He woke up in a fur bed. As he woke up delirious. He took a moment to calm himself, pieces of information came to his mind.
"Awake? " the voice immediately stopped him from remembering. As he raised his gaze and froze.
She was leaning on the mouth of the cave. Her body covered with a piece of animal skin. The rest of her uncovered body was blinding and soft.
Even the cleavage of her breast looked so bouncy.
If it weren't for her tail, he would assume she is a herbivore because of her curved horns.
"Call me mytha.. "
".. Xarius.. " he murmured. Suddenly finding himself flustered. He look around, there was no smell or any sign of her males. "Your males.. "
"Dont have one"
She shrugged.
Definitely looking like she had no interest in the topic. So he closed his mouth.
He just kept asking questions to himself. He look down at his wounds. Finding it non surprising to see it all healed.
Even his legs.
"What u said.. " he asks, looking at her figure.
"I need a mate to reproduce.. I dont need a marking" she chuckles.
Looking at him. "You were the most interesting"
She may be some kind of predator. But he had never heard or seen a horned reptile.
He can assume she is some kind of reptile just base on the black cold sharp scales on her tail.
Even just looking at it give him the shivers.
Xarius is already getting old. If he dont advance to 5 mark. He would die soon. And its still his deepest regret of not having a cub.
But now.. This beautiful female is here.
"After that? " yet his curiousity was still stronger.
She looks at him. " i will leave u the child.. And i will still come to visit once in a while.. You see.. Im not a person to stay in one place"
Actually she is. But she seem to have this sudden urge to travel this world.. And produce along the way.
Shes a dragon, too prideful to be tied down by a creature below her.
He nodded, he just concluded that they just decided to have a cub, and both would be satisfied in the arrangement.
So the two, despite an awkward meeting finally compromised.
Actually they can mate as early and not wait for the mating season which is already a week away.
But.. She wants to laze around for a bit.
Xarius recovered from his injury, and he soon began to join the warriors in hunting and patrolling.
He was abandoned by his mate agda, who is known to be the most beautiful woman on the tribe.
And a lot of males give him sympathetic glances. Agda learned of his recovery. She seem to be thinking how he can survive with such a wound.
One of her mates who went with xarius told her that xarius had obtained a green crystal. Causing her to scoff and explode in anger.
Xarius had just taken a horned beast to her cave. As he pauses on the mouth of the cave. Watching the lazy beauty laying down on her fur bed.
Her long white legs looking so tantalizing under the light, and her chest bouncing with every movement.
Her golden eyes lazily stared at him, while her lips twirled the Berry like fruit inside of her mouth.
He almost stopped breathing at the sight of her. And his eyes darkened. Thinking silently how would her legs feel wrapped around his waist.
She look at his hunt. "My eyes are here" she chuckles.
He cleared his throat, setting down the skinned prey. "Theres a lot of powerful males in the city " he started. Looking at her. "You can.. Have as many as u want"
Shes too beautiful to not have any beast willing to sign up for her. But she doesn't come out of her cave at all.
She licked her lips. Her eyes filled with disinterest. "For what? "
"... Protection? "
She chuckles. As if there is something funny about what he said. "You're funny"
"Besides, i have u.. " she said boredly. Not caring anymore as she continues to eat the Berry.
She didn't even care how much her words actually made his chest a bit frantic.
"Xarius! " the voice of an angry female calles outside the cave. It was agda.
Xarius frowned. "Stay here"
"Sure" mytha replied as she continues to suckle on the berrys.
Agda, with her mates was below the cave. His eyea hardened seeing her. "What is it"
"Xarius.. " agda grittes her teeth. "Why didnt u give me the green crystal"
He frowned. "Youre not my mate"
"You dare! You actually went for another female as soon as i abandoned you!? "
Seeing a lot of people crowding, agda liked that. As tears fell from her eyes.
"You know i want the green crystal.. And you actually went to give it to some female"
Xarius have seen her used this trick so many times. That he actually worries more for himself.
The crowd look at him with judging eyes. Of course no one would ask if its the male who really sinned. As long as another female is involved. It will always be the males fault.
"You abandoned me first before i could give u the crystal" xarius said with a frown.
Agda cried harder. "And youre not denying that u gave it to some female! "
Xarius did not know how to deny or help himself of the situation. In a primitive world where all faults would fall on the male, males just accept it as their fault without fighting much.
Its the law.. A stupid law.
Mytha rolls her eyes as she lay on the fur bed.
As she lazily stood up, and went outside.
The people watching are already turning to agdas side. As long as its a female.. Its right.
Agda hid a smile as she watch with interest. Teara still falling from her eyes.
As if on que, they felt as if the surrounding became quiet.
As the sound of footsteps from the cave behind xarius was the only thing echoing in their ears.
From the dim cave, emerged a female.
The curved dark horns glint under the sun.
As a female emerge from inside. It was no exaggeration when as if all of them stopped breathing.
Agdas pupils constricted. The female stood proud and immeasurably beautiful.
Her golden eyes were sharp and lazy, her huge and black scaled tail lazily swayed behind her.
At agdas shock, even her tears stopped falling.
The females golden eyes looks at her. "Xarius gave me the green crystal,.. What does that have to do with u? "
Agda glared, "you.. "
Mytha smiles. Curving her eyes. "You were not his mate when he gave me the crystal. Lets say.. I was just lucky when i picked him up" she click her tongue.
Agdas eyes were bursting with fire. Yet somehow she could open her mouth to retaliate.
She just found herself staring at the females golden eyes. As she found herself turning around and leaving the scene in anger.
Mytha curved her lips.
A pout came to her lips when she felt the hot gazes of the males and females alike staring at her.
She look at xarius, smirking. "Now.. Dont let anyone come disturb me" and she went inside the cave.
Xarius raises a brow. And finally noticing the hot gazes of unmated males on her.
His eyes sharpened. Shes giving him the right to turn and fight away other males aiming for a spot on the mating season.
Clearly, he already have it.. Of course he wont give it to others.
Only a fool would.
