Chapter 95
“Pssh. Girl, bye. I’ll definitely be here tomorrow. And I’ll see about going to the park, Cass. Just depends on when I finish braiding hair,” Babi responded.
Sliding my tongue across my teeth, I nodded.
“Girl, these niggas is too thirsty,” Babi’s client tittered, before lifting her phone. “Look at what Big Flip just texted me, after I mentioned that you was doing my hair.”
Babi scanned over whatever was in the phone, before pushing the phone away, and rolling her eyes. “Tell that nigga that it aint happening.”
The girl laughed. “I told him that you wasn’t going.” “And aint. The fuck?” Babi swerved her neck.
The girl sighed. “Girl, I feel you. But if I was you, then I’d at least bleed his ass dry. One thing about Flip, he takes care of his women.”
“Umm umm.” Babi shook her head. “Nah, I’m good.” “Here you go.” Soya handed a plate to me.
“Appreciate ya,” I told her, as I examined the food. The shit looked delicious, and she had all type of add-ons like grilled onions, sour cream and shit. “Is that gauc?”
“Homemade,” Soya smiled, as she copped a squat on the loveseat. “Babi is a damn fool in the kitchen.”
“Is that right?” I eyed Babi, while she avoided eye contact. Acting like a nigga wasn’t just balls deep in her just a few hours prior.
I took a bite of the enchiladas and had to close my eyes. The shit was just that damn good.
“You like it?”
I opened my eyes and realized that she’d finally said some-thing to me. “Yeah, it’s good as fuck. You gotta let the girls taste this.”
She nodded. “You can bring them some plates home.”
