EPILOGUE
Yasmine
Nick winced when Kaden pulled out.
With a muttered apology, Kaden removed the condom, knotted it off, and dropped it into the garbage can. He pressed a kiss to Nick’s lips, then slid off the bed and sauntered over to me. “Good orgasm?”
“Uh-huh. You do better, though.”
He pressed a hand to his heart. “I do my best. Later, eh? I don’t think either of us are up for anything. Unless you want me to go down on you.”
I grinned. He’d totally do it if I asked.
His exhaustion, though, was clear.
“Take me to bed.”
“With pleasure.”
He scooped me into his arms and carried me to the bed. Nick scooted to the side as Kaden eased me into his grasp. He snagged the comforter, plastered himself against my other side, and then yanked the cover over all of us.
Both men turned on their sides and faced each other while I lay on my back and turned my head repeatedly—trying to read the room. I figured this situation could go one of two ways. It might devolve into a figurative pissing contest. That was entirely possible. Or this might just be the beginning of something…special. “Oh, you said to remind you about Evan.”
Nick took a lock of my hair in his fingers. “Yeah, Evan.” His expression took a serious look. “You can’t tell anyone what I’m about to share.”
Kaden’s breath stuttered.
Then Nick broke into a big grin. “I’m kidding. No one involved will care—in fact they might get a kick out of this.”
“Okay, now you have to share.” Kaden arched an eyebrow.
Nick smiled. “I’ve never been with a man before.”
“Yeah, I got that.” Kaden snickered. “But you sure jumped into the deep end.”
“I want to say curiosity, but it’s more than that.” Nick snagged Kaden’s hand and placed in on my belly so he could hold it and caress me at the same time.
I was unbelievably touched by this small but meaningful gesture.
“So…Evan.” He laughed. “Evan is the brattiest of brats. And loves pain. He’s a huge masochist.”
“Okay.” We hadn’t even begun to talk pain…but I was damn curious.
“Anyway, I’d watched him around Club Kink for some time. We even played together—but a straight pain scene. I inflict, he enjoys, we go on our ways.”
“Is that fun?” Kaden scrunched his nose.
“If both partners agree to the parameters ahead of time? Absolutely. We all have different kinks. Sometimes my sadistic streak is stronger—tying someone up for pleasure isn’t enough.”
“You need to inflict pain?” Again, my curiosity was in high gear.
“To be clear—I never have to hurt someone. That’s all negotiated ahead of time and if I can’t find a willing partner, that’s fine. Just…sometimes my needs align. A few times they aligned with Evan.”
“But you never had sex with him.”
“Nope. Although…” His grin turned wicked. “I was tempted. I’m not as straight as I portray myself. I’ve always been bi-curious. If Evan ever gave me an indication of being interested in something sexual, I probably would’ve propositioned him. Or, hell, knowing him, he would’ve propositioned me. And I would’ve said yes.”
“Might you proposition him now?” Kaden tightened his grip. “Now that you know…”
“How fucking awesome sex with a guy is?”
Kaden’s cheeks pinkened.
Nick laughed. A fully belly laugh. “I think Mistress Kate and Master Dante might have words with me.”
“Say what?” Finally, I had to speak.
“Well, I’m certain if I wanted to do a straight scene with Evan that Dante and Kate would likely allow it. They’d never deprive Evan of something he wants. These days, though, with two Dominants, he’s pretty much getting all his needs met.”
“Two Dominants…” I squinted. “How does that work?”
“With plenty of open and frank discussions.”
“Oh.” I tried to wrap my mind around this. “So…” Nope. Couldn’t do it.
“Well, Kate and Dante were rivals at first. Both wanted Evan and neither wanted to share.”
“What did Evan want?” Kaden asked the question quietly.
“Both of them.” Nick chuckled. “And what Evan wants, he usually gets. Now, to be clear, if they weren’t all in agreement, the triad never would’ve happened. And Evan’s confided there are plenty of contracts and agreements. But I have to say I’ve never seen the three of them happier.”
I chuckled. “And you’re suggesting there might be a way for the three of us to be together without you guys pissing on my leg?”
“Ew.” Kaden lightly smacked my belly. “That’s gross.”
Nick nodded. “Yeah. Plus, there are likely going to be times when you want to be in charge.”
He’s not wrong. Could this work? “But we’re leaving in less than two months. I mean, I’m happy to enjoy this for that time, but?—”
“The company offered me Jacques’s position. With his wife’s uncertain recovery, he can’t even contemplate being on the road. He’s going to take a teaching job close to his home. He’s done traveling—possibly forever.”
“Oh.” I bit my lip. “So you’d be with us all the time?”
“Except during the breaks. I know you’re both from Toronto?—”
“We could totally make Vancouver our new home base.” I frowned, then turned to Kaden. “I might be talking out of turn.”
“Visiting our families is fine, but I’m tired of not having a place of my own.” He eyed Nick. “Just like that? One fuck and we’re a triad?”
“Two fucks,” I reminded him. I held his gaze. If he wasn’t in agreement, then I wouldn’t do this. “We can talk privately?—”
He shook his head. “No need. I know your heart and you know mine. I know you never…took lovers. I think we can agree that we’re done with our open relationship. I can stop wandering if I can get certain needs met.” His gaze fixed on Nick.
“Oh, you can bet I’ll meet all your needs.” His hand tightened on Kaden’s. “For both of you. And who knows? You might discover you like pain.”
I laughed. “We’re athletes. Our lives are full of pain.”
“True.” Nick pressed a kiss to my temple. “But I can show you the good kind of pain.”
“I’m intrigued.” I snagged the back of Kaden’s neck and dragged him in for a kiss.
His response assured me I was spot on. We’d found our new home.
After pulling away from our kiss, Kaden stretched over me.
Nick met him halfway.
They kissed.
Sealing our forever pact.
