ARES

FOUR MONTHS LATER…

A eolopolis City fell under the watch of my old lady.

Aphrodite not only inherited Aetos’ power after Ouranos’ demise, but she revolutionized the entire establishment.

She transformed the Aetos mafia into a force to be reckoned with. Gone were the days of brute force and mindless violence. Aphrodite introduced a new era of strategic planning and calculated moves.

I couldn't help but feel a surge of pride for her. She stood on a pillar of control, fierce and unyielding, her words cutting through the smoky air like a blade as she commanded the new era of the Aetos mafia.

She was a true leader, destined to reshape the family.

I watched her in her office, seeing the men standing before her begin to nod in agreement, made me realize just how powerful she really was. And she was all mine.

Aphrodite used her charm to forge connections with other influential families in the underworld. Under her leadership, the Aetos mafia expanded its reach and solidified its control over expanded illicit activities in the city.

Aphrodite's vision for the future of the Aetos family wasn't just about survival; it was about expansion. Her plans went beyond the traditional rackets of gambling, extortion, and smuggling. She saw potential in areas that had previously been dismissed as too risky or unworthy of their time.

As her right hand, I witnessed firsthand the transformation of the mafia into a sophisticated organization fueled by Aphrodite’s vision. Her reign inspired loyalty and devotion, as members of the mafia rallied behind her, eager to follow her lead. Together, we were united, proud to be part of a new era of beauty, intellect, and cunning.

Aphrodite and the rest of the Aetos mafia joined forces with Olympus Syndicate. I never expected to be so eager for a business partnership, but here we were.

Zeus, with a victorious gleam in his eyes, forged an agreement with Aphrodite. The rest of the gang embraced every aspect of the changes. The city had been a battleground for Olympus Syndicate, a relentless fight for protection and recognition. But now, with this newfound alliance, the air was humming with possibilities.

Aphrodite wasn’t attached to Aetos Manor, so Apollo stepped up and transformed the space into our clubhouse. It was a rugged haven, with heavy leather furniture, dark wood, and walls adorned with motorcycle memorabilia.

“What are you doing?” Aphrodite came down from the second floor as I stood in the foyer, staring at the walls that once held the Aetos portraits. Those had vanished, replaced by OS members. Excitement coursed through my body, knowing the future was changing.

Crossing my arms against my chest, I watched my girl stroll over to me in her black floral dress, her curls bouncing as she watched me with curiosity. Nothing else mattered when I was with her. She was all I lived for. She was my purpose .

Aphrodite embraced me with her arms around my neck, and my hands found their place on her hips. Despite the things I had done in my life, I still couldn’t believe I deserved her.

“I can’t help but admire how incredibly beautiful you are, Aphrodite” I said, flashing a confident smile. She was stunning, and I knew she belonged to me in every way.

I craved her, and I was fortunate enough to have her every night. Every opportunity I had to be with her, I took full advantage, exploring every inch of her body. I think we’d tainted every inch of this manor with our passion. Athena was appalled when she caught us in the atrium. We were disheveled, trying to catch our breaths and our clothes were in disarray. “

I don't go for corny, Ares,” she purred, her voice dripping with seduction. “Where's my rugged bad boy?” she teased.

I rolled my eyes with a smirk, then lifted her effortlessly. Her legs instinctively wrapped around my waist as she let out a playful squeal. I captured her lips with a deep, passionate kiss.

As our lips met, the world faded away. The softness of her against me sent a rush of warmth through my body. Her delicate fingers traced the contours of my face, igniting a tingle of anticipation that coursed through my body. The sound of our breaths mingling created a symphony of desire. Every touch, every kiss, fueled the fire within, leaving us hungry for more.

“You horny bastards,” Hades interrupted as he walked in on our passionate embrace.

We let out an embarrassed laugh as she slipped her legs down my body, my dick twitching as her breasts pressed against me. I would fuck her right here, but I knew tonight was important, and once we started, we wouldn’t stop until sunrise.

We were having a grand opening party to celebrate our new headquarters. We had announced to the world that Aeolopolis City's biggest star would be performing a private show just for us, though we kept their identity a secret.

“Sorry, Hades.” Aphrodite said, leaning against my chest as I flashed him an annoyed glance. “Is everything coming along for tonight?”

