Epilogue

One Year Later

" A re you ready?" I ask as I step into the bridal suite at Rutherford Ranch. Today, my little sister is the first to get married at the newly renovated wedding venue. This was Brynn's idea, and it is absolutely amazing. The ranch has branched out in the last year. It is now a wedding destination, pulling people in from all across the state.

"Yes. I am ready. I never thought I would be getting married again, but here we are." Callie looks down at her ivory gown, it is form-fitting and clings to her baby bump.

"As long as you are happy." I bend to kiss her cheek. "Let's go. Brynn says it is time." We step out of the suite and walk down the short hallway that will take us to the ceremony venue. I see Brynn and Whitney standing at the closed doors with Millie. Millie is wearing a similar dress to Brynn and Whit's, but not as grown up.

"I'm ready Mommy, let's go marry Daddy." Millie takes her mom's hand and squeezes it tight. "I will be sure he knows you are coming after me." Callie laughs and Whit reaches for Millie.

"Let's go, girl. We don't want to keep him waiting." The music starts and Millie starts down the aisle. We tried to teach her to go slow in rehearsal, but by the time she lays eyes on him, she takes off in a run.

I hear his deep chuckle bounce off the barn walls. "I knew she wouldn't walk."

"She was so excited. She has been awake since four this morning, she will crash out soon."

"Don't forget she is coming home with us tonight." I straighten and Callie takes my offered arm as Whitney and Brynn make their way down the aisle. It isn't long before Callie and I are walking down the aisle.

It is my honor to give her away to one of the best men I know. He is protective, sweet, loving, and is wrapped around Millie's little finger. I take my part in giving my little sister away very seriously.

The ceremony and reception go off without any issues. I walk up to my beautiful firecracker, her curly hair is pinned back on one side, leaving the perfect opening on her neck for my lips. "Can I have this dance?"

"Thought you'd never ask, Cowboy. "

I lead Brynn to the dance floor and hold her close. I kiss her neck and shoulder, admiring the way she hums underneath my lips. "This will be us one day."

"Is that so?"

"Yes. You can bet on it, Firecracker." We continue to dance, our bodies as close as they can get. I look around in awe at the transformation my girl has done. "This place is beautiful."

"Thank you. Callie seems happy with everything, although she was not hard to please. She will probably be the easiest bride I ever work with," Brynn laughs and twines her fingers in the hair at the nape of my neck.

"I love you. We are taking Millie home with us tonight, to give the newlyweds some privacy." I cringe just thinking about it. "Not that they need any privacy; she is already pregnant."

Brynn laughs at my disgusted expression. "Don't think about it."

I move us to the music, still swaying as the song changes from a slow one to one with more tempo. "Let's get out of here, Firecracker."

We make our way around the room, telling the bride and groom congrats and giving everyone our love. I stop and pick up Millie, who is passed out on a couch in the sitting area by the bar. "This girl has had one exciting day. "

"She was awake super early this morning. Told her she was too used to cowboy time," Brynn laughs as she opens the truck door, and I get Millie buckled in.

When we get home, I take Millie straight to bed and get her situated. "Goodnight, sweet girl. I love you."

I hear a faint, "love you," as I close the door behind me.

When I walk into our bedroom, Brynn is standing in our master bathroom naked. The sight of her body always ignites a fire deep inside. "How about I help you get cleaned up?"

I turn the shower on and wait for the water to warm before stepping under the spray and pulling her inside the large, tiled shower. Our little cottage has been transformed into an oasis fit for a queen. As I lather Brynn's body, I pay extra attention to her chest and thighs.

I drop to my knees and cleanse between her legs. When she is all rinsed off and clean, I grab her fluffy robe and wrap it around her. "Let's go get some sleep, baby."

We lay in bed and snuggle close to one another. "Goodnight, Firecracker."

"Goodnight, Cowboy."
