Chapter 70

"Victoria." Henry came back and saw this scene. His expression turned gloomy. "He is your son. As his mother, is it right for you to treat him like this?"

Victoria's expression was serious. "It's wrong for him to hit Emma. Since you said I'm his mother, am I not allowed to educate him?"

Henry frowned and looked at Emma in Victoria's arms. Emma was obviously frightened. Her face was pale, and there were fear in her eyes.

He then looked at Jude. "Jude, Apologize."

Jude's body trembled slightly, and his hands clenched into fists. Then, he said reluctantly, "I'm sorry."

With that, he jumped off the chair and ran out of the fast food restaurant.

Henry followed him immediately. But before leaving, he looked at Victoria with a highly displeased look.

Victoria felt her heart being held by someone, and the pain made her unable to breathe.

"Ms. Victoria, I'm fine." Emma, in Victoria's arms, said in a soft voice, "Is that kid your son?"

Victoria was helpless and said, "Yes."

Emma said, "Then he must be your baby, right?"

Victoria answered, "He was indeed my baby before."

Seeing that Victoria's expression was not right, Emma picked up the fries and handed them to Victoria once again.

However, thinking of what Jude had said, she retracted her hand.

Victoria took them and said, "I like fries. Can we eat together?"

"Yes." Emma became happy again, picking up the fries and feeding Victoria.

Jude ran a long distance in one breath but was stopped by the bodyguard.

He was brought back to Henry and didn't even dare to look up at Henry's cold face.

"Dad, I was wrong," said Jude.

Jude's voice was childish and a little choked.

"Look up." Henry looked down at Jude, his low voice tinged with a hint of coldness.

Jude was scared and raised his head with a pale face.

"Why did you hit her?" questioned Henry in a deep voice.

Jude's body trembled before he said, "She wanted to give my mom fries, but my mom never eats fries. They are junk food."

"Then you can say that instead of hitting her." Henry's tone was stern. "After going home, practice the piano for an extra hour."

"I see," said Jude.

"Since you want your mother, why don't you tell her?" asked Henry once again.

Jude pressed his lips together, a bit of stubbornness in his eyes. "She was the first one to say that she doesn't want me and doesn't like me."

He had always remembered this incident.

Jude thought, "My mom would never say such things. In fact, if she saw that I was a little unhappy, she would try her best to coax me".

Henry's voice sounded again. "If you want her, go for her.

If you stand still, no one will come back to you.

Jude, she is your mother, your elder, not your servant.

If you do something wrong or say something wrong, apologize to her.

Don't take her love and pampering for granted.

If you make her sad, she will not want you anymore. "

Jude looked up. "Just like now?"

Henry reached out and caressed his head, saying, "She has lost her memory now.

She doesn't remember the years you spent together and her feelings for you.

You should take advantage of this time and make her like you.

When she recovers her memory, she won't mind your bad behavior during this period. "

Jude thought, "Is that so? Is this really possible? But I have sworn before that I would make her beg me.

However, I was furious and jealous when I saw that the little girl received her tenderness and love. She's my mother, and I'm her only son."

Henry stared at Jude. "Do you know what to do?"

Jude nodded vigorously. "Yes."

Without anyone's disturbing, Victoria's suffocating and painful feelings finally disappeared.

After eating the burger, she accompanied Emma to the amusement park for a while. Emma soon forgot about the previous unpleasantness. When she got home, she took a shower and went to bed.

Victoria returned to her room and made a video call to Evie, telling her what had happened.

After listening, Evie kept silent for a while before saying, "Victoria, don't be fooled by her."

"What?" Victoria was stunned for a moment when she heard this. "What do you mean?"

Evie sighed, "My daughter is good at everything and even acting. Have you checked her hand? Is it injured? Or a little red?"

Victoria shook her head. "No."

"That's right." Evie said, "She is smart. When she saw Jude and his cold behavior, she must have guessed that your relationship was unusual. So she pretended to cry on purpose."

Victoria finally reacted and immediately felt helpless. "Is Emma so cunning?"

"You can put it this way." Evie said, "You reprimanded Jude so harshly. That brat must be feeling really bad, right?"

Victoria shook her head. "I don't know. They left quickly."

Evie said, "When I get back, I will ask Emma to apologize to him."

"Don't." Victoria shook her head once again. "He does have hostility towards Emma. Besides, it was wrong for him to hit Emma. He must be taught a lesson."

Evie looked at her and suddenly asked, "Victoria, you can't bear to let go, right?"
