CHAPTER THREE #2

“I picked you up and placed you over my shoulder, and then went in search of your brother.

I found you, Kyle, about five hundred yards away, lying unconscious on the ground.

I carried you on my other shoulder and brought you here.

I called my commander, who sent out a doctor to check you over.

" They moved closer; something in what he was saying was making them uneasy.

“The doctor said you will recover fully, but you need time to purge the toxin from your system.

He determined that the two of you had been poisoned, probably over a period of time.

The drug had been administered slowly in small amounts, building up in your system until the water bottles.

They were liberally spiked with phenobarbital.

It knocked you out." He left it there for a moment, wondering whether they would comment or ask questions.

The silence hung there for a couple of minutes, and then Kyle spoke.

"I've been tired for a couple of days now. I thought it was just overwork, fatigue, you know, the usual." Kyle stated, and Casey echoed, having felt similar.

"Why did you bring us here? Why didn't you call the police or an ambulance?” Casey asked.

“The Cabot Winery and Coven does not deal with police. We take care of our own problems." He made that statement very clear, and Kyle nodded. He wasn't sure if they understood, but they weren’t upset. He figured that he might as well start dealing in truths right from the beginning.

“There were two men with you." He said, then told them about seeing them early around three, talking and making some sort of plans, and about the statement one of them had made about trespassers at the winery. “Those men returned hours later with the two of you. Then they were gone, and you were left unconscious and alone in the woods. I didn’t want to alert them that you had been found and were recovering, at least not until I understood the situation.”

"You think Brad and Hank did this to us?" Casey asked.

“Don’t you?” He responded curtly.

"Yes, but why? What do they have to gain by hurting us, especially Hank? We hardly know the guy. He’s Brad’s business partner.

" Kyle spoke, getting more animated with each word.

Bram found himself rubbing his hand up and down Kyle's back, easing his agitation.

Casey too leaned into him, searching for support.

“We need to figure that out. My fellow guard Rainey is currently combing the woods looking for Brad and Hank. It’s not safe for you out there right now.

” Bram was very clear. The twins relaxed and lay their heads back on Bram's shoulders.

It was a pose that was becoming familiar and soothing for all of them.

"Why are you helping us, Bram? Why do you care so much?" Casey's voice was nearly a whisper.

“I’m invested, I suppose. I found you, and I will keep you safe.

” He wasn’t sure how to phrase it. “I have a lot to explain when the time is right, but just let me say that there is a connection between us.

I feel it, and I know that you do too." He looked at Casey and then at Kyle. They did not deny it.

Casey looked at Bram, his eyes filled with calm, and after a moment, he spoke.

“I’m unnaturally comfortable with you, and that fact does not bother me in the least. I look into your eyes, and I see a warmth and a significance that I've never seen or felt before.

" He paused for a moment, letting his eyes travel Bram's face as if looking for something specific.

“Something is happening here, and I don’t think it was by chance that you found us in the woods. I think. . . it was meant to be.” That statement came out of nowhere and left Bram stunned for a moment, just staring at Casey, and then Kyle spoke up, slipping his hand up to caress Bram's cheek.

“You found us, brought us here, got us care and treatment, and then nursed us through the worst of it. I want to thank you, but that seems so insignificant compared to what you have provided for us.” Kyle moved up onto his elbow and looked down at Bram.

“I'm not going to pretend I don't feel anything because I do, and I feel it passionately.” He drew out the word passionately, adding a couple of extra syllables while his expression took on a look of hunger.

"Lying here with you like this feels so right, as if we've just been waiting around for your arrival into our lives.

Now that you're here, everything is so natural, and trust has come so easily.

" Kyle was analyzing their connection honestly and openly.

The acceptance Bram heard in his tone was very satisfying.

His beloveds were much more than he’d originally expected, and their eagerness was something they were not trying to hide or minimize. They were open with what they thought and felt, and Bram was stunned by their easy honesty.

“We are meant to be.” He repeated Casey’s words.

“I feel for both of you, I've never desired two men before, but my heart aches for you both.” Bram too spoke candidly and hoped they understood.

Kyle unexpectedly kissed him passionately on the lips, and Bram immediately returned the kiss with his own level of passion.

He held him tight as he went deep, tasting this little beauty.

Casey slid on top, straddling Bram's hips, rubbing himself suggestively against Bram's hardness and running his hands over his chest, unbuttoning Bram's shirt in the process. They were forceful and wild and exactly what Bram desired. He felt Casey’s soft hands under his shirt, caressing his heated flesh, and the excitement grew like a wildfire.

Kyle ate away at Bram’s mouth like a starving man, and Bram responded in kind, reacting and enjoying every moment with his two beloveds.

He had not thought the leap from strangers to lovers would be this smooth, but he was not upset about it.

The bond had grown during the night, tying them together on a soul level.

Their hearts and minds were reaching out and connecting.

Bram trailed the back of his hand across Casey's hardness, feeling the pressure against the thin jeans he was wearing.

The moan and the increased grinding came together to build a need that would soon require proper attention.

With his other hand, he reached around Kyle and cupped his ample, round ass, squeezing and massaging, working his fingers into the crevasse.

Kyle moved, dropping his head onto Bram's chest and whining oh so seductively. "This is too fast, but I want it so bad.” Kyle was struggling with his own needs.

“We can stop, baby. No hard feelings.” Bram assured.

"No, don't stop, please don't stop." Kyle urged, and Casey continued to grind and moan in a world of his own. They were absolutely gorgeous, and they belonged to him.
