Chapter 11
Chapter Eleven
Heath originally came to the resort to experience a variety of partners, as well as try new things, since it was the perfect location for self-discovery. If he tried something and found it wasn’t for him, he could easily move on with no regrets or hard feelings.
Nobody would be hurt in that decision.
However, between Dayne’s expert blow job and eating Cara’s pussy to the point of orgasm, he had to reevaluate his original plan. He liked the idea of helping someone with an open mind who was also eager to learn.
Of course, every guest here most likely started their sexual journey by losing their virginity. After that, how far they took it or the direction it went depended on the individual and their willingness to attempt new things.
Vanilla sex was perfectly fine for the average relationship. But to Heath—and obviously Dayne—that flavor could get boring after a while.
Similar to ice cream, some days he craved vanilla and other days, chocolate or strawberry. It depended on his mood and his partner, or partners, at the time.
That train of thought brought him back to a conversation they had earlier at dinner.
Cara had asked, “On the tour, you two mentioned you’ll have sex with anyone you’re attracted to. Does that mean you’re both considered bi?”
Dayne was the first to respond. “Truthfully, I’m considered more of a pansexual, but most people are more familiar with the term bisexual.”
“How about you, Heath?”
“When asked, I simply use bi, too,” Heath told her.
“But really, I don’t care how people label me as long as they’re not using a slur.
” He’d heard plenty of those. Even from his ex-wife after she discovered he’d been with men before.
It hadn’t been a secret but he also didn’t think it was important to bring up those encounters. The past was just that: the past.
Apparently, that info had been important to her.
Unfortunately, she never looked at him the same again. She also never let him touch her. She turned into an ice queen and froze him out. Of course, that led to the beginning of the end for their marriage.
If he’d known that the simple fact of him being attracted to men would be a dealbreaker for her, he would’ve told her a lot sooner and saved himself the heartbreak and financial hit.
“When did you realize you were bi?” Dayne asked him.
“Over twenty years ago, when I was in college.” Heath chuckled.
“Sometimes copious amounts of alcohol brings out most unexpected results. I was at a party over at a friend’s apartment and a guy cornered me, daring me to kiss him.
As someone who likes a challenge, I took him up on that dare and what started as a quick, dry kiss turned into a full-blown make-out session with tongues involved.
He was shocked at my enthusiasm since he hadn’t been expecting me to react the way I did. Honestly, I didn’t either.”
Dayne’s eyebrows rose. “It didn’t go any further than that?”
Heath scraped a hand down his beard as he relived the memory.
“Not that night. I was pretty intoxicated and wanted to wait until I was sober enough to analyze what happened and how I felt about it. But when I wanted to seek him out the next morning and kiss him again, I figured that was a pretty good sign I wasn’t one-hundred-percent straight.
My eyes were definitely opened that day and I’m glad they were.
I didn’t realize until then that I had been repressing a major part of who I was. ”
“How about you, Dayne? When did you figure out you were pan? Or even bi?”
“I was like this ever since I can remember. But Fisher Falls, while close knit, isn’t the most accepting community.
Since it’s rural, this area is also like living in a bubble.
A lot of people never leave and aren’t exposed to anyone different from them.
A lot of residents here are automatically against anything they don’t understand.
Worse, they don’t even want to make an effort to understand.
So when I was younger, to be safe, I kept my thoughts about boys to myself.
Now that I’ve returned and am older, I really don’t care what anyone thinks of me.
If they don’t want to accept me, that’s their problem, not mine. ”
“But when did you actually come out?”
Dayne shrugged. “After I left Fisher Falls. However, I kept it from my parents since I wasn’t sure how they’d deal with it. Then recently I saw how my mother acted when she found out about my brother being the same way.”
Again, that made Heath curious about the possibility of twins leaning the same direction with their sexuality .
“Your mother was okay with it?” Cara asked.
“She didn’t even blink.”
Heath couldn’t miss the relief in his voice. “That’s great,” he murmured, wishing his parents had had the same reaction.
Cara’s head tipped to the side. “But your father had passed already, right?”
