Chapter 2

Chapter Two

GABE

Adam leans over the pool table to take a shot at the green stripe, and I don’t even know if he sank the ball because all I can focus on is his fine, hard ass.

Jesus Christ, my man is hot as fuck.

He’s usually in a suit, or at the very least slacks and a dress shirt because he works a swanky job in a swanky office, but tonight, he’s in jeans that mold over that ass and those thighs perfectly.

His black T-shirt hugs his washboard abs, broad shoulders, and biceps that make me bite my lip on the daily.

Hot. As. Fuck.

He stands and turns to me, lifts his beer to sip it, then shrugs.

“Missed.”

“I wasn’t watching,” I reply, not bothering to hide my lust. There’s no use in trying to hide it. Adam always knows.

With a grin, he saunters over to me and lifts his hand to the side of my neck.

“You okay, babe?”

“Just enjoying the view,” I reply honestly, and his gray eyes heat as they flick down to my mouth.

As I lick my bottom lip, satisfaction bubbles inside me when his jaw ticks, and he leans in to whisper in my ear.

“I’m going to take you home tonight and fuck you so hard and for so long, you won’t be able to walk straight for a fucking month.”

“Promise?”

“You’re such a fucking brat.” But he’s not mad about it as he closes the gap between us and nips at my chin.

I chuckle when he growls, then glance over to see a gorgeous brunette with curves for days in a stellar fucking red dress walking our way.

Adam notices too and flashes her a smile. It’s not unusual for women to flirt with, or hit on, one or both of us. In the past, before our relationship became serious, we shared a couple of women, but we don’t do it anymore.

That doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy flirting a little.

“Well, hi there,” Adam says. “Do you need us to save you from that jerk?”

Earlier, she walked to the jukebox, and a drunk asshole tried to get handsy with her, but she definitely held her own with him. It was impressive to watch.

“I think you know the answer to that,” she replies with a wink. “I don’t usually need saving from much.”

“Good girl,” I murmur. I appreciate a strong woman. She looks familiar, and I tip my head to the side, taking her in, and it hits me. Holy shit. “Billie?”

“Hey, cousin.” She laughs as I lean in to kiss her cheek.

“You look like you’re up to no good, baby doll.”

“What can we do for you?” Adam asks her.

“I honestly came over here so my friends would pay for my dry-cleaning.”

Adam’s eyebrows climb, and I can’t help but laugh. This will be a great story. “Now we need to know everything. Have a seat, beautiful.”

She slides onto a barstool, and she has our undivided attention. Billie’s my younger cousin, my youngest cousin, actually, on my father’s side. I saw her often when we were kids, but then life takes over, and you see family less and less.

She looks fabulous.

“So we’re all women over there, right?”

“A gorgeous group of women.” I nod and glance over her shoulder, taking in the other women at her table. There’s a redhead with delicate features and big green eyes. I recognize Dani, with her pretty dark hair and sweet smile. But it’s that third woman who just about knocks me on my ass.

“And most of those girls are going home to men tonight. My brothers, in fact, but that’s a long story.

Anywho, I’m a little tipsy, and I mentioned that you’re a handsome fella.

” She points at Adam, whose grin widens, and I can’t help but chuckle.

“But then it was pointed out to me that you’re with him”—she points at me, and I smile back at her—“and I said, what if they want a third?”

Holy fuck.

That makes me sputter and cough, and her eyes widen in horror as she hurries to explain.

“I mean, you’re my cousin so that’s not happening in this or any other lifetime, but the girls don’t know that because Alex and Dani haven’t recognized you yet, and I really wanted them to pay for my dry-cleaning. So I was dared to come over here and ask.”

“How much is your dry-cleaning?” I inquire.

“It averages over a thousand dollars a month.”

“Holy shit.” I blink at her in surprise. “Yeah, I’d do it, too.”

“Do you want an answer to your intriguing question?” Adam asks. I know that tone.

He’d one hundred percent fuck Billie, once upon a time. He loves curvy girls. We both do.

And that doesn’t make me jealous at all because I know he’s mine, and vice versa, and we both also love women.

“Wait.” Billie holds up a hand. “What is your name?”

“I’m Adam,” he replies.

