TIME’S UP #2

Paralyzed, Toni’s hand slipped to her side, and tears spilled down her cheeks.

She knew nothing was promised in this world, and life had already been beyond unfair to her.

Bronx was the only thing she had; the only person who seemed to give a damn about what happened to her.

Without him, she didn’t know who she was or how to survive.

He’d come into her life when she was at what she thought was rock bottom.

Accepting her fate, she looked into the cold, desolate eyes of the man she knew would end her life and lifted her chin. His mouth curled into a grin.

“Her fine ass got some heart in her chest. Don’t waste it on the wrong mothafucka, shorty,” he warned, raising his arm.

He struck her across her face with his gun, sending Toni crumbling to the ground, listening to their footsteps stepping past her to leave.

She lifted her head to try and see something or say something, but her blurred vision subdued her.

On her side, breath shallow, fading in and out, she heard the door slam shut.

A buzzing sound pulled her back from the brink.

She didn’t know how much time passed, and for a moment, she thought she was imagining it.

Barely lifting her head from the carpet, her eyes skimmed the room.

One of them was sealed shut from her injuries.

It registered with her that the sound was coming from the couch.

Doing a sloth crawl in that direction, it seemed like an eternity before she finally arrived near the cushions.

She listened to the buzzing noise until she thought she located it.

Tucking her hand underneath one of the cushions, she felt around until her fingers brushed across something.

She gripped the burner phone in her hand and didn’t bother trying to figure out who was calling.

She didn’t care. Flipping the phone open, she immediately brought it against her ear.

“Help me,” were the last words she could utter before a sharp, throbbing pain shot through her temples, and her eyes pitched to the back of her head, making everything dark.

“We heading to the drop. You sure you ain’t trying to roll? We going to Tail Spin.” Oracle’s tatted arm hung out the window of the white van.

He flashed his diamond grill when he grinned, causing it to sparkle off the streetlights above them on the block.

“No. Fuck you.” Niva flicked her middle finger in the air with a harsh glare from the passenger seat of her man’s whip.

“Ain’t nobody even talkin’ to yo’ ol’ cucumber head ass, though.” Oracle sucked his teeth, annoyance swirling through his hazel eyes. “Bro, leave her ass here and link up with us. Acting like that nigga Bronx now, always gotta be caked up with a bitch.”

“Why don’t you go get your own bitch, Oracle, and quit trying to drag Eazy into hoe activities? You already got a baby and a possible,” Niva mocked.

“You know all about hoe activities, too, don’t you, Niva?” Oracle taunted with a chortle.

“Eat a dick!” Niva shot back at him.

“Both of y’all shut the fuck up. We out.” Jasiel, also known as Jewel to those closest in his life, shifted gears from the driver’s seat and tapped the gas.

The van maneuvered away and hit the first corner, so Eazy relaxed in his seat and brought a freshly rolled blunt to his lips.

This motherfucker was much needed after the night he’d had.

Laughing, he shook his head and took a quick tug before glancing across the seat at his girl.

Niva was bad. She was thick, how he liked his women.

Usually, she rocked a bust down, but since it was almost summer, she had her shit in some knotless braids swept into a bun, showing off the tattoos on her neck.

Her butter pecan skin could really rock any hair color.

She stayed switching it up and changing her look.

One day it was long and wavy, and the next it might be in a pixie cut of a completely different color.

She played her role to the letter in their crew and kept it hood if nothing else. Eazy loved that about her the most.

“I don’t know why you’re still friends with that clown,” she complained, her face twisted in an annoyed grimace.

“Nigga ain’t just my friend. Y’all worse than some toxic exes,” Eazy quipped, keeping the smoke in his lungs before exhaling. “I don’t know why you let him fuck with you like that.” He studied the blunt between his fingertips and exhaled.

With an eye roll, Niva untucked her arms from across her chest. He was right.

Oracle pushed all her buttons, though, and she hated it.

