13. Bobby
BOBBY
Bobby wasn’t sure what he was going to do.
He should have told Gabriel they were legally married as soon as Daniel had confirmed it on Friday, but he hadn’t known how to have that conversation.
It was all his fault as well. From what Daniel had discovered, Bobby had been the one to get an official marriage licence before they went to the chapel.
And it appeared they weren’t drunk enough at the time for the wedding to not go ahead.
He guessed it was the celebrations afterwards that had been when they’d both blacked out.
It was ringing faint bells for Bobby, and he was certain that it had been his idea for them to get married. Had he coerced Gabriel into it somehow?
Daniel had said they could get it annulled with no issues, but his living with Gabriel would complicate things.
On Friday, his head had been too battered to bring it up, so he’d gone to bed early.
He’d seen the look of disappointment on Gabriel’s face, even though he’d tried to hide it.
His sleep had been sporadic throughout the night, which was why he’d gone to the gym early.
He’d barely touched the weights as he’d needed to get his heart rate up with cardio.
Running mindlessly on a treadmill for ten kilometres helped him clear his head, and he’d decided he was going to tell Gabriel everything about the marriage being real.
Then he’d come home, which is how he saw this place already, and walked in on Gabriel with his massive cock out – and that wasn’t an exaggeration.
Playing rugby and sharing a locker room for years with other men, Bobby had seen a lot of dicks.
It was normal to check a few out and see how you measured up.
Nobody had come close to what Gabriel had between his legs.
Even soft, it had looked like a third leg.
Maybe that’s why he only bottomed. Who could take that?
Then, last night they’d had the conversation about the type of guys Gabriel liked, and he hadn’t been able to stop thinking about it.
Bobby was a big guy, so his partners had always been smaller than him, and he loved being able to throw them around the bedroom before cuddling them to death.
Alex had been wild in bed when they’d first met, and she seemed to be into the same things as her brother, except for the choking thing.
Bobby had never done that with anyone, but he’d seen it in porn and it had turned him on.
The idea of bringing that up with a woman had always been a complete no-go area, and it wasn’t as though he was desperate to try it.
The idea just intrigued him. He wasn’t sure he liked the idea of Gabriel being with guys who’d be rough with him, even if that’s what he liked.
The idea made his body prickle with something . . . he just wasn’t sure what it was.
The flat door opening yanked him out of his thoughts.
Why was Gabriel back so early from Sunday dinner at his parents’?
Bobby had been to enough of them over the past two years to know they went on for a while.
The look on Gabriel’s face made his heart ache.
Why did he look so sad? Gabriel always had a smile on his face, especially for Bobby.
He jumped up and rushed over to give him a hug.
“What’s happened?” he asked.
Gabriel started crying. Bobby pulled him closer, wanting to do anything he could to make him stop, but if he needed to get it out first, Bobby would be there for him.
The hug went on for ages, but not long enough for Bobby.
It made him feel good to be needed by someone, even if he hated seeing Gabriel upset.
He pulled away and Bobby missed their connection immediately.
He wasn’t sure what that meant, but he could think about it later.
Bobby wanted to know who’d upset Gabriel so he could do something about it.
He wasn’t expecting Gabriel to pull a piece of paper out of his back pocket and pass it to him.
He opened it and saw it was their wedding certificate.
“Fuck!”
“Did you know?” asked Gabriel.
“Only since Friday.” He wouldn’t lie.
“Why didn't you tell me? Instead, I got ambushed by my parents, who believe everything Alex is saying, and this is the proof. She was the one who gave them this. How did she get it?”
“What? Did you tell them about her and Dillon?”
“Of course I did. They think I’m making it up.”
Bobby wasn’t sure what to say to that.
“How did you find out, Bobby? Did a certificate come here as well, and you hid it from me?”
“Of course not. I’d never do anything like that.”
“But you knew we were legally married, and rather than tell me so we could make a plan, I got blindsided and now my parents are taking my sister’s side.”
“They didn’t kick you out, did they?”
“Might as well have done. They said I needed to apologise to Alex for ruining her life by stealing you off her.”
Bobby couldn’t stop himself from laughing.
“It’s not funny, Bobby.”
