Chapter 17 #3

All of that had fizzled away after we’d put them through their paces, earning us grumbles and under-the-breath cusses. Plus, me suggesting we had a glutes competition went a long way to wiping clear the rose-tinted glasses.

It was no good. We had to get moving. “We need to shower.”

“You’re very talkative for a dead man.”

“A brainless dead man,” I agreed. “You see, my talents will forever surprise you.”

Sutton angled and leaned on his elbow, peering down at me. “I’m good with you surprising me.”

Goose bumps dotted along my skin at the heat in his gaze and the sweet sincerity in his voice. That was followed quickly by the memory of his heated words after our gym session.

“Speaking of surprises.” I arched my brow and gave him a pointed stare. “You mentioned something about a cock in my ass.” Just saying the word sent a rush of warmth to my cheeks. My ass cheeks clenched, wondering exactly what that would feel like.

Sutton’s brows shot comically high, his eyes widening. “Is, uhm, that something you want to try? That we’re ready for?” A roll of his eyes later, he shook his head. “Fuck, why is it that I feel like a fucking virgin all over again?”

I chuckled. “Because both our asses are virgin holes.” I furrowed my brows. “Well, at least mine is—”

“Mine too,” he was quick to say.

“What are you thinking?”

“That I’m both mortified and turned on by this conversation.” He collapsed back onto the bed, covering his eyes with his arm.

“Me too,” I admitted. With the man being honest with me, I’d absolutely be giving it him back.

“We really do need to shower. We can talk about this later.” I sat up, having a great idea.

“Perhaps we could talk about it with Mark. He’s gay, so is probably down with the whole anal sex thing. I’m sure—”

“No fucking way.” Sutton sat up, the whites of his eyes super visible with how wide-eyed he was.

I frowned. “But he’s a counselor. And does the whole LGBTQ stuff.”

“And he’s also had your tongue in his mouth.”

Surprise blasted through me. The emotion was quickly followed by amusement and a huge grin. “Huh… is that where you’re at with Mark? Interesting.”

“It’s so not interesting.” He shook his head at me and stood.

I jumped up to follow him into the bathroom, too entertained by this turn of events to leave it be. “You know, some people say jealousy is an ugly emotion.”

He turned on the shower and stepped inside. I was close at his heels when he said, “Not jealous.”

I ignored him. He totally was jealous. “You wanna know what I think?”

“Do I have a choice?”

I grinned. “I think it’s fucking hot.” My dick had done a valiant job of perking right up.

I pushed against his butt, so he could join me with the admiration my growing hard-on deserved.

“So much so, every time it’s clear you’re jealous, I think you’ll deserve a blowy.

Maybe a hand job. Either way, you’ll be blowing your load. ”

From over his shoulder, Sutton looked at me, his pupils blown.

“You like that, huh?”

He attempted to harden his gaze, look unaffected, but I reached around him, latching on to his erection. His breath caught. I had to give it to the man. Sutton schooled his features impressively. Not so much when I squeezed gently and gave a tug.

“I think there’s probably something really unhealthy about being turned on and offering sexual rewards when your b— I’m jealous.”

“You’re talking too much. I’m clearly not getting my point across.” I stroked more firmly, picking up speed, still pressing against his back and feeling his body vibrate.

He grunted, and I pressed my mouth against his neck. Angling a little, he gave me better access.

“I swear I could come with just getting you off.” I thrust against him for good measure and gasped when my cock glided through his ass cheeks, angling down.

“Holy fucking yes.” Sensation flooded me.

If getting off with the crease of his ass was this good, how fucking incredible would it be sinking into his tight channel?

I grunted at the thought, going to town with my thrusts and keeping a fast rhythm on his cock.

“And don’t think I didn’t notice,” I managed, rubbing up against him, “you didn’t know what to call me.”

Once again, he angled to look at me. With his bottom lip trapped between his teeth, he looked hot. Complete with flushed cheeks, he was well on the way to the image of him I loved seeing the most. Thoroughly debauched.

“Boyfriend… sounds weird,” he said with a groan, pushing against me one second and then pushing forward into my grip.

I agreed completely. More than once I’d hesitated about terminology. And then he was spilling into my hand. I barely had time to react before he turned, smashed his mouth against mine, took my cock in hand, gave a few short, tight tugs, and I released.

The sound echoing around the bathroom was loud, a relieved grunt and groan as he once more had me seeing stars.

“I think I need to work on my jealousy,” Sutton said as he pulled away. “Much more of that, and I don’t think I’ll survive it.” The sweetest smile beamed back at me, making my heart do a loop-de-loop, my stomach adding an extra fizz for good measure.

“How about me telling you that you have nothing to be jealous about?” Despite my smile, I was deadly serious.

With the way Sutton made me feel—whole, complete, understood—how could he possibly think I wanted anyone else?

“Plus, there’s the whole my dick’s-only-hard-for-you thing we have going on.

” I bounced my brows up and down. “Is bi for you a real thing?”

Rolling his eyes, Sutton groaned, pressing his face against my neck.

“What, it’s a legit question?” Mirth lit my words, but I was kinda serious too. “Another question we can ask Mark.”

The bastard nipped my neck. I hissed and pulled away, noticing the smug grin on his face.

“You’ve got issues, man,” I grumbled, dotting a kiss to his puffy lips and somehow managing to pull away before I devoured him.

“That right?”

“Yeah, apparently you can’t decide if you’re the Hulk or… what’s that guy’s name, from that movie? It’s old as fuck now. Shit.” I racked my brains as we washed off, then grinned when the name came to me. With a click of my fingers, I said, “Blade. You know, the vampire? It’s also the name—”

“I know the name of the movie,” he deadpanned.

