Epilogue 2

Parker

I sat in the pew at Savannah's christening and thought about how far my friend had come. Just a year ago, he had talked about how he didn't deserve anything good in life, and yet here we were celebrating his daughter.

But it wasn't my friend or his wife or even their beautiful daughter who had my current focus. Nope, it was the caramel-haired beauty to the left of Elle I couldn't keep my eyes off of.

Today she wore a peach-colored sundress that hit her midthigh with a white cardigan over top. At least that was what I thought the thing was called.

Her mocha-colored eyes held unshed tears as she gazed down lovingly at her goddaughter throughout the ceremony. Eyes that I wished were on me instead because God knew I couldn't keep mine off of her.

And who was this beauty that I couldn't get out of my head?

Molly––Elle's best friend and the woman I had a drunken one-night stand with.

You can find Parker and Molly’s story in Consumed with Passion.