The three of them grew up together and went back to playground days.

She used to think she had a thing for Oracle, but all he did was talk shit and belittle her.

Eazy was always taking up for her and making sure she was good.

Somehow, she ended up falling for him. Even now, she fell in love off a glance at him across the seat.

This man claimed a part of her that another would never be able to touch.

No relationship was perfect, but the good thing about them was they didn’t have to fake anything with each other.

He was her safe space, and she needed that in her life more than anything.

“You were fucking brilliant tonight, E,” Niva cooed, her soft brown eyes sparkling as she crept across the seat and positioned herself over his dick.

“Shit was a group effort, baby.” Eazy’s strong hands cupped her ass, settled comfortably in the seat of his old school Monte Carlo.

He loved this damn car. It belonged to his father, and his grandfather gifted it to him on his twenty-first birthday.

He’d rebuilt the engine and had it repainted and everything since then.

Being a collector, he had several other luxury vehicles, but this was his baby.

Most of his cars were in a storage facility on the edge of town.

“I love you.” Niva crashed her plump, matte red lips into his and tongued him down.

Her dainty hand stroked his abs until she reached the zipper of his pants.

Eazy’s big fingers pried at her leather jacket, peeling it from her soft skin and showing off her bare shoulders in the spaghetti strapped top.

After pulling off what they thought was a nearly impossible heist, they were coming down from their adrenaline high.

Used to capping off that type of energy with several orgasms, Niva anticipated her nut long before Eazy delivered it.

It was nothing for them to get it in any and everywhere.

That included the curb outside the apartment building where she lived with her cousin Melinda.

Moving to the passenger seat, she removed her panties from under the leather mini skirt wrapped around her waist. With her ass tooted in the air, propped on her knees, she grabbed his length and swiped her tongue across the tip.

The slow circle motions sent Eazy’s head slapping against the leather of his headrest. Eyes closing in bliss, he reclined his seat to give her more room to get the job done.

“Shit, Niva—” Eazy grunted, stroking the back of her head while she went sloppy with it, gulping his dick hungrily.

Toes tingling, he slammed his eyes shut and busted a walnut in her mouth. Swallowing every drop, Niva hummed over his thick tool until he was hard again.

“I fucking love you too.” Snatching her by the neck, he positioned her back across his lap.

She dropped an arm against his shoulder and used her free hand to grasp his pulsing dick and guide it to her wet middle.

Inch by inch, he stretched her out, and Niva’s soft moans turned cavernous until she reached the base.

Looking into her eyes, Eazy’s entire world was wrapped up in this girl.

Since he was seven years old, she was the only person who truly accepted him for the volatile, vengeful, calculating motherfucker he was.

He was convinced another bitch walking this earth would never be able to deal with a man like him.

He was a problem before he knew how his dick worked, but as a grown man, he still often behaved like a child.

Not only did Niva relate to it, but she nurtured it.

She didn’t judge him. Half the time she was ready to ride shotgun in whatever adventure he wanted to go on next.

For them, it was fuck the world and everybody in it.

“I want you to put a baby in me, E.” Niva moaned, her pussy getting wetter and gripping him something tough.

It wasn’t the first time she’d brought this up.

He always told her their life wasn’t built for that shit, and he didn’t think either of them was ready for anything like that.

One thing was for certain; he couldn’t picture a life without Niva in it.

If having his seed made her happy, who was he to deny her that?

He figured life would change, and she wouldn’t be the woman he was used to having at his side.

Having kids usually changed everything in a relationship.

He’d seen the shit happen more than once.

Two people could be living in bliss, enjoying their freedom, and then one day they wake up resenting each other because they’re tied down to a snot nosed kid they had to provide for.

He didn’t want them to become that or for her to become resentful of him.

Putting his life on hold for a picket fence and domesticated life wasn’t something he planned for either.

“Fuck!” Eazy grunted, slamming into her with force, making her leak on his shit.
