Chapter 4 #2
He grinned up at her. “How are you feeling? Are you in control enough for us to move or do you want to keep going here?” He stood, swiping a finger over her and sending spasms through her body again.
“I’m getting to the point where I don’t care either way, but it might be better to at least get in the car and let the back down. ”
Janice glanced away, suddenly shy about everything that was going on and wishing she didn’t see him pop the digit he’d swiped her with into his mouth.
“If you’re worried about a short ride, don’t be.
I’ve probably got more stamina that you’re equipped to handle and I like to take things slow.
” He ran a hand teasingly down her inner thigh, stirring up that calmed arousal.
“I’ll get you wherever you need to be when we’re finished, but for tonight.
. .” He leaned down over her, letting a bit of his weight press stirringly into her, securing her firmly between his chest and the hood of the vehicle.
His loose hanging belt buckle sending icy shivers into the pulse at the center of her excitement.
He watched as her eyes closed, shivering as she bit her lip, then his voice rumbled into her and she moaned softly.
“I’m open to taking you here, but just let me take care of you. ”
It was a humble request. . . and it set her blood on fire, pulsing the rhythm of her heart into her longing soul and sensitizing her skin to his touch.
His smile was slow, languid when she finally managed to open her eyes to him. “Let me show you why my kind make the best lovers.”
She frowned at him briefly, confused by what that meant, but then he was kissing her and scooping her up off the hood of the car.
Strangely, he did taste of honey, but it didn’t put her off to the way he stirred her passion with his tongue, almost as though he were trying to make a map of the inside of her mouth.
Instead, it heightened her arousal and awareness of how his pants pressed out to meet her core.
He pressed the button on the fob and the car chirped. She could feel him moving, shifting her and then her back bumped up against the back of a seat as he set her down. Then she was dropping back with it and falling away from him.
Warren stood outside the car, which she recognized as a large hatchback when she looked around curiously.
He breathed a laugh. “It was my uncle’s car from his wild days, but he doesn’t get out much anymore, so said I could have it.
” His comment drew her attention back to him.
He was leaning into the car with his hands braced on the top part of the back door frame.
An oddly, aggressively, seductive posture.
“But if you’ll turn your attention back front, we can start the show. ” He grinned, humored by his joke.
Janice sucked her bottom lip into her mouth nervously. She’d never done this before. What was she even doing right now?
He straightened, keeping his eyes locked on hers while he began unbuttoning his shirt.
“It’s okay to be scared.” He said slowly, as though he was talking directly to her soul.
“It’s okay to be nervous.” He rolled his head to the side.
Watching her. Studying her reactions as she took a shuddering breath and shifted farther into the car.
His nose flared slightly in a way she’d often seen Sascha do when she met new people recently.
“This is a scary time. I understand that. If you need to stop, I’ll stop. So pick a safe word.”
Her eyes had trailed to the wealth of hard packed muscle the man was revealing, tracing the strong lines of definition as her mouth watered and her power blended so with her arousal that she could no longer tell what spilled from between her legs.
She had to blink several times, just to refocus her attention on what he was saying.
“What—” she had to stop to clear her throat of its sudden thickness. “What’s a ‘safe word’.”
He breathed a laugh. “Sounds like someone’s Doc is slacking in the sex ed.
Department.” He finished unbuttoning his shirt and tugged it out of his pants before finishing what she’d started with his belt.
“A safe word is something you wouldn’t normally say during sex.
If at any point, you say it, I stop what I’m doing and get off you.
” He undid his pants and climbed into the trunk with her, closing the hatch as he did.
“But you should know, with me, the word ‘no’ just means ‘slow down’.”
Janice blushed. She’d never imagined being in this kind of situation before.
She didn’t even know how she should respond in this kind of situation.
Intrinsically, she found everything about this man sexy, which was something she didn’t understand.
She also didn’t know why his telling her, rather directly that from this point on, no no longer meant no, made her nether regions spasm with excitement.
