Nervously, I glanced over my shoulder, while my family all thought that shit was funny.

Face would have a stroke, if he walked up on us casually discussing Too Low at any level. Their first meeting would be over before it even started.

With my pregnancy, things were final. I’d stopped avoiding my family and had told everybody about me and Face.

They were all in shock, because they didn’t think that I’d ever leave Too Low.

And none of them had ever encouraged me to do so.
