Chapter 146

Getting up early, I’d left Face snoring in the bed, and got myself together.

I took a nice, hot bath, before fat ironing my hair, and putting on a cute McQueen cropped jacket and leggings, before tipping to the front door.

I was about to open the door and step out, when I heard somebody clearing their throat behind me.

Spinning around, I found Face standing there in his basketball shorts that were inside out.

“What the fuck is you doing?” He questioned, sounding like he had a frog in his throat.

“I was about to run some errands.”

He frowned. “At seven in the morning?”

“Yeah. HEB is open. I wanna grab some groceries. Drop that off. Then I’ll go get my nails and toes done. My eyebrows. Then I got a lash extension appointment at three.”

He narrowed his gaze. “And you had to get up and leave at seven in the morning to do that shit?”

I sighed. “I didn’t have to, no. But I want to.” “Why?” He wanted to know.

“Cause.” I sighed. “Sometimes I get out and run errands to clear my head. It helps me to re-center.”
