39 - He Knows His Place, Part Eight #2
Jonathan’s foul mouth had pulled Ron from the spell her presence had cast over him. Ron could not even bring himself to respond. It was as though he hadn’t want to acknowledge her presence to Jonathan; as though maybe that would stop him from approaching her. It hadn’t.
Ron had watched in frozen shock as Jonathan had taken the chance that he hadn’t been able to bring himself to take.
He had looked on, his tongue feeling like it was rolling into the back of his throat, as Jonathan had offered his hand to the two ladies.
One had been his heaven-on-Earth while the other one had been more like an oasis in a desert; she was pretty in her own right.
Next to a woman like that, it was difficult to be anything but a lesser species.
The two ladies had begun to laugh, as they had both shaken Jonathan’s hand.
The goddess had bared her teeth which were just as awe-inspiring as the rest of her.
They were big, in the endearing kind of way, and white as though she had never drank a dark, staining substance in her life.
At the time, Ron could not figure out why they were laughing.
There was nothing about Jonathan that was that charming or hilarious.
The jealousy that had burned in his belly had become uncomfortable.
For the first time in his entire life, Ron had channeled his inner Jonathan and found his feet carrying him towards the pair that had become a trio.
Taking a long swig of his beer, Ron had slammed his empty bottle on the counter that the desert oasis was leaning against. The two ladies and his friend had snapped their heads in his direction.
He had not meant to be so violent with the way he put his bottle down, but it was like none of his senses existed outside of his sight, which was still locked on the goddess.
Pulling his face into the brightest smile he could have mustered, Ron had held out his hand, as his friend had minutes before, followed by announcing his name.
He had shaken the lesser friend’s hand and then turned his attention back to the object of his desire.
“Lillian,” she replied, holding her hand in his.
She shook hands in the most intimate way that Ron had ever felt.
She shook hands with one hand holding Ron’s outstretched one and the other hand covering their merge, like she was trapping their meeting in her palms so that she could read it later in her lifelines.
Jonathan seemed to feel how different her energy was towards Ron, like she had never met somebody like him in her life.
Jonathan hadn’t be able to understand what it was about Ron that made him so special to this goddess, Lillian.
Throughout the conversation between the four, Ron and Lillian hadn’t stop sneaking glances at one another and, every time their eyes accidentally met, they shared a small, embarrassed smile.
Jonathan could not help but feel that it was his duty, as Ron’s best friend, to allow Ron the divine pleasure of speaking alone to this fine specimen named Lillian.
If Jonathan had known that he had just allowed Ron the rest of his life with Lillian, perhaps he would not have left them alone.
Perhaps, he would have been a little more selfish.
“Jackie, would you like to walk with me?” Jonathan interrupted suddenly, extending his arm to Lillian’s friend.
Her face had turned red, as she blushed from the gesture and gave a nervous nod before throwing a glance back at her friend.
Lillian had offered her an encouraging nod before planting her ample behind, which Ron had noticed, on one of the barstools.
Ron caught the wink that Jonathan threw him, as he had led Jackie away from the pair.
“A wink,” Lillian mused. Even her voice was sexy. It was slightly deeper than what Ron had originally anticipated and had an underlying raspiness that Ron wished was from kissing his lips to feverishly.
“Ah yes, the notorious wink.” Ron smirked as he held up two fingers to the bartender for two shots of vodka. He then slightly turned so that he was facing Lillian once again.
“Tell me,” she said, her lips first pulling at the side and then breaking out completely into a suggestive smile. “What does a wink mean?” At that point, her face had been a hair-length away from Ron’s. He could feel the oxygen being exchanged between their lips. And then, hers was gone.
The smirk did not leave her lips even when she was no longer facing Ron, but rather the bartender. Ron stayed stuck in his place for a minute before shaking his head and giving the bartender the owed amount. The pair picked up their shot glasses to cheer.
