Slowly the tension oozed out of his body, and Kane went still.
Wrapping his arms around her, he rolled, so he was beneath her, and she lay sprawled across his body, their mingled sweat soaking their skin, her heart racing against his chest.

“That,” he murmured, “was well worth the wait. And the aggro and...”

“No, we’d be far too distracted.” He smiled. “But it would be fun.”
