Dread

Both brothers are asleep.

Both are purring. Loudly.

And both have their mates spread across their chests like blankets.

Just a pair of terrifying monsters drinking like frat boys, stripping to their drawers, and swallowing magical bees.

Nix isn’t drunk. Or recovering. But she hasn’t moved in nearly an hour.

So, I lie on my back.

I spread my arms to the side.

And I let my magic free.