“Adam and Gabe. Got it.” My cousin is pretty damn cute when she’s drunk.

“I’m Billie, Gabe’s cousin on my dad’s side.

Nice to meet you, Adam. Okay, you can give me an answer so I can take it back to the table, and we can talk about it.

” Her cheeks have heated, and I know it’s not because of the drinks she’s had.

It’s because Adam is a potent fucking man.

“If you weren’t his cousin, fuck yeah, we’d take you home with us,” Adam says as his gaze travels up and down her body. Would we really? Probably not. But I love the way her cheeks just darkened at Adam’s smooth voice. “We love to share, sweetheart.”

“Shut up.” She rolls her eyes, but Adam leans into her, making her blush even more.

“You’re fucking gorgeous, baby girl.”

I wink at her when she turns her eyes to me.

“You know, that’s the nicest thing anyone has said to me all day,” she says with a sweet little smile. “I’ll go relay the message.”

Adam chuckles and kisses her cheek. “I’m glad we could help with that dry-cleaning bill.”

“So that’s Alex Lexington?” I ask, gesturing to the table with my chin. “I haven’t seen her in over a decade.”

“She’s single,” Billie informs me. Fuck, I always thought Alex was sexy. “Shall I send her over?”

Fuck, Alex is gorgeous. I can see hints of the young girl I once knew, but she’s grown into an unbelievably beautiful woman. For the first time in a really long time, the thought of sharing my man with a woman makes my cock twitch.

I run my tongue over my teeth and glance at Adam, and he nods. “If she’s interested, by all means.”

“Oh, this is fun.” With a quick goodbye, Billie leaves to join her friends, and Adam pins me in his gaze.

“You okay, baby?” Adam’s a flirt. Hell, we both are, but one of the reasons I love him is that he always makes sure I’m comfortable.

That I’m okay. Because I would never share him with another man.

The thought of it makes me obsessively feral.

I’d burn the world to the ground before I’d let any motherfucker touch what’s mine.

“I’m great. You’re going to love Alex.”

He narrows his eyes. “You sure you’re not related to her? You seem to be related to the entire fucking county.”

I snort and shake my head. “Definitely no relation. Just knew her when we were kids because her family was friends with Billie’s family. I’ll draw you a diagram sometime.”

Adam snickers just as Alex saunters our way.

Holy fucking shit.

My cock immediately joins this party as Alex approaches us. She’s in the sexiest pink dress I’ve ever seen, her long dark hair falls in waves around her shoulders, and those bright blue eyes are full of mischief.

“Hello, boys. I’m Alex.”

“I know who you are.” I laugh and pull her in for a hug, loving the way her curves fit against me. “You look fabulous.”

“So do you,” she says with a wink, then turns to Adam. “And so do you.”

“I’m Adam, and the pleasure’s all mine, beautiful.” Adam lifts her hand to his lips, nibbling on her knuckles, and I notice the way she presses her thighs together.

Tonight’s going to be fucking awesome.

“Who’s winning?” Alex asks, gesturing to the pool table.

“We are, sweetheart,” Adam replies, making me grin and Alex laugh out loud. “You have a beautiful laugh.”

“And you are a fucking charmer and a half.” She tilts her head to the side, taking us both in. “Does this whole sexy flirty act typically work for you?”

“Usually, yeah,” I reply. Adam plants his hand on the back of my neck and gives it a squeeze.

“Brat.” His eyes catch mine, and we have a whole silent conversation.

I want her, babe.

I told you you’d like her. It feels different, right?

We don’t even know her, and it doesn’t feel casual.

I’m down for this if you are.

He narrows his eyes. Let’s make this work.

“Do you want to start a new game?” she asks.

“No, we want to take you home,” I reply. To my surprise, she doesn’t look scandalized or even suddenly shy.

She licks those gorgeous rosebud lips and shifts from foot to foot.

“Good because I’m really bad at pool.”

Adam huffs a laugh. “Do you leave bars with strangers often, beautiful girl?”

“Nope.” She shakes her head. “Are you going to murder-death-kill me and leave me in the woods?”

“Not the plan,” I tell her. “You’re safe with us.”

Her eyes skate over my red T-shirt and jeans, then turn to peruse my man, and she grins.

“I’m game.”
