12. Presents & Payback

twelve

Presents my body is ignited with desire, every inch of me buzzing with anticipation.

As I sit here, lost in thought about the unforgettable evening ahead, the door to uncharted pleasures awaits me. I’m ready to embrace my role as their submissive, and there's no place I'd rather be. A muted laughter and hushed voices filter in from the kitchen, and moments later, Koda enters the living room, mischief dancing in his captivating eyes.

"So, Everest is cooking, and Baine is off to the store... it's just us for a spell, my little Ember.”

As he leans down to kiss me, I find myself gently pushed against the cool glass of the window—a refreshing contrast to the heat radiating from my skin.

"You're right; it is just us for a little while." I reach up, trailing my fingers across his cheek, feeling the scratch of his stubble beneath my palm.

He radiates happiness now, a stark contrast to the Koda I first encountered—so distant and guarded. I don't hold his past against him; I see who he truly is now—a sweet, considerate man. A smile lifts my lips as I gaze into his eyes.

"I need to talk to you about something, Em."

"Okay, but I still have your Christmas gift for you... What would you prefer to do first?"

"Is ‘you’ an option?" He chuckles, trying to tease a smile from me, but anxiety coils around my nerves .

It feels like he’s softening me up before delivering something heavy. I hope I can handle it. He takes my hand and guides me to the couch, settling beside me.

"Ember, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about us, about our relationship," he begins, his gaze searching mine for a hint of what I'm feeling. My heart races in my chest as I await his next words. "I don’t want you to go back to college. I want you to stay with us." His declaration fills the air with a mix of excitement and disbelief. My thoughts whirl as a smile blossoms on my face.

"Koda, I’ve been waiting for you to say that," I reply, leaning in to kiss him, my lingering doubts dissipating like mist. "I promise I'm considering it."

"I hope so. I can’t shake the feeling of unease knowing you'll be back there with him. Honestly, I'm not sure I could bear the thought of not seeing you regularly. It feels like I’ve just gotten you back after so long."

"I understand, Koda. I feel the same way. Um, was that what you wanted to discuss?"

He shakes his head, his expression shifting to one of seriousness, anger sparking in his eyes. "No, there's more, and I’m not sure how you'll take it."

His admission sends a rush of nerves through me, prompting a fight-or-flight response within me. Determined to delay the inevitable, an idea strikes.

Standing before Koda, I wrap my arms around his waist and gaze up into his eyes. "How about I give you your gift first?"

I watch his eyes light up, a delightful smile deepening the dimples on his cheeks. "I'm so eager to see what you’ve gotten me, but you really didn’t have to go through the trouble."

"Koda, it’s the least I could do. You've been wonderful to me since I arrived, and I wanted to give you something that might help you feel... a bit at ease."

He gently cradles my face in his hands and brushes kisses on my forehead, filling me with warmth. "Let’s go to my room so I can receive it in private," he suggests, and I take his hand, leading him toward the sanctuary of my space.

"Ooh, is it like that?" He quips playfully, but I shake my head, wide-eyed.

He’s misinterpreting my intentions. "No, Koda. Not quite yet. This is something different, and honestly, I’m uncertain how you're going to react to it."

"I'm sure I’ll love it, my little Ember."

I guide him into my room and have him sit on the bed. As I retrieve a small box from my bedside drawer, I place it in his hands, my heartbeat quickening as he opens it slowly. I cross my fingers, hoping it brings him the joy I intended...

Koda

Cradling the box in my hands, I struggle to fathom what it could possibly contain. The nervous expression on Ember's face reveals a whirlwind of worry and sadness in her beautiful brown eyes. I take a deep breath, mentally preparing myself for what’s to come.

“Take your time, Koda. Open it when you’re ready,” she reassures me, sitting beside me for support.

Her gentle, manicured hand massages the small of my back, sending shivers down my spine. The thought of revealing our plan to visit Shawn terrifies me—what if she despises our decision? We’re only trying to protect her, and I’d do anything for her. This should show her that.