“Yeah, that whole crackpot Wesley Snipes vibe going on. Teeth to yourself.”

Turning off the shower, Sutton eyed me with something akin to wonder on his face. Scratch that. Rather than wonder, it was bemused tolerance, maybe.

“Just get your ass moving. Apparently we have a friend of yours to meet.”

“Roger that, lover.”

Honest-to-God befuddlement crossed his features.

“No? Okay, no use of lover. I’ll keep trying.”

We dressed while I considered other alternatives. Thinking of something wild that would really get under Sutton’s skin.

“How about suitor?” I suggested as we stepped into the canteen, which was nothing like the canteen from my college days. Here was all nice silverware, quality plates, and well-cooked, albeit healthy food. Since I didn’t have to fend for myself, I took it as a win.

“Nope.”

I peered around the room and saw Mark sitting with Milo and Pearce. My back straightened. I still hadn’t had real quality time with Milo yet. Sure, there was Mark to catch up with, and there was Pearce, who we needed to check up on, but Milo Henderson was right there.

A hand clamped on my shoulder. “I know playing hard to get has never been in your vocabulary,” Sutton said quietly next to my ear. “Now’s the time to try it on for size.”

Narrowing my eyes, I glanced at him. “I’m not that bad.”

The asshole responded with an arched brow that distracted me for a second at how gorgeous he looked. I shook my head out of my Sutton fog. “Uh-huh.”

“Please,” I drawled, “if that was Tommy Leroy sitting there, you’d already be hyperventilating.”

He didn’t correct me, since I totally spoke the truth. If I had a baller crush on Milo, Sutton had a full-on swooning kinda crush on Leroy. The man definitely had some mad skills on the court in the day, but Milo would have totally been able to kick his ass.

With a twitch of his lips, Sutton sighed. “Have at it then. Just remember we’re here for weeks yet.”

Taking my time to head on over, not wanting to appear too eager, I eyed the spare seats, planning my move. The chair opposite Milo was empty, plus the one next to him. I hesitated before settling on the chair opposite. That way I could listen intently to everything the man had to say.

“You made it,” Mark greeted.

“Sure did. Everyone doing okay tonight?” I asked to the table as a whole, my gaze drifting to Milo.

After a round of smiles and yeses, Mark said, “I was just explaining how we know each other.”

I grinned. “Got it. Badge of honor awarded for that kiss.”

Pearce spat out his drink, Milo’s brows rose, Sutton shook his head, while Mark stared at me wide-eyed. “I meant college. We took a couple of classes together.”

“Oh.” I bobbed my head, not quite sure why he hadn’t shared the kiss too.

“You guys made out in college?” Pearce asked after clearing his throat.

“Sure did,” I said smugly. “The kiss that changed Mark’s life.

” I shot him a wink, a little perplexed at Mark’s gaping-fish expression “Shit, shouldn’t I have said that?

Fuck, are you not out here?” Panicked, I shot a look at Sutton, hoping for some sort of assist. “You did say you were gay in the group session, right? I didn’t imagine that? ”

He stared at me, and just when I thought he would let me open my mouth and carry on digging, he saved me with another small sigh and a wink.

“Maybe while we’re here, part of the time needs to be conversations about privacy, oversharing, and ensuring respectful conversations are had, ones that could impact on someone’s life before talking.”

“Yes.” I pointed at Sutton. “Totally what my significant other”—Pearce spat out another mouthful of water at that gem—“said.” Focusing on Mark after seeing Sutton glare at me, I scrunched my face in apology.

“If I know someone’s secret, I absolutely do not share any of that.

But other stuff, I just assume. Sorry.” I made sure not to look in Pearce’s direction.

Mark’s smile did a lot to ease my shoulders.

I swore I wasn’t usually such an idiot. I didn’t even glance at Milo, figuring my overenthusiasm and my mouth running away with me was me being hyperaware of my idol.

“Relax, Jayden. You heard right. I’m absolutely still out, and I think anyone who knows you trusts that you’d keep their confidence. ”

Relieved, I nodded. “Scout’s honor.” I shot Sutton a pointed look before he could throw his usual argument at me.

“Honestly, I’ve never told anyone about what happened in college. It’s one of those sorts of rules, if you like, about not making assumptions or oversharing. Not when it comes to sexuality.”

“These rules… please tell me they’re written down in a handbook. I could totally do with one of those. Speaking of—”

“Jayden.” Sutton cut me off, eyeing me with the sexy stern look he was a master of.

I grinned at him, only half planning to carry on and be ridiculous in my questioning and topic of conversation. He winked, knowing I enjoyed razzing people just like I enjoyed being the entertainer. It was also a great distraction from my potential faux pas earlier.

“So, anyone else starving?”

Nods around the table followed.

“Excellent. Let’s get food, and then Milo can tell us all about how he plans to talk to Coach about letting him forget these kids, and he should have one-on-one sessions with the sexiest and most talented player in the League for the remainder of the course.

” I rubbed my hands together, ridiculously so.

Milo looked startled for maybe a fraction of a second before he nodded. “Absolutely. I’m up for that. Sutton”—he glanced at my bae—“I’d love to offer you extra sessions. Just let me know when.”

The table erupted in laughter as they stood, Sutton patting Milo on the shoulder.

“Laugh it up, wise guys.” I followed them toward the serving area. “Don’t think I’ve forgotten about the glutes contest. No chance anyone else will be winning that one but me.”
