had kept his distance. Now, he couldn’t deny it.

For a moment, nothing else mattered. Not the expectations, not the future, not even the uncertainty ahead.

“Fuck me,” Boaz said, sinking his fingers into Alexander’s hair. He moaned as Alexander tightened his arms around him but didn’t do anything else. “Come on,” Boaz complained.

Alexander laughed and pulled back to stare at him. “You’re one horny werewolf,” he said.

“You made me that way,” Boaz said.

He cupped both Alexander’s face with hands and kissed him, before he moved to the bed. He took off his clothes and lay down on the bed.

Alexander groaned as he followed him there. He stood at the foot of the bed as he roughly pulled off his clothes.

Then he was on top of him. Boaz reached for him, smoothing his hands down his back as they kissed and rolled on the bed with agency. Alexander pulled back and stared down at him.

“There are so many things I want to do you,” he rasped.

“Later,” Boaz said, as he spread his thighs wide and reached between them and grasp Alexander’s cock. He brought it to his hole. “We don’t have time right now. We have to go to war. And I want to feel your cock inside me again.”

“Fuck,” Alexander hissed. “We need lube.”

“It’s fine. You fucked me yesterday morning, remember? I’m still stretched,” Boaz groaned as the head slipped inside. It hurt, but he didn’t care. He wanted him now.

“It feels like a long time ago,” Alexander said as he carefully sank inside him. Boaz gasped as he felt every inch of his thick cock in his ass.

“Yeah,” Boaz said.

He arched into Alexander as he started to move. He sank his nails into Alexander’s back as he fucked him deeper and harder. “Ahh…shit,” Boaz cried out.

A sudden warmth filled his body, and it was like they were wrapped in a cocoon and there were the only people alive. A sudden knock at the door startled him. Boaz froze and turned to the door.

“What’s going on?” a voice outside asked. “Open the door.”

“It’s locked,” another voice answered.

“Are they having sex in there?” the first voice asked. “We were supposed to use the room.”

“Hey, you can’t use the room. It’s for our honeymoon.”

Vigorous knocking followed.

Fuck.

“Alex, stop. We have to…” Boaz said, but his words dissolved into a moan as Alexander pulled out and flipped him to his stomach.

When he slammed back in, Boaz forgot his name.

Alexander pushed him into the mattress, his entire weight sinking into him.

He didn’t even care that they were people outside trying to get in.

That he was screaming, moaning uncontrollably and people could hear him.

“Harder. So close. Don’t stop,” he moaned, meeting Alexander’s every thrust.

But the vampire suddenly pulled out. “No,” Boaz cried in protest.

Alexander flipped him to his back.

“I want to come on you,” he growled. “I want to smell myself on you. When we fight.”

Boaz’s heart clenched in his chest as he stared up at the vampire.

He lifted his hand and ran it down Alexander’s chest. “Okay,” said as he lay back down.

The covers beneath him seemed to warm again, enveloping him in a cocoon as everything around him disappeared.

Alexander grasped his cock. And stroked, his eyes closing in bliss.

Boaz did the same, arching off the bed as his orgasm rushed through him.

“Ahh…shit,” he moaned as cum spurt out and hit his chest. And almost went out of his mind as Alexander’s cum hit his skin. “So hot,” Boaz mumbled as he trembled. Alexander whimpered above him..

Alexander took a deep breath, then dropped down next to him.

Boaz turned to him, and slowly ran his fingers down his chest, memorizing every inch of him.

His heart clenched in his chest at the thought of tomorrow.

He blinked away tears as he pushed the thought away, not allowing it to ruin this moment.

As if he read his mind, Alexander pulled him to his chest.

“I’m wet,” he protested as the cum made their skin stick together.

“I don’t care,” Alexander said as he held him tighter. Boaz closed his eyes, and held on to him.

“I love you,” he finally said.

“I know. I love you too” Alexander said, his voice rough. “Rest. Tomorrow we have a long day.”

“Do you think we can win this war?” he asked.

“I hope so,” Alexander said, leaning his forehead to his. Boaz stared at him, getting lost in Alexander’s gaze. “I’ll make sure of it.”

“You will. How?” Boaz asked. Alexander didn’t answer. He sank his fingers into Boaz’s hair instead, holding him still for a searing kiss. Boaz moaned, his body flaming all over again. He couldn’t get enough of him.

Alexander kissed him for a few seconds, then gently pulled away. “I need to go and speak to Manlius.”

“Okay,” Boaz said. He needed to go talk to the packs that had gathered as well.

They needed to come up with a plan on how they were going to do this, but he would rather stay in bed with Alexander.

He got out of bed reluctantly and padded to where he’d dropped his clothes.

He quickly got dressed, his eyes on the messed up bed.

This was going to be embarrassing.

But Alexander didn’t seem to care. He easily walked to the door and opened it.

“You finally come out,” Manlius said, giving them a disappointed look. “This room was meant for the married couple.”

“There are other rooms,” Alexander said without remorse. Boaz looked down at his feet, mortified.

“We should go and apologize, Alexander,” Boaz said.

“It’s too late. Killan prepared another room for them,” Manlius said.

“It's sorted then,” Alexander said. “We need to talk.” Manlius gave him an incredulous look and then turned and walked down the hallway.

“You should have apologized,” Boaz said, poking Alexander on his side with one finger.

“Why? They got another room. No harm done,” Alexander said, closing his hand around Boaz’s finger and holding it. He pulled him to a stop and stared down at him, an intense look in his eyes.

“What?” Boaz asked.

“Nothing,” Alexander said. “Go to camp and get as much rest as you need.”

“Okay,” Boaz said. He leaned closer and kissed Alexander, his heart clenching in his chest. He didn’t know why, but it felt like goodbye. “I’ll see you out there.”

Alexander nodded, then walked away. Boaz turned and walked down the stairs.

He prayed to whoever would listen that they save them.
