Chapter 9
Jack
We arrived back in Seattle at noon on Saturday. Six days early. But Jenny had no clue that I was home. And I would keep it that way for the first couple of days.
For some reason, it just felt right when I came into Krista’s three bedroom house in Woodinville. It felt like home to me. I felt like I belonged here. I felt that especially when Krista took me to the den where I would set up to do my writing.
Krista and I spent Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning catching up with work. I finished a book and sent it off for editing and publishing. As a corporate Travel Consultant, Krista caught up with CEO’s and assistants returning from trips this past week and got ready for the week ahead.
Of course, we took regular breaks to screw our brains out. I now feel like a teenager who has just discovered the wonders of sex. I just cannot get enough of Krista and she feels the same way about me. What can I say? The sex is tremendous and we are both hooked on one another.
We rolled out of bed at 9am on Monday morning sharing a shower and a quick breakfast. Our first stop was at my lawyer’s office. I collected the divorce papers and signed them. Now all I need is for Jenny to sign them and return them to me.
It took the better part of two hours to stuff all my clothes and belongings into my Suburban SUV. I left a note on the table for Jenny with the divorce paper on the kitchen table.
Jenny: As you can see, this is a divorce decree. If you don’t contest the divorce, it will be final 90 days after I get it back to my attorney.
I am offering you a settlement of five hundred thousand dollars, ownership of our home free and clear all paid off and a 3k per month support payment for one year. If you fight me on this, there will be dire consequences. I have unblocked your number. Call if you have any questions.
It was 5:30pm when Jenny called.
Jenny: Who did you let get into our house?
Jack: What? Wasn’t you letting Randle and Brian all over the house more than I have ever allowed in our house?
Jenny: How did you get this paperwork in the house?
Jack: I came home from Boston early. When you look around the house, you will find that I have removed everything I own from your house.
Jenny: What is this threat you left? What dire consequence?
Jack: Both of the dentists that you work with had sex with a married woman. One complaint from me and they will both lose their license to practice in Washington for ethics violations. That wouldn’t bode well for the budding relationship between you and Brian.
Jenny: You wouldn’t dare.
Jack: Hell yes I would. It would be perfect revenge against the two men who have been fucking my wife for nearly 5 years. Bottom lines is, do you really want to test me on this? It would sure fuck things up with Brian.
Jenny: I will settle. But I want one million instead of half.
Jack: Fine. But I will drop the 3k per month support.
Jenny: Okay. I will settle with you.
Jack: I will call my lawyer in the morning and have the new agreement on your table tomorrow when you get home.
Jenny: How will I get the paperwork back to you?
Jack: Call me when you get home and we will meet somewhere close to your house.