As I cautiously peel back the wrapping paper, my stomach churns with a mix of anxiety and anticipation. Inside the box, I find a thick envelope bearing my name on the front. Confusion washes over me as I take it out, feeling its weight. Ember’s hand never leaves my back; I love the sensation of her touch.

“Do you want me to open it now?” I ask, looking at her.

“Whenever you’re ready. I’m not rushing you.” There’s a depth of meaning in her words, and I can sense that this gift is significant.

Flipping the envelope over, I tear at the sealed flap and withdraw a stack of photographs. “What are these?”

“Just take a look and see if you can figure it out on your own. Oh, and I hope you don’t mind that I used your printer,” she adds, a timid smile playing on her lips, accentuating her beauty.

“What’s mine is yours, Ember.”

As I shuffle through the photos, I see a teenage boy with a bright smile and a mop of curly, dirty blonde hair. Confusion lights up my face as I glance back at her, noticing a tear escape down her cheek.

“Flip them over,” she prompts, her voice thick with emotion. I do as she says, reading the words scribbled on the back: Koda Landon Whittaker Jr. My heart plummets, and I feel as though it's about to burst from my chest. I try to speak, but my voice fails me. My hands tremble, desperately gripping the pictures.

Ember's hand tightens on my back as I search for the right words.

“Is this… is this my son?” I manage to whisper.

She nods, tears cascading freely now, and I instinctively wrap my arms around her, pulling her close.

“He’s your son, Koda. He’s a junior... He’s a teenager now, Koda. He’s thirteen and doing really well.”

"How... how... what...?" My voice trails off, staring at the pictures while I inspect each one.

The resemblance is undeniable. I let the tears spill; I’m not ashamed to break down in front of Ember.

“Are you okay, Koda?” Her voice is anxious and soft, evoking the kind of fear that makes my heart ache.

I place the stack of pictures beside me and gently push her down on her back, bracing myself above her as I drown in her gaze.

“I don’t even know how to express this. I wasn’t prepared for this at all.”

“Are you mad at me?”

I kiss her, desperate to taste her lips. “No, I’m not mad at you. This is the best gift I’ve ever gotten. You’ve given me my son, Ember. You made the impossible happen, and for that, I fucking love you more than anything or anyone in the world.” I kiss her again, longing for her with every fiber of my being. As I pull away, I caress her cheek, searching her eyes filled with love and gratitude. “Thank you. Thank you for showing me my son,” I say, my voice thick with emotion.

Ember’s smile is tender, her eyes glistening with tears of joy. “I just wanted to give you something you’ve missed for so long.”

I take her hand and hold it close to my heart. “You’ve given me more than I could ever ask for,” I tell her, overwhelmed. “I love you, Ember. I love you so fucking much.”

With that, I lean in for another kiss, knowing our bond has grown stronger with the incredible gift she has given me—my son, my Koda Jr. But now, as I hold Ember close, I realize my love for her has soared to new heights. There’s no fucking way I can let her leave me now.

“How did you do it? How did you find my son and get these pictures?”

She shrugs, a mischievous glint in her eyes that I’ve never seen before. “I reached out to your ex and had a little chat with her.”

“And she just handed these over?”

“Um, not exactly…”

I raise an eyebrow, intrigued. “What did you do, my little troublemaker?”

“I may have suggested that if she didn’t let you see him, I could leak her secret on social media,” she admits, a teasing tone in her voice. “You know, the proof you have of her lying about the rape accusation.”

My jaw drops, and I freeze above her, shocked by her boldness. “You blackmailed her?”

“I did. What she’s doing isn’t right, Koda. It's not fair to you,” she explains. “And what’s even worse is how she named him after you.”

“I know; I thought the same thing.”

She pulls my lips down to hers, but instead of kissing me, she rests her lips inches away, foreheads touching, her sigh heavy with emotion. “She’ll let you see him, Koda. She’ll allow you to be a part of his life.”