“Uh-uh-uh…” Lillian scolded teasingly, tapping a manicured finger against Ron’s chin, “Never break eye contact, or that’s seven years of bad sex.”
Her golden eyes held his captive as she clinked the small glasses together before downing the shot.
Lillian’s face screwed up at the vile taste that left a burning sensation in her chest. Ron had never seen somebody look so regal when pulling such a face.
Yet, Lillian somehow managed to pull it off.
The two sat in comfortable silence, as the music pulsated through their soles and into their souls.
“You still haven’t told me what that wink meant,” Lillian mused, the smile toying with her features again, as she stirred her vodka cranberry with her lissome fingers.
“I think it meant something along the lines of ‘good luck’.” Ron shrugged his shoulders, attempting to pass as some kind of nonchalant asshole who was not at all effected by this woman’s presence. The reality was that he felt like his heart was sweating.
“Good luck for?” She pressed, swinging her legs so she was now completely facing Ron.
“Do you realize how absolutely fucking terrifying it is, speaking to somebody like you?” He looked at her intently, then held his beer to his lips and took a long swig of his drink.
Ron tried to convince himself that the electricity he was feeling was because of the buzz from the alcohol and not because of the close proximity between him and Lillian.
Out of the corner of his eye, he could see that she was inching closer to him, like she was trying to get them as close as they had been before the shots fuzzed their heads up.
Ron turned his face and, once again, the air tasted sweeter.
Her intoxicating scent was filling his nostrils.
He could not place his finger on what exactly she smelled of, but it was a cross between jasmine and oranges and every other good smell that one could ever pinpoint.
Her molten eyes were darting from his eyes to his lips and, each time she sighed, he sucked in all that air through his nose.
He wanted to coat his insides with her. His eyes were also darting from her lips to her eyes, but he could not bring himself to make the first move despite how much every atom in his body was screaming at him to do so.
“Are you going to kiss me?”
“Ron?”
“Ron!” Ron was snapped out of his memory by his friend’s fingers snapping in front of his face.
“Mm-hm?” Ron mumbled, his mind still wandering.
“I asked if you think it has something to do with this whole cuckold thing. Like…do you think they are planning some sort of surprise?” Jonathan sounded hopeful.
Ron wanted to laugh in his face. Cuckolding was almost never about some kind of good surprise. Cuckolding was about making the two of them look like absolute dipshits. That was the point of it all, and that was why they liked it so much.
“Jon, do you have any idea what cuckolding is even about? It is never going to be anything for us. It will be something good for them, at most.” Ron rolled his eyes, standing up and leaving his friend’s office. He needed to get some work done, and this conversation was proving to be fruitless.

“I really think they are going to love it,” Mia mused excitedly, as she brushed her hands passed the lingerie of every color and texture.
“You need to choose something that will make your skin pop,” Lillian said, emphasizing the word ‘pop’ with her eyes and an excited smile.
She could remember the first time—a month into their relationship—when she had bought a slightly fancier pair of panties and how it had made Ron drool with lust.
What had started out as sweet-and-smooth was slowly turning into something lust filled, just the way that Lillian liked it.
She may present as a classy and well-put-together woman but, at the best of times, Lillian loved being on all fours and catering to her man’s every need.
She and Ron had done pretty much everything, but in a way that was laced with vanilla. She was determined to change that.
She wanted to show Ron just how she liked it.
She wanted to show him that he could like it too, and that they did not constantly need to touch one another like the other was glass.
She liked how soft and caring and compassionate Ron was, but she wanted him to lose that side of himself in the bedroom.
She wanted his animalistic lust to consume her, and she was ready to make that happen.
She had made her way to the adult store that she passed by on her way to work every single day.
A lady of Lillian’s caliber wasn’t expected to walk into a dingy place like that adult store.
Naturally, as she always did, she caught the attention of the store clerk as well as a couple of the young teens browsing through the pornographic magazines and the couple that was looking at the different choices of vibrators.
She pretended not to notice their stares.
