Chapter 16

ARAVIND

Tiago got so many calls from his family in a row that he shut his phone off, and we spent almost two hours sunning on the deck with a little cooler between us and occasional dips in the pool.

It was indulgent, watching him. He wasn’t as ghostly pale as most Canadians.

He had that sort of Mediterranean bronze going on, which suited him.

I couldn’t help but wonder if he knew who his biological father was. If he’d ever been given the opportunity to know where he came from. To connect with that side he’d lost.

I was still a little shook from hearing his story, and shook that a family could put all the blame and shame on some kid who didn’t ask to be born.

I had a taste of it, of course. My mom’s family wanted nothing to do with me, and even some of the more traditional members of my dad’s family didn’t acknowledge us.

But it wasn’t the same. I grew up loved on all sides of me. Even when my dad wasn’t as open about it. Even when he was stressed and angry and made me a little afraid that I was going to be nothing more than a walking disappointment, I never felt alone.

I wouldn’t have been able to cope the way Tiago coped. I wasn’t strong like that. Every time I’d ever fallen—even when it was a devastating fall—I always had some kind of soft place to land.

I wanted to wrap around him and promise him that nothing would ever touch him again, but it wasn’t my place.

“Hey,” he said, interrupting my thoughts.

I turned to him, indulging in his wet hair and freckles that were standing out more now since he’d been in the sun. “Mm?”

“I’m going to go talk to my brother so he’ll stop blowing up my phone. I really don’t want to shut it off in case anything happens with the boys.”

The boys? Oh, right. His friends. Why the fuck did hockey players call each other that?

“That’s fine. I’m going to get some more vitamin D. Then later, maybe I can get some vitamin D?”

He flushed and reached for me. I expected him to pull me into a kiss, but instead, he crouched over my chair and sank his teeth into my neck while his hand trailed down to my half-hard dick. “Yes.”

Fuck yeah. I was going to have fun with him later.

Stretching out, I watched him go, adjusting myself in my swim shorts.

They were tight and left nothing to the imagination—a soft pink with black polka dots that made me feel quite pretty.

And I liked that I could unapologetically be myself out here with no one watching except Tiago, who seemed to appreciate all these parts of who I was.

Flexing my toes, I turned my face up toward the sun, but I only got a moment of peace before my phone started ringing. I fumbled for it, nearly knocking over my glass, but I pushed up my shades and squinted at the number.

It was a Boston area code, but I didn’t recognize it. I hesitated with my finger over the Answer button. I doubted it was Leon after all this time, and I did have a few applications for jobs out there, so it would be silly of me to ignore it.

But the real anxiety came from the fear that it was something to do with my dad. Like the call I’d gotten about my mom.

My heart was in my throat when I picked up. “Hello?”

“I didn’t think you were going to answer.”

Fuck me sideways. “I blocked your fucking number,” I told my ex.

“I know, which is why I had to borrow Daryl’s office phone.”

That’s it. I was going back to Boston so I could murder them both. “I’m going to file a goddamn restraining order.”

“We both know you’re not, sweetheart,” he said. I wanted to punch him through the phone. Someone really needed to get on that technology. “I just need you to hear me out, okay?”

“No.”

“I love you—”

“Bullshit.”

“—and I miss you. And I want you to come home. I know I was a complete asshole and—”

“Can you not?” I interrupted at a near shout. This was everything I’d desperately wanted to hear from Leon in those first weeks after I left him. The begging, the confession that he really did love me. That it was all a mistake. That I was the one special enough to change a man like him.

And god, I was so grossed out by him now.

“I’m being serious. I know you have no reason to believe me, but the house is so empty without you. And I’ve been with men—gorgeous men. Men with tight asses and big dicks who are willing to give me whatever I want, but all I can think of is you.”

I blinked, then tried not to burst into laughter. “Did you…did you think you were doing something with all that? You have access to all these tight little assholes you can fuck at will, but somehow, you want me back?”

He was silent.

“I don’t have time for this, okay? My boyfriend and I are trying to enjoy a nice beach day.”

He made a choking noise. “Boyfriend?”

“Oh.” I smiled just as Tiago walked back out onto the deck and headed toward me. “Yes. Boyfriend.”

“You don’t have to pretend for me, sweetheart. I know I hurt your pride, but this is beneath you.”

“Hold, please.” I pulled the phone away from my ear and hit the button to put it on speaker. “Tiago, honey?”

