Chapter 10

CHAPTER TEN

Sienna

What had I been thinking, letting this happen? No, that wasn’t right. I knew exactly what I’d been thinking when I kissed him: I wanted this. Him. Now. And I wasn’t about to let a little thing like sanity get in my way.

Fury’s lips on mine sent a jolt through my body, short-circuiting any rational thought. All I knew was that I needed more of that electric touch. I wound my arms around his neck, feeling the flex and shift of powerful muscles beneath my palms. His hands roamed eagerly, sending flames licking across my skin even through the thin barrier of my dress.

A sharp intake of breath as he lifted me, my legs locking around his waist. I could feel the hard planes of his body, every ridge and contour, as he pressed against me. My core clenched, aching for more contact, and I squirmed, desperate for relief from the building tension.

He must have felt my need because he suddenly ground his hips into mine, the considerable bulge in his pants igniting a fire. I wanted to feel all of him now. My fingers dug into his shoulders, urging him closer as I arched my back, seeking more friction.

Then his hands were on me, slipping beneath my dress to stroke my overheated skin. With a growl, he hauled me against him, his fingers teasing their way under my panties. The touch of his calloused fingers on my sensitive flesh made me gasp.

“Damn,” he muttered, his breath hot against my mouth. “You’re soaked.”

Soaked? I was a goddamn waterfall. My body was screaming for release, and this delicious man was taking his sweet time. Enough was enough.

“Quit teasing,” I demanded, my voice hoarse. “I need you now.”

A split-second pause, and then he was fumbling with his pants, his eyes dark with desire. “Condom?”

“I’m clean and on birth control. You?” If he wasn’t, I was going to be even more pissed than I already was.

“All good,” he promised as he buried himself to the hilt in one hard thrust.

My head slammed back against the wall from the sudden pressure of him filling me completely. Pleasure and pain blurred together.

“Like a fucking vice,” Fury muttered, every muscle in his body as tight as his voice.

“Talk less,” I managed to get out. “Fuck more.”

He raised his head, his eyes meeting mine. One eyebrow went up.

I clenched around him, feeling his girth, and he growled, the deep, rumbling sound vibrating through me. I’d only ever read about guys doing that, and damn, it was so much hotter in person.

“Fuck me,” I ordered, my voice husky with need. “Or I swear, I’ll go find someone who will.”

The threat died on my lips as he withdrew and then slammed back into me, harder this time. The force of it took my breath away, and I arched my back, pressing myself against him.

He did it again, setting a relentless pace, each thrust pushing me further into the wall.

“Yes, right there,” I hissed, pleasure coiling tight inside me.

Fury said nothing more, clearly taking my instructions to heart. He slammed into me like a man possessed, his body a blur of motion as he drove us both towards the edge. Our grunts and moans filled the room, a carnal symphony that would make a porn star proud.

It was overwhelming, having all his attention, all that raw, primal energy focused on me. I could feel the pressure building, a delicious tension coiling in my core. Fury reached down, cupping my breast in his large hand, squeezing gently at first, and then harder until I cried out. He released my breast, only to pinch and twist my nipple between his thumb and finger, sending a sharp jolt of pain through me. That little bite of pain, mixed with the intense pleasure, was my undoing.

I exploded around him, crying out as my body shattered into a million pieces. I clung to him, my fingers digging into his back as I rode out the waves of my orgasm. Fury buried his face in the curve of my neck, his breath hot against my skin as he found his release. His groan vibrated through me, extending my climax, leaving me boneless and sated.

We stood there, fused together, our hearts beating in unison.

Damn. This was exactly what I needed.

We stayed there for a minute, Fury’s body pinning me to the wall even as his cock softened inside me. Gradually, as the high from my orgasm wore off, I realized what’d happened and was furious at myself for it.

I was furious with him, too. Not for fucking me. Not when I’d initiated the kiss, and then I’d demanded that he fuck me. I’d gotten caught up in the heat of the moment and my stupid, stupid attraction to him. No, I was pissed because I remembered what’d made me mad at him in the first place.

Rose. That gorgeous woman he’d been wrapped around.

I shoved at his chest, and he stepped back, helping me find my feet, both of us suddenly fascinated by our shoes.

“You don’t need to worry, by the way,” I finally bit out, slicing through the quiet.

He looked at me, all genuine confusion, and it was like dumping gasoline on a fire. “Worry about what?”

“I won’t spill the beans to your lady who came to see you about us getting down and dirty.”