“Yeah, Apollo has been getting everything ready with Prometheus. Zeus wrangled Poseidon into coming tonight too,” Hades replied, sliding his hands into his pockets.

Everyone knew the three brothers never got along. Poseidon always craved power, constantly striving to take control. Zeus, however, believed that because he was the beloved firstborn, he should be granted full authority. Hades was the only one that never felt the need to intrude. He was fierce and firm, yet never felt he needed control.

“Can I at least know who the hell is coming to perform tonight? Or at least tell me if she’s hot?” Hades sighed. I was keeping this all a secret.

“You can wait for tonight,” I said. “But right now, I need to take my girl somewhere.” Without warning, I picked up Aphrodite and threw her over my shoulder. I headed up the stairs to our apartment.

“Ares!” she squealed, her hands pounding playfully against my back.

I laughed, enjoying the thrill of the moment, and continued up the stairs with her, savoring the way her laughter mingled with my own.

Night fell as the guests arrived at the entrance of the Olympus Syndicate's new establishment. There we were in our vests, showing the world that what happened to us would not destroy our reputation. We asserted our authority and knew that every person was looking at us differently, aware that we were representing two armies tonight.

Dressed in a snug black halter dress, Aphrodite exuded power as she stood alongside her guards, embracing guests with a welcoming smile. From my vantage point across the room, I sensed the aura of dominance she commanded. Yet, despite her poised exterior, she was facing constant threats.

The chilling realization washed over me that some individuals greeting her likely harbored murderous intentions. Unbeknownst to them, I, a fierce warrior, would unleash a torrent of fury upon anyone who dared to cast a malevolent gaze in her direction.

The ballroom that once held events for the Aetos mafia, was now the official new Odyssey, improved with a stage, bold neon lights, and tables with booths along the side for patrons to sit and enjoy their time. With the help of Pandora's staff, it looked good. The space exuded sophisticated allure, blending the grandeur of its past with a fresh, dynamic energy.

“Take a seat. The show is about to begin.” I said as we slid into the booth with the rest of the Syndicate. The place was packed, and everyone, including Aphrodite, rippled with anticipation.

Aphrodite had hired Paris as the entertainment manager for this place. After getting the approval by her doctors for her to return to her life, she was ready to join us at Olympus Syndicate. When she mentioned her connections to some of the biggest artists in the music industry, I jumped at the chance to have her here. Aphrodite vouched for her, knowing that we needed someone who was going to help us with this business venture.

The black velvet drapes pulled away from the stage, and Paris walked out in a sequined black dress. The crowd cheered. Aphrodite leaned against me as I rested my arm on the ledge of the booth, waiting with anticipation.

“Hello, beautiful people! I’m Paris, your hostess for tonight’s event, and the event manager of the new and improved Odyssey!” Everyone, including us, cheered and whistled. Hades turned to face me and gave a subtle nod of approval.

Paris continued, “I have the absolute pleasure of introducing the main event for tonight. This artist was truly excited to partake in tonight’s affair, and we are so happy to have her here. So, let’s give a round of applause for the beautiful and talented award-winning singer, Persephone!”

Emerging from behind the luxurious drapes, Persephone glided forward in a bewitching lace gown. Its ornate fabric hugged her slender frame, accentuating a daring slit that revealed her toned legs. Her expressive eyes sparkled, framed by high cheekbones and full lips. Warm brown skin emitted a gentle glow as she elegantly swept her long black braids away from her face.

She approached the microphone, and the stage lights cast an enchanting glow, causing her eyes to darken with intensity.

From my peripheral vision, I glimpsed Hades, who appeared agitated.

“What the hell is she doing here?” Hades spit with anger.

“What is your problem?” I snapped. He stood abruptly.

I glanced up at Persephone and caught sight of her gaze following Hades as he turned to leave, her normally vibrant eyes tinged with melancholy.

Aphrodite turned her attention to me, her expression filled with concern.

“What is going on, Ares?” she asked, her hazel eyes boring into me.

I glanced at her, my gaze lingering, before shifting my eyes back to the empty spot at the booth, a heavy emptiness settling in my chest. “I have no fucking clue.”