“I know. I’m sorry. It’s just they expect you to apologise to her after what she’s done? I didn’t realise just how manipulative she could be. Looks like I married the right sibling,” he said, adding a wink.
Gabriel stared at him for a second before chuckling and shaking his head. That was what Bobby had wanted. He hated seeing Gabriel sad. This was a big fucking mess, but he would fix it.
“If a certificate didn’t come here, how did you find out?” asked Gabriel.
“I mentioned it to my boss, the big boss.”
“Daniel Harper?”
“Do you know him?”
“Not personally, but he’s friends with Simon, who’s Dexter’s boyfriend.”
“Oh, small world.”
“I’ve seen him a few times in Knights Corner as well. That is one handsome man.”
Bobby didn’t disagree with the assessment, but he felt funny about Gabriel saying it. Thankfully, Daniel was in love with Josh, because he might go for someone like Gabriel, and Bobby wouldn’t like that. Gabriel was his friend. Bobby had forgotten what he was talking about, and then he remembered.
“Daniel suggested the wedding might be legit, so he did some digging for me. It turns out that we went to the Marriage Licence Bureau first, and then we ordered a certified copy afterwards. I must have given my address for them to send it.”
“How did you know to do all that?” asked Gabriel.
“I can’t remember, but my lawyer brain probably checked out how to do it properly and then insisted we do all the steps.”
“This wasn’t how I saw myself getting married.”
Bobby snorted. “Me neither, but we can get it sorted.”
“How?”
“We can apply for an annulment. Daniel thinks living here could complicate things, though.”
“How? You’re in the spare room, and you’re straight.”
“It might be easier if I speed up finding a place of my own.”
“You don’t have to do that. I said you can stay as long as you want. If that means we have to get divorced instead, fuck it. It’s not like I have a line of men beating down my door to get married.”
“It won’t come to that. I’ll get the annulment.”
“Good to know my husband isn’t lacking in confidence.”
They both looked at each other for a second before laughing.
Bobby would do what he’d promised, but he’d also make sure Gabriel’s parents knew the truth about how amazing their son was, and that if anyone should apologise, it should be them to him.
He knew how he could do that, but he needed to give it some thought.
Bobby didn’t have the right contacts for what he had in mind, but he knew a bossman who did.
It was Valentine’s Day, which also meant it was Bobby’s wedding day, or it was supposed to be. Instead, he was lying in bed, not wanting to get out of it. Thankfully, it was Saturday, so there was no reason for him to get up.
The week had gotten away from him, with work being busy.
He was supposed to have been away for the next two weeks.
Bobby had checked on the honeymoon booking, but Alex had already cancelled it and got a refund.
How she’d done that, he wasn’t sure. Bobby had paid for the honeymoon, but he doubted he’d be seeing that money again.
Explaining the whole situation to his parents had been easier than he’d thought.
After speaking to his brothers, they’d suggested he be honest about everything, so they didn’t hear it from Alex or Gabriel’s parents.
They had been shocked to hear he was married to Gabriel, although that was nothing compared to what Ryan had said.
He’d called him an irresponsible twat, which had hurt, and Martin hadn’t helped by reminding their big brother that their baby bro had gotten a husband before him.
Martin had tried to poke his nose in and help with the annulment, but that was something he was sorting himself.
He just wanted to get past this weekend, and then he’d file the papers.
The idea of having filed for an annulment before his official wedding day felt wrong.
He wasn’t sure why, but he’d get it moving next week.
It could take anywhere between three to six months to complete.
Another reason he was still in bed was that his dick wouldn’t go down.
He hadn’t been able to stop thinking about what Gabriel had said about being manhandled by a bigger guy.
He’d watched some bisexual porn, and there was a massive, tattooed guy who had a dick the size of a tree trunk, and he’d folded a woman and another guy in half and pounded them.
It had been hot, and he’d cum in less than two minutes.
He’d watched bisexual porn before, but it was usually a woman being spit-roasted.
This had been quite different, and every time he thought about it, his dick kept throbbing.
Perhaps he could deal with things quickly.
He moved his hand underneath the sheet and gripped his cock.
“Bobby, are you awake?” asked Gabriel softly through the door.
He jerked in surprise and quickly gathered the duvet so it would hide any obvious bulge.
“Come in.”
