Chapter 242 I’ma always love you.

She leaned her head, seemingly in thought.

“I honestly felt like they shouldn’t be included in the decision, but you might be right.

They’re old enough to understand, and I don’t want them resenting me, because I forced them to leave, if that’s not what they want. So, I’m fine with y’all having a talk.”

“Okay…but can I ask you something?” “What’s up?”

“What’s really your issue with Babi? Seriously.”

“Because.” She gulped. “I look at her, and ask what is it about her that could get you to be a man, when I cried and begged you for years.”

“Well, that’s the wrong way to look at it. I had to grow up when you left our daughters with me. So, with her, it was about timing. We just so happened to meet, after I’d done a lot of self-reflecting.”

“So, basically me leaving changed you?” “Yeah. Pretty much.”

“Damn. Well, that’s fucked up. How the fuck does the next bitch benefit from the lesson I gave?”

I locked eyes with her. “You benefit too, Tera. Cause whether we together or not, I’m still yo baby daddy. And I got you, no matter what.”

She sighed, while rolling her eyes to the sky. “You say that.” “Nah, I mean that.”

Her eyes traveled back to mine. “Sometimes if I didn’t know no better, then I’d say that you love me or something.”

“I’ma always love you.”

She nodded. “Me too. Me too…but on that note, I’ma head in this house. Cause I’m realizing a lot of things with this conversation, but I wanna respect the fact that you’re in a relationship. So, see you later, Christian.”

Smiling, I nodded too. “Yeah, see you later.”
