Chapter 4
Jack
I had a bit of a hangover when I awoke in the guest bedroom. At first, I was a bit disoriented as to where I was and why. I remembered I’ve been sleeping here since Monday evening.
As I sat on the side of the bed in just my boxer shorts, every detail of what happened Monday flooded back into my mind.
As I sat there and wondered how I SHOULD feel about all of this, I thought that I could smell the sweet scent of Lilly’s musk perfume in the air around be. I felt my dick wiggle slightly and it amused me that I could be so mad and yet still so turned on by such a simple thing.
I went into the guest bathroom and showered and shaved before I came out of the bedroom. I also gargled and spritzed with some cologne that was in the bathroom so I would be nice and fresh.
I was surprised when I found the note propped up against the coffee maker. I thought that Lilly would want to talk about Monday more than anything else. Or maybe she thought that I needed some time alone to figure things out concerning my own feelings.
To say the least, I was colossally confused as I sipped on my first cup of coffee. I have determined that Donny was right about the points that he brought up. But I was equally concerned of the fact that things could escalate and I could end up losing my wife to some other man.
As I sipped on my coffee, I determined that Lilly and I should set up some boundaries. There needs to be some clear lines that we will not cross. There needs to be some agreement as to where this fantasy stuff will lead us.
After a quick breakfast of cereal and a glass of juice, I went out to mow the front yard. When I completed that, I mowed the back yard next. It was just lunch time when I put the mower back in the garage. I decided to fire off a quick text to Lilly.
Jack: Thinking about you sweetie! Hope you are doing well today.
After there was no quick response from my wife, I added:
Jack: Looking forward to our talk tonight. I love you dearly.
I felt a little foolish after a half an hour passed with no answer. I went out to the pool and decided to swim some laps to burn up some energy and the anxiety I was feeling inside about the whole situation.
It was an hour and a half after my last text that I finally received a message from Lilly.
Lilly: Will be home 7pm…will see you then.
I was stunned by the short and blunt message. Nothing about how her day was. No response to my saying I loved her. It almost seemed like it had been a bother to her to have to answer my text at all. I did not reply.
