Chapter Eight — Alex
We drive home in silence, which scares me and excites me. I wonder if he’s quiet on purpose. I wonder if he knows that by not saying anything, I’ll be dreaming up scenarios of what he has planned for me, which is a punishment all on its own.
I think we both know that the anticipation is a turn-on for both of us. What does he have in store for me? The thought loops in my head the entire ride. I hate it and love it at the same time.
He looks over at me and smirks. Sometimes it feels like he can read my mind.
“Wondering what I have planned for your punishment, little girl?” he asks.
I shrug, and he laughs. “I know you are sweetheart. Don’t worry, you’ll find out soon enough.”
