Xarius came from hunt, his wolf form huge and bloodied, putting down the hunt in his mouth to the ground.
Then looking up,
Huge wings, flying up from the mouth of the volcano, came down , she landed in front of him,..
Smiling and beautiful as always. Eith her belly slightly arched,
Hes used to it now, new things he discovered about her.
She use to remember the day he stood dumbfounded at the sight of her wings when she first showed it to him.
He is interesting, he didn't question her, despite his obvious curiosity. He remains silent and accepted the things that is shown to him.

She checked the lava in the volcano again today,
The volcano is active,.. But she knows it wont erupt at least for years, and the lava was the perfect place to incubate them.
She watch boredly, fingers on her belly..
Counting..

She was satisfied enough to feel them healthy, she made an estimation. Shes already been pregnant for a month.. , she will give birth in 3 more months..
It still amazes her, how fast these beastmen reproduce.
Maybe.. Just maybe in this place. She can start a new race of dragons. May it be Half-Bloods.. But still, they are dragons.

She was laying inside her cave, covered by soft furs as she gently caress her belly.
Xarius was busy outside, making tables and wooden bowls, and even making a simple road up the volcani straight to the mouth where the bubbling lava is.
As he was working, his nose moved. His ears perked up, he look up , looking at the trees below.
He smelled intruders, not monsters. But beastmans too.
Mytha was lying down on her fur of bed, she had long know there were newcomers, she had felt them long before he does.
But she kept silent, just lying down with her eyes closed.
She can hear and see everything even when shes laying down like a salted fish.
Xarius put down the things in hand, and he stood still in his place, watching the edge of the forest with squinted eyes. Ready to turn to beast at any moment.
Then the bushes parted,
A female helping a wounded male came from the parted bushes. The female, with blood dripping from her forehead, was wearing a brown dirty fur.
She looked like a herbivore.
Her eyes widening a bit to see xarius standing, looking at them with cold glint in his eyes.
The females fear halted, when one more wounded male came from the bushes. Urging the female to run.
"Run! Hasia! "
The newcomers was hastily looking back, afraid that the monster had followed them. Urging hasia to run faster., but realized hasia hasnt move.
The new comer looked at xarius, a surprise glint in his eyes. .. The mark on xarius body.. Shows he is a 5 mark male. Making the mans eye brighten.
"Please help! Theres a monster! He killed 4 of our brothers! "
Hasia came to reality, she gasp and blinked . "He.. Help us!!! "
Xarius tilted his head, he really didn't have any intention to help them, but these people themselves entered his place. Sending the monsters on his territory.
He frowned, he didn't want to wake up mytha resting in the den, comfortable and nestling in their nest.
Another male, emerged from the bush, panting, "run! "
The bush parted, a horde of metal like armored beast appeared on the clearing. These herbivores. , xarius cursed under his breath. These new comers came here bringing this stupid farce.
The leader of the beast landed on xarius. Because he was the strongest and was the most dangerous in its instincts.
The beast covered in thick armor glared, smoke coming out of its nose as it huff, its forelimb tapping on the dirt.
Before the beast lead its horde to attack, the appearance of someone made its eyes constrict.
Mytha appeared suddenly, unknown and undetected by them. Her lazy golden eyes looking at the eyes of that beast. The beast eyes widened. Then it immediately turn to ran, making the land tremble for a moment. The horde following behind it.
Hasia took a deep shaky breath,.. Tears fell from her eyes. She had only 3 males out of 7 now..
She smiled, tears dripping down her face and was about to thank xarius when her eyes was caught by some golden sheen in the corner.
Mytha stood there, lazy, holding the bump in her belly. Mythas lazy golden eyes ran through hasia who froze and could only watch.
Xarius turn to her, not throwing a glance at the newcomers. and worried immediately covered his face. "Why did you come out. Its dangerous.. " he immediately ran to her, assisting her.
"Are you cold? " his voice is so filled with doting, making mytha smiled helplessly.
and she herself welcomed the shocked gazes of the newcomers.
".. May i.. Know ".. She ask them.
Hasia blinked, shy and Embarassed at the sight of mathias eyes landing on her, oh.. She is so beautiful..
" i.. Im hasia, im a squirrel beastman. Th.. These are my males. "
Mytha nodded, smiling at xarius, her hand raised to pinch and rub his wolf ears. "Its better to help them recover.. Ill be inside the den"
Xarius tail wagged, and he nodded with a serious face. He assisted her back inside the den.
Then looking at them, he was back to being cold, "i have herbs, but i wont hunt for you"
He didn't want to help them if it werent for her., all the thing he hunts would just be for mytha and himself.
Hasia nodded in understanding, at least they are safe.. Hasia surviving males are only 3. The most wounded was asak. Who she helped earlier, the least wounded would be the two, Ven and bien.
Ven and bien work the most, making a simple shelter of wood and leaves. They dont dare dig a cave without the permission of xarius. He was a 5 mark male, he can kill them if he wanted to.
Hearing the gentle footsteps. Hasias eyes brightened. She peeked and saw it was mytha, she blush more. Putting a strand of hair behind her ear.
Even hasias males are peeking once in a while,
Mytha was planning to take a breather. Knowing xarius had gone out to hunt early. It left her mind that there were newcomers in the place.
Mytha gave a polite lazy smile. ".. Have you been well?"
Hasia nodded. " yes.. I.. Uhm.. " she look at her belly. Only then hasia look around and frown. Such a beautiful female.. And she only have one male protecting her..
Mytha noticed her gaze. She smiles. Not giving any explanation to hasias obvious curiosity.
The bushes parted, revealing xarius carrying a huge deer. He threw it in the corner, then walking to mytha eagerly. His huge form easily covering hers,
Mytha look at him in the eyes, smiling softly. Helplessness in her eyes too.
".. I think you need to work faster on the road up the volcano, for you to easily reach the top. I miscalculated.. " mytha laughed helplessly. "I may give birth next week.. "
She sighed helplessly.