“Yes. But my parents thought a lot alike so my hope is he would’ve reacted the same. I mean, it’s possible since they were both ‘live and let live’ type of people. I think that’s part of what made our childhood so great.” Dayne turned his eyes back to Heath. “How about yours?”
“Mine…” Heath took a gulp of his wine and sighed.
“They’re pretty conservative and, to this day, believe a person’s sexual attraction is a choice.
Was kissing my first guy a choice? Sure.
Was how I reacted to it one? No. Maybe that’s why when I met my ex-wife, I proposed to her.
To smooth things over between me and my family.
” Deep down, the “son” hoped that seeing him married to a woman would make his parents forget he was bi.
In reality, as a mature man, he should’ve known better.
“Did it work?”
“Well, since the marriage turned into a complete failure after she found out I was bi, I’d say no.”
“You didn’t tell her before?”
“I didn’t think I had to share my past relationships or sexual history as long as I was faithful to her.”
Apparently, he’d been mistaken.
Dayne huffed, “If I had to divulge all of my past sexual history, I might as well write a book and just hand it over.”
“It sounds like it would be a tome,” Cara teased. “Or saga.”
Dayne winked at her. “One that would make you blush more than those erotic romances you read. ”
That comment made Heath believe that Dayne was kinkier than what he’d seen so far. The resort owner was probably holding back, most likely due to Cara’s inexperience.
Neither wanted to overwhelm her. They didn’t want to abruptly shove her into this lifestyle, but instead, give her encouragement and gentle nudges. She would either enjoy it and continue on that path, or put on the brakes and find an alternate path she’d be more comfortable with.
They needed to consider her like a rose bud.
With a little time and attention, she would eventually bloom into everything she was ever meant to be when it came to sex and intimacy.
As long as Cara didn’t wake up from her nap and decide she made a mistake by agreeing to come to his cabin tonight.
For her, being with two men might be too much, too soon.
Heath had asked Dayne to arrive early so they could figure out how to handle each other without getting into any kind of push and pull in front of Cara. While Heath was open to being either the top or bottom, not all men were. He also had no idea what Dayne’s limits were when it came to kinky play.
Once Dayne arrived, they discussed all that and more.
Luckily, it turned out that Dayne had no issues with catching or pitching. That alone alleviated any second thoughts about spending the week with only him and Cara.
He loved to give and receive. Sometimes even at the same time. Since Dayne admitted he was up for anything, Heath took him at his word.
They also addressed safe words, but when it came to Cara, Heath wondered if it would even be needed. At least when it came to all three of them together.
However, he left the idea open that if Dayne wanted to play to the point where safe words were needed, they might have to exclude her. Or at least warn her first so she could excuse herself if it became overwhelming.
Dayne agreed that giving her options would give her more power.
Heath was relieved their outlook on kinky play aligned. The most important thing this week would be safety and communication.
He’d normally include trust in that list, but he’d only known both Cara and Dayne for less than a day. It would take time to build that trust. He wasn’t even sure if that could be achieved in a week.
Heath swung his gaze over at the man looking sexy as shit as he leaned against the counter in the cabin’s kitchenette.
What Heath found mind-blowing was the fact two of them existed on Earth. Even though he hadn’t met Dylan yet, he reminded himself not to randomly touch anyone looking exactly like Dayne without confirming his identity first.
That would not only be awkward, but also a violation of the resort’s consent policy.
Heath managed to stop staring at Dayne and glanced at the time. “She’ll be here soon. Do we want to wait for her in the hot tub?”
Dayne pushed off the counter and slipped his phone from his jeans. “Sure. I can send her a text telling her to find us around back.”
“Hopefully, she’ll see it in time and not assume we ditched her.”
“We can tack a note to the door, too,” Dayne suggested. “Just in case.”
They ended up doing both.
“I’m assuming you didn’t bring a bathing suit.”
Dayne smirked. “What fun would that be? ”
Heath shrugged. “It could be fun to peel you out of it.”
“If you’re really looking forward to that, I can wear my boxer briefs.”
“Then you’ll have to go home commando.”
“Nothing new. And it’s not like it’s a long trip.” Dayne’s warm chuckle made Heath smile and fanned the flames of his desire for the man.
“Do you want to use the bathroom or bedroom to get undressed?”
