Chapter 8 Lily
Lily
“Hello, princess!” Wolf-whistling greets me when I open my door and greet Mark. My cheeks go bright pink immediately.
But that doesn’t stop me eyeing up the gorgeous man in front of me.
Mark’s wearing dark blue jeans and a crisp, dark blue button-down that makes his blue eyes glow with an unearthly, beautiful light.
His tan belt showcases his lean waist and hips and he’s got a gray peacoat on with a teal scarf around his strong throat.
The man’s a damn vision of masculinity and my clit throbs in time with my racing heart.
“You are beautiful, princess.” My heart skips a beat under my teal sweater. I pick up my own silvery parka and swing it around my shoulders. Then I wrap a gray scarf around my throat. Slipping into my brown hiking boots, I throw him a smile.
“You’re obviously blind.”
“I’m obviously very smart. I’m about to show the most gorgeous woman in town here around. I’m not sure how I got this lucky but I’m gonna take it!”
“Flatterer.” He shakes his dark head at me.
“Not even. You’re an angel dropped to earth.”
“Does that line work on any woman out there? That’s pretty cheesy,” I laugh.
“I’m not kidding. And I’ve never said that to any other woman. It’s not a line. It’s the damn gospel truth. You glow.”
“Let’s go before you make my blush go nuclear,” I laugh again and he grabs my gloved fingers and tucks them around his arm. I can feel his firm bicep flex under my fingers and my mouth goes desert dry.
“I think I told you before that I have real feelings for you, princess. I don’t think I told you how strong those feelings are. I’d do damn near anything for you.”
I can’t breathe. Can’t think. This gorgeous man thinks he has real feelings for me. Is that possible?
I search down inside myself and I can’t help but admit that I more than like the guy. I love him. I’ve never felt this way before.
I’d do anything for him too. He’s so much more than I ever thought I’d get in this life.
All I have to do is let myself relax and lose myself in how he makes me feel.
That’s a tall order but I want to try.
“I feel things for you too, Mark.”
He turns to smile at me and it’s the most unguarded, happy smile I’ve seen from him so far.
“Then let’s get to know each other better, princess. And have a little fun!”
Laughing, I let him drag me down the sidewalk of Valentine. The shops are still lit up and the whole town seems like it’s turned out to have fun on the mild, snowy night.
Music blares from a band by a large open area and Mark turns to me with a raised brow and a hip swish that makes my mouth water and my cheeks flush.
“You wanna salsa, princess?”
“I don’t know how to do that,” I protest.
But he doesn’t let me go. Instead, he drags me into the crowd and we come out on a makeshift dance stage. His hips start to twist and his hands gently hold onto me. “Just follow my lead. I’ve got you, princess.”
The next thing I know, we’re swishing, twirling and our hips are swaying left and right as he gently leads me through the high-energy dance.
Stars blink above us and the crisp night air heats with the feel of magic and entwined bodies moving around us. It’s a fantasy land of hot and sexy men and laughing women and it’s so fun, even with outerwear on that I’m laughing as he twirls me around.
Another dancer trips into me and I slam into his chest and I stop laughing. My heart races and my breath stops.
And then, his dark head bends and his soft, yet firm lips come down on mine and the whole world disappears in that strange hunger that hits me every time he’s near.
His hands come up to caress my face and hold me steady while he annihilates my defenses. His lips move and his head dips again and again. Sipping, swirling and licking my lips he claims me for eternity.
I’ll never forget this moment. I’ll be old and gray and still thinking about this moment in time. A thousand people milling around us and yet it feels like we’re cloistered from them and wrapped up in our own little bubble.
Until a few wolf whistles and clapping brings his head up and he glares around us before he turns back to me and I get lost in the cool blue of his eyes, his pupils blown to huge pools. He searches my eyes and groans.
“You’re so damn tempting, princess. Every damn bit of you just drives me so crazy that I can’t think when you’re around.
All I can do is feel.” His hand comes down and caresses my neck, rubbing in circles until my bones feel like jelly.
His breath caresses my cheek as he leans in.
“You smell like all my favorite desserts all rolled into one. I could devour you in one sitting.”
My legs give out and it’s a damn good thing that his arm is around me because I’d for sure land on my ass if he wasn’t.
