17. Chapter Seventeen #2
“You need my cock inside of you?” Thrust.
I choke on my moan.
“Tell me how much you need it?” He thrusts into me deeper. The sound of our bodies moving together fills the room. The table squeaks on the floor. Plates fall onto the ground. Neither one of us cares.
“I need it,” I gasp.
“How much?”
“So much. I need it all the time. I need you!”
“Good girl.” His lips collide with mine as he fucks me harder. My legs flop open to the side as I let him have his way with me. I need this like I need air.
My hands cling to his shirt. Even though we’re chest to chest, he still feels too far away from me.
“Leo!”
He grabs my backside, pulling me flush against him. The determination in his eyes turns me on more. He needs this. I need this.
I love him.
“That’s it, baby. Come for me. I know you can do it.” His cock sinks deeper into me. It’s like heaven on earth.
“Leo!” I cry out as my orgasm washes over me. My body shudders and shakes while Leo continues to thrust into me.
After one, two, three more times, he finds his own release. He groans, pressing his face into my neck. I hold him close to me. The last thing I want is for him to leave my arms. It feels perfect here.
Leo gives me a long, tender kiss before pulling out of me. He winces when he moves his arm.
“Are you ok?” I ask.
“I don’t regret taking my sling off. If it means getting closer to you, I’ll always do it.”
I want to ask Leo if he loves me. His words make it sound like he does so why hasn’t he said it yet?
I’m tempted to tell him I love him but I’m interrupted by the sound of the doorbell ringing.
Leo helps me off the table and fixes my dress before he goes to the front door.
The moment he opens it, all hell breaks loose. Someone punches him in the face, knocking him to the ground. I gasp.
Men run inside the house, all with guns. Two of those men point their guns at Leo, preventing him from getting off the floor.
I scream as two other men grab me and pull me towards the front door. Matteo steps foot into the house.
“Hello, Emma,” he says, smiling a smile that doesn’t reach his eyes. “You were promised to me and instead, your husband and his boss went against their words. But you belong to me. As Alessandro’s daughter, I have a right to you. So you will come with me.”
“You fucker,” Leo snarls. “I thought you were too calm when Gabriel went back on the deal. But he’s offering you someone else. Take it. I thought you wanted peace.”
“I did want peace. But I don’t like it when I’m promised something and it’s taken away from me. I’m only doing what’s fair.” He nods to his men. “Kill him.”
I cry out before the men can shoot. “Stop! Wait. Please.”
Matteo holds up his hand, preventing his men from shooting Leo. “What?”
“I will go with you without a fight. Just don’t kill Leo. Please.”
“He’ll only come after me. I can see the rage on his face. He needs to die.”
“But then you’ll be at war with Gabriel,” I explain. “Do you want that? I’ll go with you. You can marry me. You’ll have me and have peace with Gabriel.”
“But Leo won’t back down. So you’re point is moot. Kill him.”
Matteo’s men turn to Leo but my distraction gave him a chance to escape. Leo is on his feet, aiming his gun at Matteo’s men. He shoots two of them in the head before anyone registers what’s happening.
Matteo’s other men turn their guns onto Leo but he dives down the nearest hallway, barely avoiding getting hit.
“Take her,” Matteo announces. The men holding me drag me from the house.
And all I can hear is the gunshots inside the house, wondering if Leo is alive or not.
Matteo follows me outside and runs his hand down my cheek. I jerk my face away. “You are mine now, Emma. We will be married. I say we invite your mother along as well. She needs to be punished for keeping you from your father your entire life. Put her in the car,”
His men throw me into the back of a large SUV and tie my hands and feet with rope. I try to scream but they duct tape my mouth and then they lock me inside the car. I watch in horror as Matteo throws a lighter onto Leo’s house and it instantly begins to burn.
He gets into the car with his men and they drive me away from the house.
I have no idea if my husband is alive or dead.
And that thought is heart crushing.
Leo
I manage to run down the hallway without getting shot. I go into the nearest bedroom and lock the door. That will only hold off Matteo’s men for so long.
I run to the window and climb outside. It’s at that moment I smell fire in the air. Something burning.
The last thing I wanted was to run from Emma but I can’t help her if I’m dead. Matteo wants to marry her so for now, she’ll be safe.
Running around the side of the house, I find the front side on fire. It’s quickly burning everything. Matteo’s men drive away, thinking I’m dead.
Except for one man. He spots me and turns his gun on me but I shoot him in the head before he can get me. That’s it. No more.
I don’t hesitate to get into my car and follow the two SUVs driving away. The only problem is: I don’t know which one Emma is in. I call Gabriel. “Matteo attacked my house. He took Emma. He’s not satisfied. He needs to die.”
Gabriel sighs deeply. “Fuck. If he’s not willing to create peace, then he needs to die. Tell me where you are. I’ll come.”
“I don’t know yet. But I’ll let you know.” I hang up, throwing my phone onto the passenger seat before I pick up my speed and follow the SUVs.
I will get Emma back even if it kills me.
