Chapter Thirteen Whip #2

“Yeah, brother, I know how you get. So you kicked someone’s ass. The question is which one of them did you almost murder?”

He chuckles at that, I’m glad he is calming down and finding humor in the situation right now.

“You should’ve seen Hurricane’s face when they started opening their mouths about her. He knew what was coming. I looked at him and asked him if this is how he lets them talk about his wife. Then told him he should be disgusted with himself.”

“Yeah I bet that went over great. The man acts like a victim when it comes to anything Cassidy related. I wish your brother was smarter.”

He laughs again at that, “Yeah, so do I. Cassidy’s a good girl. I liked her a lot when he first brought her home, still to this day. But as you know she thinks we are all fucking man whores. I guess she has good reason to think that. Anyway,

since Skunk pissed me off the most he got most of my frustration. I punched Pitbull in the face and picked Skunk’s stupid ass up off his chair and slammed him on the table. Beer and shit went everywhere, I’m pretty sure it looked like Hurricane pissed himself. But I really don’t give a fuck,

that dumb ass deserves it. I then threatened them that if they talked shit about Lizzy again they’d be pissing out of tubes. Then laid some truths out there about Cassidy.”

“Well shit, I mean I’m not surprised that any of that shit happened. I’m shocked that those assholes still pull that shit. Has anyone found anything on Cassidy’s phone?”

“So here’s what is driving me crazy, I think Cassidy has another phone. I mean we all know Cassidy’s history and her family situation because we read her file, I guess all of us, but her stupid thick skulled husband,

so you would think that there would be more shit on her phone then just the shit to Hurricane and our family.”

“Well yeah, she’d have to be in contact with her grandfather and any employees and shit.”

“That’s the thing, the only thing Wiz could find on that phone history is her contact with anyone in the club. There is nothing else. Nothing to her grandfather, nothing about her business, nothing. I think Cassidy has another phone. A phone that Hurricane knows nothing about.

I mean I wouldn’t blame her because he refuses to believe that she is richer than he is and runs her own business. I swear you and her pulled the short straws when it came to family.”

I shake my head at that because isn’t that the fucking truth.

Cassidy grew up in a well off family, but they did not treat her very well.

I grew up broke as shit and worked my ass off to get anything I wanted growing up.

That and I’d have to hide my money so my parents didn’t use it to buy their next fix.

“But she’s got to have another phone. There is no way around it. My PI and Wiz can’t figure out a number. Whatever number it is, it isn’t something listed. I need to figure out her number.

From what Hurricane said she would have to still be in contact with her and probably talked to her recently if she was saying that Lizzy was still getting stuff about me and Sadie. Which by the fucking way is fucked up.

How in the fuck did Sadie get anything of me and what are these photos and videos she is talking about?”

“Man, I don’t know anything can be edited these days. I also think you may want to check your room and make sure there are no cameras or anything in your room or your house. Who knows what that bitch did. Are you going to confront Sadie?”

“Not yet, I want to find Lizzy first and get all the mother fucking details. I think more happened than just her thinking I was cheating, but I don’t know what. There has to be more to this story and more that we are missing. Lizzy ran scared, if she thought I was cheating, she would’ve been hurt,

yes, but she would’ve confronted me. We had been together since she moved here. We were high school sweethearts. Fuck, Whip, I was going to ask her to be my ol’ lady and to marry me. I don’t know how many people knew that.”

“Do you think that maybe someone found out you were that serious and decided they needed to get rid of her before you took that plunge. Thinking that they would be able to take her spot when she left?”

“I don’t know what the fuck that psycho bitch thought. Before she started coming on to me, I thought we were friends. Lizzy would always warn me and say that Sadie wanted more and if I wasn’t careful she was going to try and take shit too far. Even then Lizzy knew that I wouldn’t cheat,

so pictures and videos would’ve had to be convincing.”

“Yeah, I don’t know. Is there any way that you can get into Hurricane’s house when Cassidy isn’t there and snoop around.”

“I mean I can probably talk to Hurricane and get the security codes and shit. If he won’t do it for me I guess I will have to figure that shit out on my own. Maybe Wiz can help me break into their security system. I’ll keep you posted. When are you coming back, brother?”

“Probably after Peyton has the babies and we move to Briarfield. That’s where I’m going to be living when I come back to Virginia.”

“Well I’m happy for you, Coop. Have you heard any more from your mother and brother since you haven’t given them any money since before Christmas?”

“No, I haven't heard anything, which I guess is a good thing. Wiz has told me that Travis is involved in some shit with some shitty ass people.”

I look over and see Peyton and Knox coming in the room and Peyton walks to the kitchen, I’m sure to grab some snacks. Knox comes over and takes a seat next to me nodding his head.

“Well I’m glad then brother. But hey, I’ve got to go. Dad’s driving Wiz up a wall, I’m going to try and get him to give Wiz a break so that he can eat or fuck whatever he chooses. Keep in touch.”

“Alright, talk to you soon.”

With that we hang up the phone and Knox looks at me and I ask, “What’s going on?”

“Peyton’s nap didn’t help make her feel any better. She’s really uncomfortable. So just a little warning to you, she’s feeling extra bitchy and it seems to be aimed at you. I told her you were down here waiting for us and she went off. I mean damn. I know she hasn’t forgiven you, but shit man.”

He stops talking when Peyton comes over and rolls her eyes when she sees that Knox chose to sit with me. “Why couldn’t we sit with like your mom or something?”

I look around and Knox’s mom is nowhere in sight and I just chuckle to myself.

The girl is not subtle. So I decided to change the subject and discuss the upcoming move we will be making and as we are in the middle of discussing timeframes and all that the clubhouse door opens.

I see a familiar figure walk in and I think I notice them before Peyton does.

Domino stands up and starts towards the door.

“What are you guys doing here? Is everything okay? Why didn’t you tell me you were coming?”
