Chapter 56
Nash
“Fuck,” I growled against Ren’s neck as I came.
At this point, I could say I qualified for an unhealthy addiction to her.
We’d been up most of the night until she threatened to leave and sleep in another room. But the moment she’d walked out of the bathroom in that white shimmering dress that fit her like a second skin, I had to have her again.
Ren held me tight with her arms wrapped around my neck, her left leg hooked on my waist, and a sexy white heel on her dainty foot. My hand slid down her soft skin to her ankle, and I slowly lowered her to the floor.
“What’s gotten into you,” Ren asked, panting.
Her face flushed red, and her hair looked like what you’d expect after being fucked up against a wall.
I kissed her swollen lips and breathed in the intoxicating fragrance that was all Ren.
I’d come such a long way since the first day we met.
She’d helped me grow whether she intended it or not, and now I was hopelessly in love with her.
Breaking the kiss, I touched our foreheads together.
“You. You’ve gotten into me.”
“Technically, I think it’s the other way around, considering…”
She looked down at my cock still firmly inside her body.
“True. Maybe we can skip this whole thing and stay locked up in here for the night.”
“This is the first birthday that I get to share with my dad. Besides, it will look rude if you don’t show. I know you don’t want that,” Ren said, and I sighed.
“Fine, but if I drag you out halfway through the night for a quickie in the closet, I don’t want any complaints or I’ll be walking around with a tent in my pants,” I said, pulling out and hating it.
“That sounds like a you problem, husband.”
I zipped my pants and leaned my hand against the wall beside Ren’s head.
“Trust me, I’ll make sure it’s a you problem all over the table.”
Ren narrowed her eyes in challenge.
“You wouldn’t dare with all those people and my father present.”
“Try me,” I said with a smirk and pushed away from the wall.
The sweet fluster from our impromptu fuck, was wiped away and replaced with the fiery fuck you, burning in her eyes.
“You really need to stop looking at me like that.”
I adjusted my pants to hide my hardening cock.
Fuming, Ren stomped back into the bathroom.
“You’re completely impossible. I need to clean up.”
She slammed the door, and I chuckled as three short, hard knocks sounded on the bedroom door.
“Come in.”
Liam walked in and looked around.
“Ren still getting ready?”
“I may have distracted her, and she needs to…freshen up.”
Liam snorted and then smiled.
“I may have done the same thing to Theo. Is she as pissed as he is?”
“Probably,” I said, walking over to the mirror to make sure everything was tucked in place.
The last thing I needed was to show up with my shirt zipped into my pants and dangling like a tail. Despite what I said to Ren, I was averse to her father wanting to castrate me. I fixed my hair and sprayed some cologne.
“What else is going on?”
“Cory came through. I got what you needed.”
I glanced at the closed bathroom door.
“So soon? I’m impressed.”
“Trent was easy to break. With the right motivation, anyone will talk…well, almost anyone. I wouldn’t,” Liam said, leaning against the door jamb. “Are you sure about keeping this from—”
“No, but I can’t think of a way to get her onboard. Her heart is too big where he’s concerned. This needs to be done,” I said and smoothed down my tie. “Why, are you having second thoughts?”
“I don’t like secrets, and this is a big one, no matter how we feel about him,” Liam said, and I rolled my shoulders.
“So, you don’t think I should go through with this? Is that what you’re saying?”
He shrugged.
“Honestly, I don’t know. There is more going on with his family than we know, and the threat of having him around all the time is real. The more he weasels his way into all our lives, the easier it will be for him to hurt Ren or make her a target, but…”
He stopped and rubbed his chin as he watched the bathroom door.
“You’re worried about what she’ll do if she finds out what we’ve done,” I finished.
“Yes. We all swore no more secrets. Keeping this from Ren doesn’t feel right,” Liam whispered.
Ren stepped out looking flawless and cut off my response. You’d never know that I’d ravaged her a few minutes earlier, and I kind of hated it. Everyone knowing that I fucked her, my wife, was the highlight of any day. But Ren, sparkling like a rare diamond, was an acceptable trade-off.
“What are you two up to,” Ren asked as she walked closer. Her eyes bounced between us.
“What makes you think we’re up to something?”
“You have that look on your face. You are clearly up to no good,” Ren said as she took Liam’s outstretched hand.
The jealousy instantly took hold when they touched. Fuck, I hated sharing her. As much as I loved my brothers, it was a constant thorn in my side. Yes, I’d agreed. Yes, I would stick to it, but that didn’t mean I had to like it.
Liam kissed the back of her hand and whispered in Ren’s ear, making her blush. I walked away to grab my watch. The word fuck was on a constant loop in my mind as I crossed the room. I had two options: stop watching or kill my best friend.
My movements were jerky with agitation as I swiped the diamond-crusted Rolex from the dress and put it on my wrist. I couldn’t get the stupid thing done up.
Why did they make it impossible to put on with one hand?
The only thing that stopped me from throwing a tantrum and tossing it at the wall was the weight of Ren’s hand on my back.
I sighed and closed my eyes.
Ren forced me to turn. Her fingers were gentle and efficient as she closed the clasp and then held my hand. I finally met her gaze, and the tightness in my chest eased. I could feel her reading my emotions like a book.
Liam was gone when I glanced behind her.
“Don’t tell me not to be jealous. It’s never going to happen.”
