32. Kaden

Kaden

“So, you’re definitely not straight, then?” Seth says, handing me a can of Coke.

I’m flat out on his couch. Still high on endorphins.

I wasn’t going to come tonight. Like, come, come. I had this idea in my head that I was going to show up, blow his head off with a mind-blowing orgasm and leave.

But I couldn’t. I would’ve exploded. I’ve never been so hard in my life, and my balls were basically up in my stomach. There’s nothing that turns me on more than making someone else fall apart at my hands. Or mouth.

And that was a headfuck—sucking a dick, I mean. I didn’t think I’d like it, but… Fuck, I did.

“You just figuring that out?” I say, taking the Coke from him, cracking it open.

“So, are you bi?” He drops down on the other end of the couch, frowning a little, like he can’t figure me out.

Welcome to the club, dude.

“I don’t know.” I shrug.

“But you’re not gay? I mean, obviously, you’re not, since you’ve always had girlfriends. But like…” He scratches his head, and I can basically hear the gears turning.

“There’s smoke coming from your ears,” I state.

“Fuck off!” he chuckles.

I take a deep breath. “I don’t know. Honestly, I haven’t really thought about it. I feel like I’m just going with it. Like, yeah, obviously, I’m not straight, but I don’t know if wanna slam on another label, you know?”

“Fair.” He nods.

“I mean, how do I even know?”

“What do you mean?”

“I mean…” I sigh. “How did you know you were gay?”

He tilts his head back and forth. “I guess I always knew. Like, I looked at boys the way boys looked at girls.”

“Yeah, but see, I don’t do that,” I say, pulling myself up to sit.

“You don’t look at boys the way you look at girls?”

I scratch behind my ear. “I don’t know if I look at girls either.”

He frowns. “But you’re always in a relationship?”

“Yeah, but, it’s always them coming on to me first. I don’t think I’ve ever hit on someone, unless they’ve shown interest first.”

He drops his head back, eyes in the ceiling. “Oh my god, your head is huge right now.” His hoarse voice breaks at the high note.

“Fuck off!” I snort, and he laughs.

“No, no, I get it. You’re hot as hell!”

I tilt my head. “Dude!”

He chugs back the Coke, placing the can on the coffee table.

“No, but seriously. I think girls are into that.”

“Into what?”

“That whole thing you’ve got going on. Strolling around, sexy as sin, bit of a loner. Mysterious. Yeah, I can totally see why the chicks are chasing you and not the other way around.”

“Mysterious?” I scoff.

“They eat that shit up,” he grins.

I shake my head. Taking a sip of my Coke before I place it on the coffee table.

“Boys do too,” he mumbles, gaze far away somewhere.

“Huh?”

“I mean,” he says, clearing this throat. “If it turns out you’re bi, you’ll not only be chased by girls, but boys too.”

I raise my brows, snorting.

“Dark, tall and handsome?” He bites his bottom lip. “Mmm, yeah, baby. The boys will crawl for you.”

I frown. “I can’t tell if you’re being serious or not.”

“Of course, I’m serious,” he laughs. “Have you ever looked in the mirror?”

“Dude!”

“What? I’m gay, Kade, and you’re really fucking hot.”

I drop my gaze to the floor and rub my forehead.

“Are you blushing? Wait, wait.” He turns towards me. “Kaden Merrick, are you fucking serious right now? Is this the first time anyone’s ever told you this or what the hell is going on?”

“Dude, calm the fuck down!” I chuckle. “No, it’s not the first time, but I get really uncomfortable. And we just had sex, I’m all vulnerable and shit, so can you shut up?”

He just stares at me, eyes wide, mouth gaping. I press my lips together, dragging a hand down my chin. Then he closes his mouth, drops his gaze to the floor and shakes his head.

“What?” I mumble.

“Nothing,” he says, voice all tight, shaking his head again. He turns around, faces the TV and crosses his legs before he uncrosses them just as fast, spreading them wide. Clearing his throat, he reaches for the controller. “You wanna play?”
