Chapter 194

Henry irritably tugged at his tie, his handsome face cold and distant, and walked straight into the villa.

At that moment, Luke hurried inside, excitedly announcing, "He's here, he's here! Mr. Harrison is here!"

Camille's tense expression immediately relaxed, and she smiled at Sarah, gently patting her hair. "Sarah, Henry still loves you. You only had to make one phone call, and he came right away."

Sarah lowered her head shyly and then said, "Mom, go into the room quickly. I want to give him a surprise!"

"Okay!" Camille gestured for Luke and the servants to follow her, heading to the room.

Sarah glanced at the living room she had carefully decorated, a smile curving her lips.

Henry had once told her that he liked watching her dance.

Today, she was going to show him her best side, to let him know that she was no worse than Victoria.

Evie suddenly grabbed Victoria with a mocking smile. "Come on, let's go inside and see what kind of trick that woman is pulling."

Victoria frowned and said, "I'm not interested."

But Pete spoke up, "Let's go in. I'm ready to record everything and collect evidence of his affair. It'll come in handy for the divorce case later."

Victoria was at a loss for words. In the end, they pushed her into the villa.

Henry had already reached the entrance. The door was slightly ajar, and he furrowed his brow, thinking, "Where is everyone? Didn't Sarah say she was hurt? Why is it so quiet?"

He pushed the door open, and as soon as he stepped inside, the overhead lights flickered on, casting beams of light directly onto the stage set up in the center of the living room.

Sarah, dressed in an exquisite dance costume, began to move with the rhythm of the suddenly blaring music.

Upon seeing this scene, Henry's face immediately darkened.

Every time Sarah spun, she would glance at him with a flirtatious look, her limbs gracefully unfolding. But as soon as she saw the cold, indifferent expression on the man's face, her heart skipped a beat.

"Did he get angry?" she thought. She had lied, telling him she was hurt, just to get him here. Was he upset about it?

Sarah calmed herself down and did her best to perform, showing off the softness and beauty of the dance.

Finally, the dance came to an end.

She stood in the spotlight, her cheeks slightly flushed, gazing at him with a shy expression.

"Woah!" Just as Sarah was about to speak, a voice filled with mockery suddenly came from the doorway.

A few people walked in.

Evie was at the front, her arms crossed over her chest as she looked at her with blatant disdain. "Why are you acting like a stripper to win favor? He's not even divorced yet, and you're pulling out dirty tricks. Why not just seduce him directly while you're at it?"

Behind her, Victoria followed.

Her face was cold and indifferent, her aura sharp and professional in a white suit.

Then came Sebastian, his brow furrowed as he walked in, scolding, "What are you doing? Intentionally seducing a married man? How shameless!"

Following them was a person she didn't recognize, holding a phone up and recording of her.

Sarah's eyes widened in disbelief. "You... you guys? What are you doing here?"

Evie smirked, "If we hadn't come, how else would we get to see the ballerina, adored by all her fans, using such methods? You really are something, huh?"

She turned to look at Pete. "Did you get it all recorded?"

"Yeah, it's all recorded," Pete replied calmly.

Evie nodded with satisfaction. "Great, post it online later so that her fans can get an eyeful."

Sarah's face paled as panic overtook her. "No, you can't do this!"

Sarah jumped down from the makeshift stage, glaring at them with obvious annoyance. "Who said you could come in? I only invited Henry."

She turned to Henry, who hadn't said a word and stepped closer. "Henry, did you like my dance?"

"Sarah, do you have a death wish?" Henry's first words sent chills down everyone's spine. Sarah actually flinched.

"Didn't I warn you?" Henry said slowly, his voice deadly calm. "Or did you think my warnings were just empty threats?"

Sarah looked terrified. She shook her head frantically. "No, that's not it. I wasn't trying to trick you, Henry. This is my family reunion banquet today. Why didn't you come? I sent you an invitation. How could you just not show up?"

"You seem to be confused about something." Henry's eyes were ice–cold as he looked at her, a mocking smile crossing his face. "Now that you're a Hardwick, not a Miller anymore, why would I need to look after you anymore?"

Sarah's face went ghost pale at his words.

She thought, "How could this be happening? Is Henry really washing his hands of me? Is he going to ignore my sister's dying wish?

No, if he is willing to throw even that away, I will have no right to stand by his side anymore."

"Henry, I'm sorry. I know I messed up," Sarah pleaded, desperately trying to earn his forgiveness.

Meanwhile, Evie's brows furrowed as she leaned in close to Victoria's ear. "Something feels off here."

Victoria had noticed it, too. Henry was clearly fed up with Sarah. And from their conversation, it seemed like there was more to the story.

"You think there's something going on that we don't know about?" Evie mused, rubbing her chin thoughtfully.

Victoria's eyes dropped to the floor. "I couldn't care less."

With that, she turned to leave.

"Hey, Victoria, wait up! I'm not done watching this drama unfold," Evie called out, slightly exasperated. Would it kill her to stick around until things played out?

"Victoria!" A furious shout suddenly rang out from upstairs.

Camille came storming down, making a beeline for Victoria. She grabbed her arm, eyes blazing with anger. "You've got some nerve showing up here. Do you know what you've done today?

Are you trying to make my life miserable on purpose? I can't believe I raised such an ungrateful brat."

Victoria was caught off guard by Camille's sudden outburst. "What are you even talking about?" she asked with a bemused look.

Camille swung her hand toward Victoria's face. "Stop playing dumb! You're driving me crazy. I'm going to teach you a lesson today."

But this time, her slap didn't connect.

Victoria caught her wrist, her eyes turning cold. She shoved Camille's hand away. "Mrs. Hardwick, if you forgot to take your meds, deal with that. Don't come here acting crazy. Just because you're losing, it doesn't mean I'm going to let you walk all over me."

"You... you ungrateful little beast! How dare you talk to me like that? I'm your mother!" Camille's face turned ashen as she stumbled backward, nearly falling.

Victoria let out a cold laugh. "Oh, really? Isn't Sarah your daughter? We're not even blood–related, so what kind of mother are you supposed to be to me?"

"I raised you for over twenty years. Even a dog would show more gratitude by wagging its tail.

But you? You're worse than an animal. It's bad enough that you do not respect me, but you keep causing me nothing but trouble.

If I'd known you'd turn out like this, I should have gotten rid of you when I had the chance. "

Camille's words grew nastier by the second as she hurled every vicious insult she could think of at Victoria.
