Chapter 33

Thomas

I woke up Sunday morning with an idea that had been ruminating since the wedding.

Holding him in my arms, Mason’s head was on my chest, the very spot I hoped he would stay for the rest of our lives.

He was mentally exhausted from worrying about the wedding and needed to sleep.

As I sifted my hands through his hair, I put my plan together.

With everyone’s help, I could make it happen today.

With the start of Mason’s football season and Axel’s hockey season, things were going to get extremely busy.

It would be a while before they saw each other again simply because of logistics.

If this was going to happen, it had to be today before we boarded the plane to go back to our lives in San Diego.

Reaching for my phone, I found Axel’s number. Typing one-handed was a challenge, but I didn’t want to wake him.

Me: I need a favor.

With his internal clock five hours ahead on European time, coupled with jet lag, I hoped he was already awake. When the dots started to bounce, I took it as a good sign.

Axel: Okay, G-man. What do you need?

I shook my head at his reference to my FBI days. I didn’t understand the fascination.

Me: I’m going to surprise your brother, but I need him out of the house for a couple of hours to get things organized. Think you can do that?

I waited for him to read it as I mentally checked the first item off my list.

Axel: Sure. What time are you thinking?

Me: Anytime after nine. He needs to rest.

Axel: Okay.

Axel: Can I ask what the surprise is?

Me: Sure. I’m going to change his name today to Kingsley.

The dots started and stopped, making me wonder if he was going to tell me it was a bad idea. I didn’t care if it was or not. No one knew him the way I did, and with every passing minute, I knew in my soul he was my person, and I was his. And today, we’d make that official.

Axel: Took you long enough.

His familiar words in London made me smile. Smug bastard.

Me: I take it you approve.

Axel: You adore him, so yes, I approve.

Me: We have a plan. I’ll text you details later.

Placing my phone on the bed, I held him a bit longer, thinking about everything I needed to do.

Maddie and Makenna were thrilled when I brought it up last night, and they’d even given me the perfect location to do it.

It was one of their favorite places when they were growing up.

The only thing left was to get my help organized.

It wasn’t long before Mason stirred. He inhaled deeply, then nuzzled his face in my chest hair.

Next came the roaming hands that found my erection.

Slow pulls on my cock made me hungry for him, so I rolled him to his back and took his mouth.

His eyes were still closed as I kissed the man I loved.

My erection pressed into his hip while I found his, giving him the same treatment.

Pulling back, I placed kisses on his chin and cheeks. “Shower.”

Mason smiled. “Yeah.”

Whipping back the covers, I pried myself off him, taking a moment to look down at all the muscular beauty that was going to officially be mine.

Mason’s eyes met mine with a lazy smile as he stroked himself.

Dipping down, I couldn’t help but engulf the head for a quick taste.

He moaned and bucked into my mouth until I pulled back and got out of bed. “Let’s finish this in there.”

“I don’t ever want to be finished, Tommy.” His statement was music to my ears.

Walking into the bathroom, I turned the water on to heat while I grabbed the lube. In case he wanted more than a quick handy, I wanted to be prepared. Even though we had an hour before Axel would take him to breakfast, I wanted to enjoy every second of this.

Mason entered the bathroom, still hard and ready to go.

Stepping into the shower, he followed, wrapping his arms around me from behind.

His shaft slid between my thighs under my heavy balls.

My head fell back to his shoulder as he took me in hand and stroked me lovingly.

“What do you want, sweetheart? My mouth, my hand, my ass. It’s your choice. ”

The deep rumble in his chest vibrated my body as he held me closer. “This. Just like this. Me holding you close and getting you off.”

I wanted that too. But we needed to slick up.

Reaching for the bodywash, I poured some into my hand, then reached down to soap my cock and his.

Turning out of the stream of water, Mason pressed my chest to the wall as he stepped back, taking my hips with him.

Repositioning his cock between my legs, he whispered for me to cross my ankles.

I complied, making him moan. “So tight, baby. Hands on the wall.”

Leaning in, we found a rhythm that brought us both a happy ending.