Astonished and overwhelmingly grateful, I close the distance between us, kissing her with an intensity that almost leaves her gasping. The fire in my chest burns brighter than ever as I hold Ember close. I can’t let her go, not after all she’s done for me.

“Stay with me, Ember. Please stay,” I whisper, my voice laced with urgency.

She looks at me, uncertainty flickering in her eyes. “I don’t want to leave, Koda. But I’m afraid of what’s next.”

“Whatever comes next, we’ll face together. I need you, Ember. I can’t do this without you.”

I feel her body relax in my arms, and she nods, a smile breaking across her face. “I love you, Koda. I’m not going anywhere.”

Everes t

Slipping my arms into the sleeves of my sweatshirt, I pull it over my head, looking up in time to see Koda and Ember walking down through stairs. They both look like they've been crying, and fear makes my stomach twist, thinking that he told her about our plan.

"What's the matter with you two?" I ask cautiously.

"Nothing; Ember just gave me her Christmas gift." I switch my eyes to Ember and see her smiling now as Koda pulls her petite body against his side.

"What was it?" I wink, but he doesn’t look to be in the playful mood.

"I tell you later... right now, we have to talk to Ember." He gives me a knowing look, and it makes me second guess what I originally thought.

Why the fuck were they crying? Ember looks nervous, but she still walks side by side with Koda, following me into the game room where Baine is already sitting.

"You guys are making me nervous,” she says, anxiously biting her bottom lip.

"Just sit down with me and listen; we'll explain," Koda tells her, kissing her neck with seductive brushes.

"So, Ember, the three of us came up with an idea for how to pay that sick motherfucker back for what he did to you." I come right out with it, not wanting to delay it any longer. I want to get back and try out Ember's new gifts.

"I thought I told you guys to leave it alone." Her face falls, and fury ignites in her eyes.

"We can't, Em, and I know you already know that," Koda tells her, his voice stern and demanding.

"So what are you planning on doing?"

"Simple. An eye for an eye."

She looks confused, but we agreed not to tell her. We want to record it and leak it online where everyone will see. She'll find out soon enough. For now, I have to focus on staying calm and not giving anything away. As we fill Ember in on as little of the plan as possible, I can see the mix of emotions on her face. It's a dangerous path we're taking, but it's the only way we can think of to make him pay for what he did.

"I just don't want to make things worse for me, guys."

"Oh, my little Ember, they won't get worse, I promise."

"So you're all going?" Sadness fills her voice, but we fix it with our smiles.

"No, one of us is staying with you to make sure you're okay."

She blushes, flicking her gaze between the three of us. "So who is staying?"

"We figured B—"

"I'll stay," Koda cuts me off, his voice deep and low as he looks at me, his jaw ticking as he grits his teeth.

"You sure you want to stay? I thought you wanted this."

"I do, but I want Ember more. We need our private time so this works perfectly. Just make sure you record it from start to finish for me."

"You know we will. You enjoy your private time." I nod, knowing that Koda staying behind is the best choice. He looks at me with determination in his eyes. "We'll make him pay, Koda." I give him a small smile.

"I know you will, Ev."

"How about while we' re gone going get little Vixen over here ready for when we get back?" Picturing her cuffed to the bed, maybe with nipple clamps on and whipped cream covering her body, my cock twitches as I think about licking it off of her cunt.

"Get me ready?" Ember's sensual voice cuts through my fantasy, and my eyes find hers on instinct.

I smirk, watching Koda run his hands up her thighs, and a shiver wracking her body. "He's talking about the plug, my little Ember. I'm going to show you how to use it when they're gone."

Hearing him talk to her like that, I get more and more aroused. "Come on, Baine. Let's get this shit done."

As I grab my jacket and head out the door with Baine, I can't help but feel the excitement building inside me. We're going to make him fucking pay for what he did to Ember. This is personal, and I'll do whatever it fucking takes to make sure he gets what he deserves.

I can feel the tension building. This is it. Revenge is finally within our grasp, and nothing is going to fucking stop us from making his ass pay—literally.