“Why don’t you?” I ask breathlessly, stunned at how brazen I’m being. But for this man? I think I would take out a billboard in Times Square begging for him.
He groans and his forehead rests on mine, his warm breath fanning out to meet with mine in a fog of desperation. “Fuck, I’d give anything to do that, princess. But I don’t want to rush you. You mean too much to me.”
Shaking my head, I lean into him, my hands coming up around his waist and gripping him like he’s my salvation. “Mark, I want you. I don’t care that it’s soon. I don’t care that it might just be one time. I just need you,” I whimper breathlessly.
He mutters in an angry voice, “that is not what this is. This is forever, Lily. If I take you home and make love to you, that’s what it is. Love. I already know that I love you. I already know that no woman will ever replace you. You’re it for me.”
I want to believe him. I really do. But what if the next time that I’m sick, he has to miss something to take care of me? Is he going to regret tying himself to someone like me?
But right now? I don’t care. I want. That’s all I know.
“Mark. Please,” I whimper desperately, my lips lifted, seeking his touch, his taste.
His dark head dips and he sighs as he claims my lips again, his breath meeting mine in an instant that feels fated.
“I love you, princess.”
“Love you too, Mark. Please. Take me home.”
Nodding his head, his eyes search mine, the blue burning into my soul. “You can stop me at any time, Lily. I would never push you further than you want to go.”
“I know, Mark.” And I do. This man is the most respectful man I’ve ever seen.
The walk home seems to take forever but it’s mere minutes in the eternity we have. At least for now.
He leads me inside and upstairs, our steps halting and dropping away as his hands slip into my jeans and tug at my clothing. His lips drain me dry as we bounce off wall after wall, thudding and grunting as we find our way, blind to anything but each other.
“Mark,” I groan as his hand cups my sex and grinds down, my pussy clenching wildly on the promises he’s giving.
“I’ve got you, Lily. I’ll always have you.
” We blindly find the steps and the next thing I know I’m sprawled on them, under him and he’s yanking desperately at my jeans like a wild man.
My boots go flying and his hands push my thighs apart.
Cool air hits my overheated skin and my hips grind and bump in an uneven rhythm.
My head is above my hips and his head parts my legs and then his mouth is on my damp panties and I’m writhing. Demanding. Praying for him.
“Don’t stop,” I pant, my hands tunneling into his silky dark hair and holding him tight to my lower body. I tug and pull and he grunts but I have no control over him. He’s got me just where he wants me.
Just where I need him.
“I need you. I ache for you, Mark.” His hands come up and pull at my nipples inside my sweater and bra. My belly feels like molten lava. Desire rushes inside me, bubbling in my veins and incinerating the little voice inside my head that says this might be a mistake.
He growls and then rips my panties clean off my body in one giant jerk that almost sends both of us careening down the steps. Then, heat. Wet heat. His mouth closes on my pussy and his tongue dives inside my slick folds and it’s like my whole body goes up in flames.
“Mark!” I screech.
He doesn’t stop. If anything, my voice seems to ratchet up his actions as he licks and suckles and rakes his teeth over my clit until I’m lost in the crazy tide of lust and hunger washing over me.
Caressing my nerves and driving my own hunger into the endless abyss.
Screaming, thrashing and crying, I come apart under him, my juices spilling out of me and disappearing on his busy tongue as he drinks every last drop of my juices.
My whole body finally, slowly, comes back to earth, my muscles limp noodles that barely support my body. Shaking, I moan and close my eyes.
But in mere seconds, his breath washes over my lips as he gently licks and sucks them into his mouth.
“I love how you taste, princess. Love it so much. You’re my new favorite dessert. I could eat you out every damn night.”
My pussy clenches in a last gasp of lust and I giggle, shattered. Undone.
My eyes open to the smirky, cocky smile on his gorgeous face and I groan, slapping my hand over my face. “Lord, you’re gonna get all cocky about this, aren’t you?”
His grin widens and he leans over me and whispers, “you mean that I ate you out until you screamed my name? Yeah, yeah, I am.”
My head falls back and I groan but I barely get the sound out before I’m flying through the air and landing on solid muscle.
My breath whooshes out of me as my head bounces on a crazy man’s back.
