Chapter 25 ELLE

ELLE

Zodiac insisted we fool around once we went to bed. I didn’t think I could handle more fucking when my pussy already felt raw. My whining only inspired Zodiac to get me extra wet and willing before he took what he wanted.

I was far less grumpy about fucking after we got up the next morning. When I returned from the bathroom, Zodiac was stretched out in his bed, looking gorgeous from the top of his head to the tips of his toes. I crawled over him and took advantage of his morning wood.

Zodiac tugged me into his shower after we finished and soaped up my hair. I got the feeling we were living out a few of his masturbatory fantasies. We tried doggy-style after finishing the breakfast he had delivered.

By the time Sabrina was on her way over, my pussy needed an ice pack. Zodiac offered a hot water bottle instead.

“Still wanting to be parents with benefits?” Zodiac asked as he prepared his apartment to be left for a day or two. “Think you can keep up with me?”

“As long as I get downtime between riding your big dick, I see no reason why I won’t outlast you. I mean, I am a dozen years younger,” I told him, just to poke at his giant ego. “Oh, but maybe you should use only half your dick when I get further along. I don’t want you giving Wilbur brain damage.”

Zodiac chuckled. “What makes you think I’ll want to fuck you once you’re fat?”

Refusing to take the bait, I looked down at where I held the hot water bottle. “Good news, pussy. You’ll soon have a break. Let’s see, I should be fat in a few months. I don’t like rushing myself back into shape, so no more sex until Wilbur’s around a year old.”

Zodiac flashed me an arrogant smirk. “You’ll be begging for it long before I do.”

“I accept your challenge,” I replied, wearing a smile before getting a text from Xandy saying they were blocks away.

I ditched the hot water bottle and grabbed my overnight bag. Zodiac stopped me at the door and planted a lingering kiss on my lips.

“What are your thoughts about tatting my name on the inside of your pussy?” he asked, poking at me rather than admitting how he wanted to cry.

“One side can be my first name, while the other side will be my last. That way, anytime you spread for a guy, he’ll know he’s messing with another man’s property. ”

“Oh, no, you’re getting clingy and insecure,” I taunted as I opened his door and stepped outside. “You’re already thinking of a future when I’ve moved past you and started riding other dudes.”

Following me outside, Zodiac lost his smile. The world outside his place felt unsafe. He instantly wanted to stand in front of me on the way down the metal staircase. The fun guy disappeared, and the biker president resurfaced.

Sabrina pulled the SUV into the parking lot and honked the horn despite how I was standing feet away. Zodiac frowned at my cousin. She leaned across Moe so she could frown back at him.

“She thinks you’re a dork,” I told Zodiac.

“I think she’s a frigid shrew,” Zodiac said and yanked me against him. He planted his lips on mine and sucked at my tongue in a wonderfully inappropriate way. He kissed across my chin toward my ear, where he whispered, “Be sure to tell her that.”

I stared into his beautiful eyes and felt a painful yearning. My heart belonged in Little Memphis with my family. Zodiac and I couldn’t work, but last night was one of the best of my life.

“Don’t cry,” Zodiac warned. “You’re not pregnant enough for me to listen to your whining.”

“You’re the crybaby. I’m worried your tears will cause you to crash your bike on the ride to Little Memphis.”

Smirking, Zodiac wiped the back of his hand across his eyes. “My eyes are as dry as your pussy is with anyone besides me.”

I turned away from him to ensure he couldn’t see me smile at his bullshit. Joining Xandy in the back seat, I finally looked at Zodiac.

“Ride safe, stud. I want you to live long enough for Wilbur to become embarrassed by you.”

I shut the door before he could reply. Climbing on his bike, he soon revved the engine to hint that Sabrina should get moving.

We made our way down the Baton Rouge streets before taking the highway. During the drive, Xandy and Moe regaled me with tales of their wild sex in the hotel’s disability shower.

“Now, you can tell us how a man used your vagina for his wanton desires,” Xandy said, winning snickers from Sabrina and Moe.

Rather than give a play-by-play of Zodiac’s magical and massive dick, I admitted, “I’m falling for Zodiac.”

Sabrina grunted. “Duh.”

Sighing dramatically, I mumbled, “But he’s not the kind of man who commits to a woman and moves into her basement apartment with her genius son, small dog, and antisocial cat.”

“You could have stopped at ‘he’s not the kind of man who commits to a woman,’” Sabrina replied immediately. “It’s not like you didn’t know what kind of man he was when you decided to show up at his place unannounced.”

“I hoped his rude mouth would turn me off. I wanted to get over my crush. Except his rude mouth said sweet shit and also did sexy stuff between my thighs. Now, I’m worse off than before.”

“Crush sounds like you’re in high school,” Xandy said.

“Fine. I am deeply attracted to the jackass. Is that more mature?”

