Epilogue

The divorce was completed in a minimum amount of time. I gave Janis three months’ worth of my income that would normally be in her checking account. I gave her the house that is paid for and I gave her half of our savings account.

Janis’ attorney was ecstatic with the deal my lawyer offered. But it was all dependent on that I would allow Janis to talk to me one more time.

It was heart breaking when she sobbed and begged me to forgive her. When she begged me to take her back. When she swore she would never hurt our relationship ever again.

“There is no more relationship Janis,” I told her. I would spend the rest of my life not trusting you and wondering when the next time you would decide to go get some more dick,” I told her. I also told her that I do forgive her and I wish her luck as she moves on with her life.

“You should be okay. You have a house that is paid for, a fairly new luxury car and a good job to support yourself. Who knows? Maybe you will find some fella who would want to do the swinging scene with you,” I offered.

She was still sobbing when I hung up from the call and again blocked her number.