He stopped beside my chair with a frown. “You okay?”

“My shit-for-brains ex-boyfriend seems to think that I’m making you up because he hurt my little feelings.”

He got a little knowing smirk on his face, then laughed. “That crusty old professor guy you were with?”

“Who the fuck—” Leon started to demand. I dropped the phone on the table as Tiago swung his leg over me and sat on my lap.

He lowered his head, then spoke in a whisper right against my ear. “Play it up?”

“If this is too much,” I whispered back, but he shook his head.

“No, Aravind. You are not too much.” He took me by the chin and kissed me, groaning into it.

It might have been for show—for pretend—but I knew the noises were genuine.

He was hard as a rock, rubbing his hard dick against my stomach though his thin trunks.

When he pulled back, I felt dazed and nearly forgot where I was and what we were doing until I could hear Leon yelling my name and Tiago laughing.

“Shit, babe. Are you still on the phone?”

“Oh. Right.” I reached for it.

“Don’t you fucking dare, Ara!” Leon shouted. “We are not fucking done he—”

I punched the button, and the call cut off, and I let it drop back to the table. The moment of silence stretched out between us, and then Tiago rocked his hips.

“Do you want to—”

“Fuck yes.”

He laughed as he rolled off me, then offered both hands to haul me up. I left my phone on the table as I turned away from what felt like my past and dragged him inside.

“Oh my god, oh my god. Oh shit.” Those were the first couple of English words I’d heard from Tiago since I started eating his ass.

He really didn’t speak a lot of French, and his accent was very subtle, but he seemed to default into his other language when I had my tongue buried deep inside him, his balls rolling in my hand.

I’d been tempted to gag him with another pair of my panties, but I was glad I didn’t. Hearing his unchecked noises was just as good as seeing his mouth stuffed with pink lace.

I added two fingers alongside my tongue before pulling back, and I kissed each globe of his ass before I rose up, rocking my dick between his thighs. He grunted and made a valiant but failed attempt to close his legs to give me friction.

It wasn’t what I wanted anyway. I had a bottle of lube and a condom waiting for me to finish stretching him out all nice and pretty.

“You good?” I asked when he went silent.

He made a distressed noise, even as he nodded. “It’s a lot,” he managed. His hands were clawing the sheets. “M’too close.”

I eased back from tormenting his prostate, pulling out all the way until just the tips of my fingers were stretching his rim. Fuck, he was so gorgeous like this. His asshole was a dusky, deep rose and hairy like the rest of his body.

I liked the way his hole twitched around me, and as much as I wanted to fuck face-to-face so I could kiss the shit out of him, being able to watch myself slide deep inside his hole was better.

“Aravind,” he gasped. “Fucking…please. Please…”

“Oh, sweet boy, I really like the way you beg.”

His entire body shuddered, and his elbows gave out, sending him down so his torso was on the mattress with his ass in the air.

“If I could paint, I would recreate this image and hang it above my bed so I could jerk off to it every single night.”

He grunted and fucked his hips backward, wordlessly asking me to get on with it. And I wasn’t going to make him wait. Edging him would be fun one of these days. Definitely at least once before he left.

But for now, I wanted to be inside him almost as desperately as he wanted to be filled.

I gripped my cock and slid the condom on, then added more lube before pressing the head against his hole.

I felt the way he clenched before I even pushed inside, but the moment I gave a single thrust, he relaxed.

“Oh god,” I groaned, my voice thready as I slid another inch inside. “Oh god, look at you. Look how well you take me.”

“Aravind,” he moaned. He arched his back, his legs spreading just a little more. I dragged my hand down his spine as he sobbed and fucked his hips backward so hard, he took all of me.

“God, sweet boy,” I babbled, pulling out and slamming back in. He grunted so loud, his voice nearly shook the windows. “Fuck, look at how hungry you are for my dick.”

He sobbed harder, hands fisting in the sheets as he began to move in time with my thrusts.

I wasn’t going to last. I had no chance in hell against this man.

Not with the way he was so fucking horny for it—for me.

He shook with desperation, his words a garbled mess as I railed him, hips slapping against his ass with each thrust.

I could feel my orgasm cresting, and as much as I liked to take pride in my control and restraint, Tiago stripped me of all of that.

I felt fucking feral, raw, moving on pure instinct alone.

I dug my fingers into his sides as my hips sped up, and I chased the sensation that was exploding through me.