“You can’t love a man like Zodiac,” Sabrina insisted. “Only the dumbest fucking women ever fall for his type.”

“My dad is his type. Did you just call Shay one of the dumbest fucking women ever?”

“Besides the foster kid thing, how are they alike?”

“Ford was once a poonhound with no interest in commitment.”

“But he had Pax to keep him suitable for love. Does Zodiac have a Pax?”

After reacting to her bullshit with a dramatic eye roll, I sighed loudly. “Even if Zodiac fell desperately in love with me—”

Sabrina snorted at the idea. “This pregnancy is making you more dipshitty than usual.”

“Why are you being mean?” Moe asked Sabrina.

“Because if Elle gets the crap she wants with this asshole, she’ll end up living in Baton fucking Rouge.”

Moe looked back at me. “Can’t he just move his ass up to Little Memphis like Exile?”

“Yeah, just move their entire club to our town,” Sabrina grumbled. “Can’t imagine anything could go wrong with three fucking clubs in one place.”

“I wouldn’t be willing to move,” I told them. “He won’t leave his club for me. It’ll never work. That’s why I’m sad.”

“You can find someone else,” Xandy said in her husky voice.

“Eww, don’t threaten me. I don’t want another man. I didn’t even want Zodiac until he wooed me with his good looks and rude mouth.”

“You’re going to get fat soon,” Sabrina said, refusing to silence her own rude mouth. “He’s bound to lose interest and get dismissive. That’s when you’ll get over him. Let’s all be patient.”

I studied Zodiac riding ahead of us. His thick blond hair whipped around in the wind. I admired his wide back flexing as he controlled his hog. The man was so sexy. Last night and this morning, he felt like my guy. Today, I was hit with the harsh truth of our situation.

Sabrina turned up the music and insisted we all sing along rather than take pot shots at my romantic life.

Though I played along, my head was stuck on Zodiac. I replayed everything about our time together, both good and bad.

Hours later, I was still swooning over the jackass. He looked so sexy and windswept when he pulled up to the house as I climbed out of Sabrina’s SUV.

“Don’t be weak,” my cousin warned me. “Also, pick a better name than Wilbur.”

I flipped off my cousin as she sped away. Zodiac strutted over to me.

“Now what?” he asked me as Clint and Ivy exited my parents’ house.

“Look, I had plenty of silly fun with you and your body,” I said and patted his chest. “But I won’t miss you or cry about how you live too far away. I’m just not that into you.”

Zodiac grinned. “When I get back home, I’ll need a blowjob since you were too selfish to provide one despite me going down on you twice.”

“I approve of you getting your knob slobbered on by a cheap whore since there’s no way I’m putting that damn thing in my mouth.”

Clint wrapped an arm around Ivy, which wasn’t easy since she was itty-bitty. “Do you hear that?” he asked his woman. “Romance is in the air.”

Ivy snickered and grinned at me.

I shook my head and insisted, “Don’t pity me, Ivy. My romantic nature insisted I give this man a chance to woo me. Unfortunately, he failed, and I absolutely won’t finger myself to thoughts of him tonight.”

Losing his grin, Clint muttered, “Okay, now, we’re getting a little too honest for my taste.”

“Your brother is a prude,” Zodiac told me.

“Our parents raised us to be lame. Oh, I’m sorry. Did it hurt your feelings to hear we had parents?”

Zodiac shrugged. “I had parents. Everyone has them. You’re not special.”

“You’re so adorable when you wear your sad foster kid expression. Allow me to hug you.”

“Alright, but I’m copping a feel.”

While I wrapped my arms around Zodiac and he gingerly slapped my ass, Clint said, “I can’t tell what’s happening here.”

“We’re saying goodbye.”

“You’re riding back to Baton Rouge today?” Clint asked Zodiac.

“No, I’m bunking somewhere and returning home tomorrow. Exile might come with me.”

“Did you figure out what happened with the fire?”

“Not for certain, but we’re leaning toward the fire being unrelated to the Void.”

I held onto Zodiac and tried to remain flippant. Going goo-goo-gaga over this man was the epitome of dumb. He wasn’t a keeper. Our only future was as coparents.

“Are you okay?” Clint asked me.

Answering for me, Zodiac helpfully shared, “Getting properly fucked last night has made your little sister extra needy.”

“It’s not personal,” I said and pushed off him. “I think you might have injured my back. That’s why I was using you as a crutch. Ivy, come closer so I can lean on you.”

Ivy considered refusing my demand. I saw her blue eyes narrowing like I was messing with her. But then, she likely sensed I was ready to cry and glue myself to Zodiac to keep him nearby. Protecting me from myself, she moved closer and allowed me to hold her.

My gaze met Zodiac’s, and he smiled smugly. I hated how I couldn’t hide my feelings. As soon as I surprised him at his place, I showed all my cards and handed him the power.