Mason’s hitched breathing and change in motion signaled his impending release.

His excitement pushed me over the edge as he stroked me with varied pulls that never failed to end me.

This was going to be my life. He was going to be my husband.

And we were going to get our happily ever after.

After showering, we went downstairs to get coffee. As far as Mason knew, the plans for the day were to hang out at the house. But when Axel came down and wanted to spend some time with him, Mason looked to me. “You okay with that?”

“Of course. Go spend some time with your brother. I’ve got some work to finish up.” When Axel left with Mason a little while later, I turned to the guys in the kitchen. “I need your help.”

I hadn’t told them anything about my plans, opting to leave that until this morning. “Okay, Thomas, what’s going on?” Lennox asked. “Mason looked like he was leaving his puppy behind when Axel only wanted to take him for breakfast.”

I smiled because he was right. That’s exactly what Mason looked like. “That’s how he is, and it was part of my plan. I asked Axel to do it.”

“Why?” Dane asked. “What’s going on?”

Scanning each of them across the table, I smiled.

“It’s our wedding day. I’m going to marry him while we’re all together, and especially since Axel and his sisters are here.

With the upcoming season, it just makes sense.

I dropped the idea to Maddie and Makenna last night, and they loved it.

Maddie and Zane don’t leave for their honeymoon until tomorrow, so the timing is perfect.

There’s no reason to wait, because it’s what we both want. ”

I watched their expressions as it sank in. Carson hugged Colin closer. They’d been through hell and back. “Love that for you guys. Tell us the plan,” Carson added. “What can we do to help?”

Opening my phone, I outlined the details of the when and where, then went through the list I’d made in my notes app. “I need to buy rings, but I don’t know his ring size.”

“I read somewhere,” Colin said, “you can determine his ring size by measuring the girth of his cock, then subtract two.” He held up his hand as if we didn’t understand what girth was. “You know how big his dick is, yeah?”

Carson sighed, trying not to laugh at his husband. “I’m almost afraid to ask where you read that. I’m sure it wasn’t a reliable source.”

Colin furrowed his brow. “I think it was a book, or maybe a porn site. Maybe Only Fans? We should try it. Take off your ring, babe, and drop your pants. It’s for science. And Mason.”

Lennox threw up his hands. “No, no, no. As much as I love a good porn flick, that won’t be necessary. I know Mason’s ring size,” Lennox added. “We ordered our Super Bowl rings at the same time.”

I was relieved. “That will make it easier. I just hope I can find something.”

“Have Axel try it on,” Dane suggested. “If it fits him, you should be good to go.”

I grinned at him. “Fighter pilot for the win.” He smiled and held up his hand for a high five.

“Who are you going to get to marry you?” Colin asked.

Looking down at my list, the name was already there. But I had to ask him. Lifting my eyes, I looked at Lennox. “It would mean the world to him if you do it, QB. I don’t have to tell you why.”

Lennox’s expression morphed momentarily into disbelief until Dane whispered in his ear. He nodded, then smiled at me. “Yeah, I’d be honored. But what about Ev and Hudson? They’re going to miss it. And you guys are close. We all are.”

“We can FaceTime them,” Carson said. “They’ll be here.”

That seemed to satisfy Lennox. “Yeah, okay. That works.”

It never failed to amaze me how good these men were.

Always looking out for each other and being there when you needed them.

Was I going to miss Hudson being here when I did this?

Absolutely. But I knew him well enough to know he’d want me to be happy.

So I turned to Lennox. “You can get ordained online. We’ll file the license in California when we get home.

” I looked down at my list again. “The girls are taking care of a couple of things, and beyond that, it’s just the venue.

” I turned to Carson. “Can you guys go over there and help his sisters set it up?”

“Definitely. But what about his dad?” Carson asked. “Should you invite him?”

I rubbed my hand over my jaw, thinking it over. “That’s a question for Axel. I’ll text him and let him decide. I think he’ll do what’s best for Mason, and my feeling is no.”

Once we had everything nailed down, we went our separate ways as I headed out to find a jewelry store for the perfect wedding rings.
