We all came home, hearts warm and content after Adya's soulful birthday. As soon as we dropped onto the plush sofas, I could feel the peace in the air, like a blanket wrapped around our entire family.
I slipped into the kitchen and brought everyone glasses of fresh juice, placing them down one by one. I handed Arya bhabhi a glass of warm milk, and as expected, she gave me a full-blown pout.
"Milk again, Katha?" she groaned, eyes narrowing in mock irritation.
I smiled sweetly, brushing her hair behind her ear. "Yes, Queen Arya. You're five months pregnant, and this royal baby inside needs calcium, not cola."
She sighed dramatically but drank, grumbling. "One day, I'll get revenge for all this milk."
"Save it for after labor," I smirked.
I plopped next to Datta, who immediately pulled me close, his arm wrapping around my waist. My head rested on his shoulder, his thumb gently caressing my arm in small circles.
Suddenly, Adya cleared her throat.
"Bhaiya..." she began, her tone awkward, unsure. We all turned toward her, Datta especially, his expression instantly shifting to alertness.
"What happened, bacha?" Datta asked, voice soft but taut.
Adya played with her fingers. "I... I'm going to Shiva Agnivanshi's home."
A still silence dropped over the room.
My breath caught, and I felt Datta's grip on my hand tighten. He was still, face unreadable, but I could feel his anger simmering beneath that calm.
I gently caressed the back of his hand, grounding him.
Adya continued. "He... he has some of Ma's last things. I can't let his second b-" she cut herself but her eyes blazed.
"Adya!" I said gently but firmly. "Whatever it is... she's still your stepmother. Don't call her that."
Adya puffed her cheeks and nodded, slightly pouting. "Fine. But I won't let his second wife or her children keep what belongs to my mother. I'm going to get them back."
Datta looked at her silently for what felt like forever. Then, slowly, he stood up.
He walked over to her and pulled her into a tight hug. His hand rested protectively on her head. "Just... be careful, bacha. Hmm?" he whispered. "Take Gyan. Don't go alone."
"I will, bhaiya," Adya whispered, holding him tight.
Gyan bhaiya walked over to me, giving me a quick hug. "Don't worry, my panther," he said softly. "I'll bring your sherni back safe."
"You better," I whispered back, hugging him tight. He kissed my head like always.
Adya came and hugged me next, her voice soft in my ear. "Love you, Katha Bhabhi."
"Always, meri jaan," I replied.
Then she hugged Arya bhabhi, who kissed her cheek. "Get what you need, okay? And if you need me to slap anyone, I'm just a call away."
Adya laughed and waved, and just like that-they were off.
After a little while, papa and my brothers started to get up as well.
"So soon?" I asked, half-pouting.
Papa chuckled, coming to me first. He pulled me into a bone-crushing hug. "My sher puttar has grown into such a fierce lioness," he said. "But she'll always be her papa's little girl."
I smiled, swallowing the lump in my throat. "Always, papa."
Bhairava bhaiya hugged me next, rubbing my back. "Don't worry about Adya. She's strong. And she has Gyan. You? You focus on being the queen."
"Bhaiya," I said, half-laughing, "you're the one who made me the queen."
"Damn right I did," he said, kissing my head.
Dyan bhaiya came forward, no words, just a solid, grounding hug. When he stepped back, he mumbled, "If Shiva says anything, I'll break his teeth."
I snorted. "Please don't. Not yet."
Next, my ladla Utsav jumped into my arms like he was five again. "You're not gonna miss me, are you?"
"I already do," I replied, squishing his cheeks. "Behave in college."
"Never," he grinned. "That's your legacy in me, di."
I ruffled his hair.
Lastly, Arya bhabhi hugged me, her hands cupping my face. "You looked so happy today, Katha. Stay like this... always."
"With you all around, how could I not?" I smiled.
They all waved, laughing and teasing as they left. The house felt quieter, but not lonely.
I looked at Datta, who was already staring at me with something unreadable in his eyes.
"Now what, Mr. Agnivanshi?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
He smirked. "Now, Mrs. Agnivanshi... we enjoy the peace."
He pulled me back into his arms, and we melted into the comfort of our love, wrapped in memories, hope, and the unshakable strength of family.
It was evening, and the golden glow of the setting sun filled our home with a warm hush. The house, once bustling with laughter and voices, was now calm, wrapped in a soft silence that only we remained to enjoy.
Datta looked at me-intensely, possessively-and without a word, bent down and scooped me up into his arms. I gasped, but I didn't protest. His eyes were on mine, holding me like I was the only thing in this world worth carrying.
"Sheraa is in the garden, right?" he asked, voice low.
"Yes," I nodded. "Fast asleep near the jasmine tree."
"Good," he said, smirking.
He pushed open the door to our bedroom and carried me inside like I was made of spun glass and fire. The moment he stepped in, he kicked the door shut behind him, and with a smooth motion, he threw me on the bed gently-just enough to make me gasp, make my heart race.
He hovered over me, eyes dark, lips slightly parted.
"Now it's just us," he whispered, his voice a deep, seductive murmur that made my skin erupt in goosebumps.
"Shameless," I whispered back, blushing hard, biting my lower lip to hide the smile tugging at the corners.
He leaned closer, breath fanning my face. "And you love this shameless man, Sunshine."
And then, he kissed me- fiercely, hungrily, with the kind of passion that claimed every breath I had. I kissed him back with the same fire, surrendering everything I was to him.
I patted his chest as I was breathless and he left my lips immediately but attacked my neck I moaned as he bit and nibbled on my sensitive skin, "D-Datta" and he continued his assault on my neck, Jaw, and collar bone.
He took my saree in his hands and held his hand "Dont you dare datta" and he looked at me desperately "why not???"
"Your not tearing this saree of mine its a gift from my Bhairava bhaiya" i hissed and he raise his hands in surrender sulking.
We both got undressed and he pushed me on bed again "how many times I see you like this I can't get enough of you" he whispered seductively and attacked my right nipple with his mouth and sucked them hard and hungrily and kneaded my left breast with his big tattooed hand, I ached my back and moaned "D-Datta slow d-down your too ahh rough" but he dint listen and gave equal attention on both my breasts.
He positioned himself between my leg and thrusted inside me in one go and I gasped and held his shoulder "Da-Dattaaa ahhh" I moaned
He thrusted too hard and fast inside me like ah I dont know my mind is blanking up the way he is making love with me today.
"Your being ahh rough Datta" I whimper moaned
His mouth was on my neck and one hand was on my thigh and other was on my hip as he thrusted hard and rough "I'm being real sunshine" he whispered grunting
Then I knew one thing that this is what it looks like when a man actually wants you
I was moaning mess under him, "ah ahhh Datta yes"
"You like dont you when I make love with you like this hmm tell me sunshine" he whispered and I nodded vigorously.
He chuckled and thrusted deeper and faster "shit shit shit Datta I'm gonnaa-"
He increased his speed and i came on his cock yelling his name.
He too came inside me after 2-3 strokes, grunting as his hips shuddered as he filled me up.
But I knew very well he wanted more he was not done with me not yet and I was right his semi hard cock was rock hard again and he put my both legs on his shoulders.
He made love to me like he always did-fiercely, tenderly, completely. His hands knew every inch of my skin, his lips burned paths down my soul. He didn't let me go, not even for a second, until I was begging him-pleading-to stop, unable to take anymore of his wild love.
We didn't even realize when evening turned into midnight. The stars had risen, the moon was high, and the clock ticked past three-but for us, time didn't exist.
It was just me, and him, and the fire that always burned between our hearts.
