Chapter 1

Jack

After I ate my breakfast of two pancakes, two sausage links and a bran muffin, I laid my head against the wall of the plane and fell fast asleep. After being up all night, I was exhausted.

After we landed, I stood while Agent Morro placed the cuffs on me again.

When we are off the plane, you will come with me and there will be a debriefing.

During that time, You will need to make a decision of what you are going to do with your life.

Right now, you are one step away from up to ten years in prison for what you did,” she told me softly.

Agent Morro held my elbow gently while she directed me to a black limo while the rest of the agents piled into another gloss black Suburban.

“Do you have a first name agent?” I asked once we were in the limo and on the way somewhere. “You will address me as Agent Morro…is that clear?” she answered.

I would guess that agent Morro was about 6 or 8 years older than me.

She has a great rack and athletic legs that go on forever in her tight pencil skirt.

Her white blouse is straining to hold her tits in place.

Her blonde hair is in a bun and her black rim glasses fills out what I would call the librarian look.

I nodded yes to let her know I understood.

We stopped at the gate of Quantico. Besides being a Federal Installation, it is the Headquarters of the CIA and the training center for the FBI. I felt the hair standup on the back of my neck when I saw the CIA emblem on the building I was taken to.

I found to my relief that the CIA was not interested in charging me with anything. But they seemed very interested in how I had hacked the FBI.

Why I was taken to Quantico is beyond my wildest imagination “So, why exactly are you taking me to Quantico?” I asked about half way where from the airport in Richmond.

“You will find out soon enough. For now, you might want to consider how you are going to respond to the people in authority you are about to encounter.” She answered.

“You will not want to piss them off,” she added.

I was taken aback as I was led into a building that was labeled by a huge sign as the FBI Academy. Just above the entrance were the words, Fidelity-Bravery-Integrity. Agent Morro was again leading me cuffed by my right elbow.

“Morro…so glad to see you could join us today,” An older man addressed her as he approached. “Yeah, we had a situation this morning that needed to be attended to immediately,” she answered.

As Agent Morro leads me to an interview room, I wonder if she got any sleep on the plane? If she jumped on an airplane as soon as my hack was observed, that would be 13 hours ago Virginia time.

“Did you get any sleep last night?” I asked her softly once I was seated in a chair with a table between us. “I got a cat nap on the flight to Seattle,” she answered.

It was at that point that the man who broke into my room before sunrise entered the room with some sort of file in his hands.

After he slapped the folder on the table, he sat in the chair next to Agent Morro.

Moments later, the older man who addressed Morro in the hallway joined us in the room but remained standing.

“Well, what do you have to say for yourself young man?” The older man was the first to speak. “It looks like I really fucked up…sir,” I answered remembering at the last moments that these people we in authority over me right now.

The man chuckled whimsically. “I like a man who gets right to the point,” he chuckled again. “Yes Jack, you really fucked up this time. This sort of offense regularly gets a ten year sentence in a federal prison,” he stated.

The room was deadly silent when I had no idea of how to address what he said. “I see that you understand the seriousness of your situation,” he stated. “Yes sir,” I replied.

The man sitting next to Agent Morro opened the file and pulled out some paperwork. “This is not the first time you have been in trouble…is it?” the agent asked me gruffly. I see that the papers on the table list the four times I have been arrested for hacking but released after a slap on the wrist.

“But this time, you jumped to the big leagues my friend and there will be no slap on the wrist or minimal fine this time. You are looking at some time in the big house,” he growled.

I think I turned as white as a ghost as I realize just how fucked I am this time. “Calm down Jack, Calm down,” Agent Morro told me when she saw the absolute horror in my expression. “We are here to offer you a way out,” she added.

I took a deep breath. My breath warbled a bit as I let the air escape. The room was quiet again for several moments. The older man came over to me.

It became immediately obvious to me that he wants to look directly into my eyes while he speaks to me. I make it a point to hold eye contact with him.

“Jack, my name is Hiram Bramdun. I am the head master of the FBI Academy here at Quantico in this building and surrounding training areas,” The man announced.

“Did you see the three words above the front entry when you came in?” He asked staring directly into my eyes. “Yes sir…Fidelity-Bravery and Integrity,” I answered immediately.

“Do you think you could live by those principles, Jack?” he asked. “Yes sir…I do,” I answered without hesitation. His eyebrows furrowed. “Are you sure?” he persisted. “Yes sir, I believe I can,” I repeated.

As of this moment, we are going to sit aside the charges of hacking a federal database and I am going to enroll you as an FBI cadet here at the academy.” He stated.

“You will complete the 16 week training course here. If you fail any part of the training, I will personally arrest you and press charges for felonious manipulating government data,” he informed me.

“You are 8 years younger than the normal cadet. But the particular skill set you have will be an asset for us well into the future,” Hiram told me. “Do not let me down Jack,” he said. “No sir,” I answered.
