Epilogue
Ten years later . . .
Wind whipped by them as Gideon and Glimmer zipped down the road on Gideon’s motorcycle. Glimmer’s arms around his waist reminded him to slow down a bit. Her life was precious, and he would never play about it.
Ten blissful years of marriage, and Gideon had yet to let up on his pursuit of making Glimmer the happiest woman in the world. Today proved that a hundred times over.
It didn’t take long for them to pull into the parking lot of their destination. Gideon cut the engine, and Glimmer hopped off the bike like a pro. He watched as she took her helmet off and shook her silky hair out. His wife was perfection.
He got off the bike and pulled her into him by her waist. He loved the softness of her body against him. She’d filled out in the past few years. Good dick, good food, and a baby would do that to a woman.
“Did I tell you how good you look today?” Gideon asked.
“A few times.” Glimmer grinned up at him.
“You ready?”
Her grin spread into a magnetic smile. “I think I was born ready.”
Gideon chuckled. “I think so too.”
They shared another quick kiss before they walked hand in hand into Glimmer. His wife’s very own perfume shop.
The smell inside was Glimmer’s signature scent that she had been curating for the past five years.
It was floral and sweet and drove Gideon crazy.
The shop was girly. Everything was pink and gold, and all her signature perfumes had cute bottles and pretty fonts.
The floor was white with pink glitter, and there were even a few plush pink chairs scattered through the space.
The place had Glimmer written all over it, and everyone was so proud of her for finally stepping into her dream.
Gideon reminded her every day that it was never too late.
There were a ton of family and friends crowded into the space for the grand opening. Of course, the Vicious Kings had to come out and support. Gideon loved that they had such a great support system.
“Mama!” Gianna, their seven-year-old daughter, flew across the room and flung her arms around Glimmer.
“Mama’s baby.” Glimmer cooed as she hugged her daughter back.
Gianna was only seven, but she already stood eye to eye with her mother and was definitely taking in her father’s genes when it came to height. Everything else, though, was all Glimmer. They were damn twins and acted the same in every single way and were best friends.
“And what am I, Gigi? Chopped liver?” Gideon asked with a grin.
“No, Daddy.” Gianna begrudgingly let go of her mother and hugged her dad’s mid-section.
Gideon always heard that little girls normally clung to their daddy’s, but that was never the case with Gianna. She was a mommy’s girl through and through. The only person she might have liked more than her mama was her grandfather, Juke.
Gianna turned back to her mother with bright eyes. “Mama, there’s a kid section here with perfumes named after me!” she said with excitement.
“You don’t say?” Glimmer said playfully. Of course she knew. It was a surprise for their daughter. Glimmer wanted to make sure their daughter had stock in her company and could start making money at her young age the honest way.
Gianna grabbed Glimmer’s hand and dragged her to the far corner of the store to show her the collection. Gideon hung back and watched. People came up to him to say hi, but he kept his eyes on his girls. His heart swelled as he watched them interact with the queens and family.
“Look at you all proud of your wife,” Haze teased as he walked up to Gideon and clapped him on the back.
“Prouder den a mothafucka. Where’s your wife?” Gideon asked as he tore his eyes away from Gianna and Glimmer and looked down at Haze with his brows rose.
Haze grinned as he looked around the space and then nodded toward her. “Runnin’ up a bag. Let me go holla at my sis and see if she can hook me up wit’ a discount because wifey’s about to put a hole in my damn wallet.”
Gideon chuckled as Haze walked over to Glimmer. Seeing his boy happy and settled down made him happy as hell (but more on that in another book).
Gideon said hello to Charlene and Juke, who stood toward the front of the store bickering. Not much had changed between them other than they picked up right where they left off and acted like damn siblings.
Finally, he made his way back to his wife and pulled her into him. “I’m so proud of you, Glimmer.”
“You’re the one that pushed me to do this.” She patted his chest.
“But you did it. Let ya man be proud.”
“Be proud of me then, daddy.”
“Don’t start no shit,” Gideon warned as his dick hardened.
He didn’t think there would be a day he would let up off her sexually.
They were ten years strong, and the only time he didn’t do that pussy right was when mother nature sat their asses down.
Even then, he sometimes got her in the shower. She was truly that irresistible to him.
Glimmer tilted her head back and giggled.
As it always did when she laughed, his heart swelled.
He took a moment to thank God for allowing their paths to cross in life.
No matter how fucked up the situation was when they got married, it was divine intervention, but if it had never happened, Glimmer would have never known what it meant to be Vowed to a Vicious King.
