Epilogue
The Wedding… A Year Later
Today was a big day, and here I was, a nervous wreck, with triplets inside of my stomach jumping around inside of me doing summersaults.
Beast stayed true to his word and knocked me up months later of us living in our mansion.
This pregnancy was hard on me because, once again, I was at super high risk being that I was carrying triplets.
Two girls and one boy, we were still arguing over names.
Beast wanted all three of their names to start with the later M.
Things still remained good as hell with us, and we got even closer.
Beast still had his moments, but he never gave up on trying to help himself.
He went to every doctor's appointment, and his therapist Ms. Scott became a family friend.
She would talk to him on the phone and give him helpful exercises.
He was more determined than ever to merge all of his personalities.
He never gave up on himself, and I admired him for that.
Beast was an awesome father, fiancé, and son.
He still made it his priority to make sure we all had everything we needed and then more.
Leandra practically lived with us, and she helped so much that I often had to make her take a step back and relax.
She and Beast were doing way better, but they still had their moments.
She would get mad at him and then go home for a couple of days.
What mattered the most was they would talk their problems out and be right back tight.
“You ready to get married, pretty lady?” Meshalay walked in with a huge belly herself. She and Stone got married a year ago in Vegas. Shortly after she was pregnant, we ended up pregnant at the same time. I guess you could say we were truly best friends.
“I’m ready, Lay. First, let me page the cleaning lady. Beast is gon’ have a fit if he sees our room looking like this.”
Right after the wedding, we were taking a private jet to Dubai.
Beast was a neat freak, though. When I convinced him to have the wedding here since we didn’t know that many people, he said no.
He didn’t like clutter or a lot of people in his personal space.
I had been using the second den we had for me and the girls when we all got together.
He didn’t too much care for Icella or her friends, so I kept their visits down to a minimum.
Most of the time, we all linked at my condo.
So having the wedding at our home was a big no for him.
It took a lot of convincing to get him to agree.
I didn’t want his anxiety high after the wedding when we came in here to get our things before boarding our flight.
I looked around and knew it was all my doing.
I had clothes slung around on the bed and floor.
My nerves were bad, so I had been moving super-fast that morning.
After paging the cleaning lady and taking one last look at myself, I damn near started to cry.
“Hell naw! What we not gon’ do is ruin that makeup,” Meshalay warned.
I sniffed back my tears and really stared hard at myself.
I looked utterly beautiful. The colors were white and gold.
I had on an expensive gold silk dress that flowed to the ground and came up with a high split.
Gold stilettos that I couldn’t wait to take off.
My body sparkled with glitter, and my makeup was beat.
I had a high bun with loose curls falling all around my face.
The diamond choker Beast gifted me a couple of nights back sat on my neck, shining bright and matching the diamond earring studs.
We walked to the elevator and made our way to my beautiful backyard.
I was shocked to see Brian standing at the door, ready to walk me down the aisle.
Beast was really trying to make this day special for me.
This came as a total complete shocker. I was glad he knew how much this meant to me because Brian remained a good friend of mine.
I hugged him tightly, then placed my arm in his, and we made our way out to the backyard.
Leandra brought some of her friends from bingo, and a lot of unknown faces sat in chairs close to the altar that Beast had bought.
He never gave me an answer on if we could have the wedding in the backyard a month ago.
I got my answer when he purchased a beautiful white and gold altar for us to stand under.
The backyard was massive, so it felt like forever to reach my man.
When I got closer, I noticed him lifting his Gucci frames to wipe underneath.
Right then and there, I became undone, and the tears started to flow.
Beast looked so handsome as he took his glasses off to get a better look at me. His suit was white and gold. He looked so damn good standing up there.
“Mommy, you look so beautiful!” Mattea moved from her seat to hug me tight before I could make it to her dad. I hugged her tightly and kissed her on the cheek.
“You do too, Tea.”
When I finally made it to the altar and took Beast’s hands, it felt like nothing or no one was around. Just me and the Beast that captured my heart.
