Chapter 131

Henry showed no expression as he said, "Stop asking."

"Okay." Barrell didn't ask any more questions. He thought, "Henry must have his reasons for doing this."

Finishing the barbecue, Victoria and the others went to Night Club.

Evie coaxed Emma to sleep first and hired babysitter to look after her. Then, she went straight downstairs to the box.

The drinks, snacks, and fruits were already laid out. Evie looked at them mysteriously and said, "I have a new group of men here. Do you want to see them?"

"Who are they?" asked Victoria with a puzzled look, holding the microphone.

Evie said helplessly, "You're already married. How come you don't know anything? They are handsome men who are 6 feet tall and of all types."

Victoria was helpless. "Then just say it directly. Call them in. I should enjoy myself now."

Evie was amused by her words and immediately sent a message to someone. After a while, the door of the box was pushed open, and five tall and handsome men walked in.

Pointing at Victoria, Evie said, "Tonight, whoever makes her happy, I will double your salary."

Hearing that, the handsome guys immediately surrounded Victoria.

Victoria was shocked, saying, "Hey, wait..."

She thought, "Is it so sudden?"

"Do you like strawberries?" A beautiful boy picked up a strawberry and put it to her lips.

Before Victoria could respond to him, another man handed her a glass of drink. "Do you want to play a game? If I lose, you can do whatever you want to me." It was a strong man with an aggressive aura this time.

Hesitating for a moment, Victoria said, "I think you two are a good match."

Everyone felt speechless at her words.

Diana frowned and said to Evie, "Don't go too far. She is still Henry's wife. If it gets out that she is playing with handsome guys, what do you think going to happen?"

Evie hesitated for a moment, asking, "How about doing it on the sly?"

Diana was speechless and didn't know what to say for a moment.

Those handsome guys heard Diana's words and moved away from Victoria. One of them said to Evie, "Ms. Clarke, don't do that. We are here to make money, not to court death."

Evie was helpless and waved her hand. "You're such cowards. Go ahead."

These guys were here for less than five minutes and then left in a hurry, and Victoria hadn't felt anything. She thought, "The happiness is too short–lived."

Evie said, "Don't blame me. Do you remember the last time? That bastard is really evil. I don't want to be blackmailed by him."

Victoria fell silent for a moment and then picked up the microphone again. "Okay, let me sing a song for you."

"Okay." Evie applauded excitedly.

Victoria was singing with great pleasure. Just as she was about to sing the high note, the door of the box was pushed open once again.

Evie immediately stood up. "Hello. Who are you?"

Diana said, "Mr. Caldwell, are you here to find Victoria?"

With that, she walked to Victoria and pulled her, saying, "Stop singing. Jayce is here."

"What?" Victoria had drunk a little, and her cheeks were slightly flushed. Hearing this, she turned and met Jayce's eyes. The mole under his eye was seductive, but his handsome face had no expression.

"Why are you here?" asked Victoria, blinking in confusion.

Walking up to her silently and staring at her, Jayce said, "Your injury has healed. But you didn't tell me again."

"What?" Victoria tilted her head in confusion, asking, "Why should I tell you?"

Hearing her words, Jayce became even more gloomy. He just stared at her, and time seemed to freeze.

Even the drunkest person would be creeped out by such a stare. Victoria asked hesitantly, "Mr. Caldwell, is that why you're here all of a sudden?"

Coming closer to Diana, Evie asked in a low voice, "What's going on?"

The lights in the box were dimmed, and the video on the big screen played on mute.

The light was projected on Jayce and Charlotte.

One of them was a drunken and confused beauty, and the other was handsome and indifferent.Anyone who looked at them would feel that the relationship between them was not ordinary.

Diana looked cold and said calmly, "That's Jayce, Sir Caldwell's grandson. Victoria cured Sir Caldwell's insomnia. Then, Sir Caldwell said that Jayce had severe depression and asked if Victoria could help relieve it. Victoria tried it, and it seems to be effective."

Evie nodded slowly and said, "Depression is not easy to treat. If it is serious, he needs to be hospitalized for treatment. But I think he seems to be okay."

"I don't know," said Diana.

Looking at his handsome face, Evie originally wanted Jayce and Victoria to be together. But thinking of Jayce's mental state, she gave up.

She walked over and smiled, "Mr. Caldwell, are you here to talk to Victoria about the fragrance? How about tomorrow? Victoria is drunk today."

Jayce ignored her and just stared at Victoria, a hint of resentment in his eyes.

Henry had called Jayce out to drink. Jayce didn't like drinking. But Victoria lived in Hardwick Villa, and Henry was with her. Jayce inexplicably wanted to know how Victoria was doing, so he came there.

However, Henry had been playing snooker with Barrett and didn't talk about Victoria at all. Jayce felt bored, so he got up and left. But he hadn't expected to see her.

Seeing Victoria had no problem walking and had a relaxed smile, he suddenly felt angry.

Jayce thought, "Victoria didn't tell me when she was discharged from the hospital, and she didn't tell me when she recovered from her injuries. She is so bad."

He couldn't figure it out, so he came over to question her.

However, looking at Victoria's flushed face and her drunken eyes, he felt she was a little cute.

Victoria was holding the microphone, her body shaking a little, and looked at him with confusion.

At that moment, Jayce felt his heart seem to be hit by something, and an inexplicable emotion spread quickly.

Jayce felt that the emotion was strange, and he was curious and confused.Following the impulse, he approached her.

However, at that moment, Evie came over and disrupted Jayce's thoughts. The feeling in his heart also receded like the tide.

Blinking her misty eyes, Victoria asked, "Have you run out of fragrance? So fast? Wait a minute. I'll go home and get it for you. I still have some at home."

With that, she walked outside. However, as the alcohol took effect, her consciousness became blurry, and she almost fell.

Jayce immediately supported her. "You are drunk."

"No." Victoria waved her hand and said with a smile, "I can still drink."

She tried to stand up straight, but things were spinning before her eyes.

Evie and Diana came over and supported her. Evie said to Jayce, "Mr. Caldwell, we have to send her back now. If you have anything to do, come find her tomorrow."

Jayce said, "Let me take you there."

Evie waved her hand quickly. "No need. I have a driver. We can send her home."

"Let me take you there." Jayce was extraordinarily stubborn and had to do what he believed in.

Diana nodded, saying, "Then thank you, Mr. Caldwell."

They helped Victoria out of the box and got into the car. Delia sat in the driver's seat, and Jayce sat in the passenger seat.

"Can you take us to Starlight Terrace, please!" said Diana.

Suddenly, Jayce said to Delia, "Go buy a house at Starlight Terrace tomorrow."

Delia was startled, asking, "Mr. Caldwell, are you going to live in Starlight Terrace?"