His eyebrows shot up. “My lady—wait, you think Rose is my girlfriend?” He touched my arm, and I had no choice but to meet his gaze. “You actually believe I’d walk my girl out of the club and then, what, five minutes later, I’m balls deep in you?”

A cold dread seeped in, suggesting maybe I’d jumped the gun here. But I stiffened my spine and folded my arms. “Enlighten me.”

“Rose is my sister.”

Well, fuck.

Fury shook his head, both disappointment and anger showing on his face. “Maybe Gavin was right about me needing to stay away from you.”

Ouch. I hadn’t known Gavin had said that to Fury, and it hurt more than I would’ve thought.

“I’m not a cheater,” Fury said quietly. Even though he wasn’t shouting, I could see how mad my words had made him.

His reaction, along with everything else that’d just happened, had me off-balance, and that was the only excuse I could think of to explain what came out of my mouth next.

“Yeah, well, most guys don’t exactly consider hooking up with someone like me as actual cheating.”

As soon as the words were out, I clamped my mouth shut, but it was too late. I’d just handed him a piece of my history, something I kept locked up tight. I saw the question in his eyes and knew that he was going to ask what I meant.

So, like any sensible person with their foot jammed in their mouth, I did the only thing I could do.

I ran. Ran and didn’t look back.

I sighed, adjusting the straps on Jasmine’s costume. The sequins were digging into her skin, and I made a mental note to have them re-sewn before tomorrow’s show. My mind was still reeling from the encounter with Fury earlier, but I pushed those thoughts aside. I had a job to do.

“There you go, hon,” I said, patting Jasmine’s shoulder. “How does that feel?”

She twisted, checking her reflection in the mirror. “Much better. Thanks, Sienna.”

I was about to respond when I caught sight of Dodd in the mirror, hovering in the doorway. Great. What now?

“Dodd,” I said, turning to face him. “Everything okay out there?”

He stepped into the dressing room, his eyes darting around nervously. “Yeah, all good. I, uh, actually wanted to talk to you about something.”

I raised an eyebrow. “Oh?”

He cleared his throat. “I’ve been watching the routines, you know? And I’ve been practicing a bit in my spare time.”

I blinked, trying to process what he was saying. “You’ve been... practicing our performances?”

He nodded eagerly. “Yeah! I mean, I know I’m not a professional or anything, but I think I’ve got some moves.”

I chuckled. “Okay, Dodd. And why exactly have you been practicing?”

He shifted his weight, looking uncomfortable. “Well, the thing is, I’m kind of in a tight spot financially. I was hoping maybe I could audition? You know, to perform in some of the private parties or something?”

I stared at him, momentarily speechless. Dodd, our head of security, wanted to be a performer? It was so absurd I almost laughed, but the desperate look in his eyes stopped me.

“Dodd,” I said gently, “I appreciate your... enthusiasm. But you’re our head of security. It’s not exactly common for security personnel to double as performers.”

He nodded quickly. “I know. But hear me out. I’m in really good shape, right? And I’ve been told I’m not too hard on the eyes.” He flashed a grin that I had to admit was pretty charming. “Plus, I already know the club, the clientele. I could be a real asset.”

I considered his words. It was true, Dodd was in excellent shape and undeniably attractive. And with Venus gone and two other performers out of commission, we were seriously short-staffed. If he could actually perform...

“Look,” Dodd continued, sensing my hesitation, “there’s a private party this weekend, right? I helped arrange it. Why don’t you let me be a part of it? Consider it my audition. If I suck, no harm done. But if I’m good...” He trailed off, leaving the possibility hanging in the air.

I bit my lip, weighing the pros and cons. On one hand, it was a risky move. Dodd had no professional experience, and letting him perform at a private party might damage our reputation. On the other hand, we were desperate for performers, and if he was even halfway decent, it could be a temporary solution to our staffing problem.

“Alright,” I said finally, holding up a hand to stop his excited response. “But let’s get one thing straight. This is a one-time thing, got it? If you’re terrible, that’s it. No second chances.”

Dodd nodded eagerly. “Of course, of course. Thank you, Sienna. You won’t regret this.”

As he turned to leave, practically bouncing with excitement, I called after him. “Dodd!”

He turned back, eyebrows raised.

“Be here two hours before the party starts. We need a medical and get you fitted for a costume.”

He grinned and gave me a mock salute before disappearing down the hallway.

I turned back to Jasmine, who had been watching the entire exchange with wide eyes.

“Did that really just happen?” she asked, a hint of amusement in her voice.

I shook my head, still not quite believing it myself. “Apparently so.”
