The Cloaked Man

“ S o you let her get away once again?” she snaps, and I shake my head, bowing to her.

“No, she’s being protected. She’s removed her necklace, and every time we get close, something goes wrong. I need a trap. I need to get her away from the others. I need her alone,” I say, anger flashing through my body, making me sweat.

“Twenty years. TWENTY FUCKING YEARS! I want her head on a spike. If you can’t get to her, kill the Grandmother. I want Shine to suffer before we end her. Go! Now!” The mother of my son, my only child, screams, and I bow once more.

I don’t want to do what comes next, but if I do not, she’ll kill my son. Her son.

Her evil knows no bounds.