His nose did that slight flaring thing again and he leaned over her, holding himself up on his hands. “If it makes it easier, pick something you currently find the most distasteful or unpleasant.”
Double-A’s frigid glare popped freely into her mind of its own volition. Of all things, he was the last thing she wanted to think about right—
“That.”
She frowned sharply at the man above her.
He grinned, humored. “Whatever that is, use that.”
She frowned deeper. “But it’s a person that I hate.”
He chuckled to himself. “It was the first thing to come to your mind. It’s fine. If you want to continue this later, you can take your time to come up with another one. So, what’s the name?” He didn’t phrase it as a question.
She pressed her lips together unpleasantly. It actually took effort to even say his name. “Ansell.” She finally managed, but it left a bad taste in her mouth.
He laughed heartily. “Okay, ‘Ansell’ it is.” He lowered himself into kissing distance, distracting her from the unpleasantness the thought of Double-A brought with it. “If you say ‘Ansell’. . .” He glanced down at her lips. “I stop.”
And he was kissing her again.
He shifted his weight to one side, using one arm to prop himself up as he ran the other seductively up her arm, the action causing the passion within her to swell and expand.
He shifted to the tips of his fingers as they grazed up the side of her neck and traced the line of her jaw to the point of her chin, the feeling drawing a soft hum from her.
He leaned deeper into the kiss, his tongue guiding hers as it teased erogenous zones she’d never known about before.
Then his finger was tracing down the midline of her neck, bringing her alive as he traced an invisible path of fire down to her chest.
Her breathing picked up, heart racing a rapid tattoo of anticipation as she wrapped her arms longingly around his neck.
Warren’s fingers hooked over the top of her dress, his knuckles grazed lightly over the skin in the valley of her breasts as he freed them from their confines.
He broke the kiss to glance down at what he’d revealed then.
“As lovely up top as down below.” He palmed her breast, massaging gently and urging a moan from her throat.
“And here I thought your kind came long and lean.” He grinned, flicking a hardened nipple and sending shocks rippling through her to settle in the welling pool of her excitement.
“Someone should have told me you can come as such a sumptuous buffet. . .”
Janice didn’t understand his words. They made no sense to her, but when he dipped his head and lifted the breast he was teasing to his mouth, she didn’t care anymore.
All she could focus on was the way he swelled the mixture of power and lust within her.
His tongue guiding the pool on how to flow, how to move and fill even the farthest reaches of her as he drew on and teased her.
She fisted her hands in his hair as he massaged and laved at her breast, pulling up more of her arousal to swell into her throat and leave her as a plaintive sound. It was almost like he were guiding her vocal cords as well as her building passion.
His hand left her breast then, continuing its trek down her body, making her squirm and draw her legs up together between them.
“Relax.” He whispered against her breast. He started kissing up her chest to the fluttering pulse at her neck.
“I’m only going to touch you for now. . .
” He kissed the hollow behind her ear, whispering against her sensitized flesh.
“You chose me for a reason. . . Didn’t you?
” He caught her ear gently between his teeth, giving a soft tug and she moaned, shuddering in his grasp as the feeling raced through her to swell the welling tide within her.
His fingers grazed farther down until they came to the apex of her right thigh.
“I won’t hurt you—” He stopped moving and she blinked her eyes open to look up at him. He looked a bit taken aback. “Ah. . . I’m sorry. I know it’s normal for this kind of thing, but. . . I didn’t catch your name.”
Janice just stared at him, her mind so stuck in her body and what he was making of her that she didn’t understand what he was saying.
His smile was kind, decent as he removed his hand from her body, leaving her cold.
Instead, he took her chin in hand and tipped her head back so he could kiss the curve of her neck.
“I prefer to know the name of the woman I will make love to.” He kissed her neck again and she shivered, a moan escaping her as her eyes fluttered closed.
She leaned into the caress.
“What’s your name, beautiful?” He asked again, and in that moment, she’d have given him anything he wanted to keep his mouth on her body.
“Janice. . .” It came out more of a moan than a name, but he seemed satisfied with it.