She cupped my cheeks, and with the slightest touch of her hands, my lips dropped to hers. The kiss was sweet and hit me right behind the ribcage.
“I won’t. I like it…within reason, of course,” she whispered.
She ran her hands down my arms until she got to the black and gold wedding band on my ring finger. She had pointed it out online, and I liked it so much that I purchased it that day. It was surreal to think of myself being tied down. But once I put it on, I never wanted to take it off.
“Nash, you know that I have enough love for all of you,” Ren said, and I nodded.
“It’s not the love. I mean, it is, but it’s everything else that needles me.
The scheduled nights, watching them kiss you and hold your hand, and you refusing to wear your ring at school.
It all bothers me. I knew what I was getting into, and this isn’t me trying to guilt you.
I’m just not sure I’m ever going to be as at ease with this sharing business as the rest of them are. ”
I linked our fingers and tugged her closer, until her body was touching mine. The heat between us was always there, smoldering like an ember.
Ren looked up and ran her lip through her teeth. Shit, if she kept that up, we definitely were not leaving this room again.
“What if I said that I want all of you at once,” she asked, her voice as soft as velvet and as seductive as any siren.
“Like…all of us fuck you together?”
Ren rubbed her free hand up the front of my chest and then down again. I growled as her fingers traced over my already hardening cock.
“Yes. All of you at once,” she said, and I licked my lips. The light touch drove me wild.
“I’m not sure that is a safe idea,” I said, picturing pummeling one of them to death. Most likely Myles because he would have no problem annoying the shit out of me.
“But wouldn’t it be fun to challenge them to see who could actually last…all…night…long,” Ren said, squeezing my shaft.
My nostrils flared, and my heart pounded hard. A dark desperation to be inside of her rose. I had to admit that proving I could outlast the rest had a certain appeal.
“You’re dangerously close to me closing and locking the door, Princess. I want nothing more than to yank this dress up, your panties down, and make sure that my name is the only one you scream.”
The deviousness in her eyes was like catnip to all my senses. She crooked her finger at me, and I bent over. Ren kissed the side of my neck and then right below my ear. Blood was rushing through my body at a breakneck pace.
“I’m not wearing any,” Princess whispered, then stepped back with a smile that stole every last brain cell.
Unable to help myself, I looked down. Her dress ended mid-thigh with little slits on the sides. I wanted to bend her over a table right now.
“You’re trying to kill me or get me killed. I’m not sure which,” I said, and Ren laughed.
“And if you agree to give me what I want…” She looked me up and down, and I groaned like it was her hand touching me. “Then I could be persuaded to find a closet, or a spare room, a storage room, or even a laundry room, whenever you have the urge.”
I blinked as my brain tried to process what she just said.
“You want me to agree to group sex, and in return, I can have you whenever I want?”
She pressed her lips together as she narrowed her eyes at me.
“Within reason. You can’t drag me out of class, you can’t steal me away from one of the other guys, and it can’t get me expelled, fired, humiliated, or lead to me naked on the news.”
“Damn, I was hoping to have you all over the news,” I said, and a slow smile spread across my face. “How many times do you want to do this group thing?”
Ren flicked her hair over her shoulder. The move was as seductive as everything else about her.
“Whenever I want.”
I sucked in a deep breath and tried to picture what it would be like. I’d been with multiple girls at a time, but this was different. It was one thing to know she was with my guys, and another thing to witness it.
But the offer of whenever and wherever I wanted…that was tempting, like the Devil whispering in my ear, tempting. I’d always wanted to fuck her in the limo or in one of the classrooms. Hell, even on the bar at Volatile while I licked whiskey off her body.
“Done. It’s a deal.”
“You can’t get all weird and punch any of them, even if they deserve it,” she ordered, stepping backward toward the door. “And you can’t back out and sulk. We are in this. They are a part of me and our life, as much as you are. And what I want…is all of you.”
“This will make you happy,” I asked, following her as she continued to retreat like she was pulling me along with an invisible rope.
“Very.”
“Then I’ll do it. You haven’t scratched the surface of my depravity. I’m going to make you so tired that these group sessions are all they ever get.”
I smiled as she rolled her eyes.
“Big talk, Collier.”
We stepped out of the bedroom, and I traced her bottom lip with my thumb. There wasn’t a single part of me that didn’t feel alive when she was near me. I offered Ren my elbow.
“It’s only big talk if I can’t follow through. And Princess…I can follow through. You have no idea what you have unleashed.”
“I can’t wait to find out,” she said.
“Who are you and what have you done with my wife,” I asked, teasing her.
“What can I say…you’ve all corrupted me.”
She smiled, and my heart stopped altogether. I’d started this whole thing believing love was nothing more than leverage to hold over someone, that it was something you controlled or lost.
Somewhere along the way, Ren had rewired me completely. I still wanted her with a violence that scared me, still burned to be the one she reached for first, last, always—but now I knew the difference between possession and protection.
Princess wasn’t mine because I claimed her. She was mine because she chose me. And that made everything else acceptable.
Whatever was circling us hadn’t shown its face yet.
I could feel it lurking in the shadows. It reverberated in my bones, that low thrum before impact, that moment right before blood hit the ground.
I didn’t need names or proof to prepare.
I’d already crossed the line into darkness from which there was no return.
And if someone dared come for Ren…it wouldn’t be a fight. It would be an ending.
