Chapter 1 #3
I looked away, ashamed of the truth. I couldn’t remember the last time someone wanted to take care of me. I was always the one taking control and caring about everyone else.
She gripped my chin and turned my face towards her, our eyes meeting. “?qué pasó? What’s wrong?”
I was having so many mixed emotions. I was feeling turned on the more she spoke Spanish and looked at me with those eyes, but at the same time I was feeling terrified.
Was I really about to be vulnerable with a complete stranger? I doubted we’d ever see each other again so I decided to just go for it. Plus, there was something soft about her, that made me feel safe revealing a small piece of myself. I remembered why I rarely drank anything stronger than wine.
“I can’t remember the last time someone took care of me, or even wanted to for that matter.” I shook my head. “Wow, I’m sorry. What a mood killer. Let’s change the subject please.”
She looked at me almost sympathetically. Great, once again, I opened my big mouth and ruined the mood. Not that there was anything to ruin, but still. We were having a great time, and I’d said too much.
Before I could apologize, it was gone and she nodded. “As you wish. What would you like to talk about? I’m open to suggestions.”
Honestly, I didn’t want to talk anymore. I wanted to dance and drink and not think about anything else.
“How about no more talking? I want to get caught up in the music and forget about everything for one night. Do you think you can help with that?”
The look in her eyes became devious. I wanted to correct her thinking, knowing she thought I meant helping me forget more than just by dancing, but for some reason, the words never came out.
“It would be my absolute pleasure.” There was that damn smile again. If she kept doing that, I was going to wake up with all sorts of regrets in the morning.
After that, there was no more talking. At least for our mouths. We let our bodies carry on the conversation, swaying and spinning in close proximity. I always found dancing to be extremely erotic, and tonight was no different.
Perhaps it was the alcohol that heightened everything. Perhaps it was the dance itself we were performing, or perhaps it was the partner I had. The song playing was a fast-paced latin song I’d never heard, but it seemed Vera had.
She was spinning me around and bringing me so close our lips almost touched as she mouthed the words to the song. I had no clue what they were saying, but I picked up little words like “heart” and “love.”
She never took her eyes off me and mine never left hers. Even though we were strangers, we followed each other seamlessly and danced as if we’d known each other for years.
It seemed I might not have worn the right dress for the night. The slit on both sides went up to my hips, and Vera looked to be enjoying them. Whenever our bodies were centimeters apart, I’d feel her fingers grazing the skin there, just barely, and I’d suppress a shiver.
That part of my leg was one of my weak spots and having her touch me there was doing things to me. Things it wouldn’t normally do. Once again, I blamed everything I was feeling on the alcohol.
It didn’t matter that I was only barely drunk, but sober enough to consent to everything that was happening. I kept telling myself it was the drinking that was making me feel things I shouldn’t have been.
The song had gotten more intense and we never took our eyes off each other.
The look in her eyes matched the one I felt in mine.
I was breathing so heavily, she had to have heard it over the music.
I went to the gym regularly, so I wasn’t sure why I felt like I’d run a marathon up a hill.
I knew my skin felt hot because of the drinks and the dancing.
But the pulsing feeling in my core? That was still a mystery to me.
That feeling had been slowly building all night, and now I felt like I was going to explode if I didn’t do something about it.
I was breathing heavily and felt like my heart was going to burst. She was looking at me with those damn eyes but her smile had disappeared.
Her expression was nothing short of heat and desire.
The way her eyes darted from my mouth to my eyes.
The way she so subtly bit her bottom lip had me saying “fuck it” in my head.
What was the worst thing that could happen?
I’d get a night of relief and move on? It wasn’t like we’d ever see each other again.
If she lived in Seattle, I would’ve run into her by now.
Before I even had time to process, we were both leaning in closer until our lips crashed together.
Good lord! It was crazy how you could go from zero to sixty-nine, all from a kiss. I didn’t know how much longer I’d last until I was dragging her to my room. I didn’t care that she wasn’t my type, a naked woman who could give me an orgasm was.
“Do you want to take this up to my room?” I whispered when she broke the kiss. I didn’t care if it sounded desperate, I needed more of that moment. More of that kiss.
Maybe it was the alcohol. Maybe it was her accent. Maybe it was everything. The gates had been opened by that kiss, and nothing else was going to satisfy the ache that had been slowly building all night.
She brushed my cheek with her thumb and leaned in close. “Why don’t we go to my room, princesa? Let someone else take control and show you how good it can feel.”
I whimpered. That sounded good to me, so long as we got out of there, and fast. “Okay,” was all I could choke out.
She took my hand and led me out of the ballroom.
When we reached the elevators and the doors closed fully, she was on me, pushing me back against the wall and kissing me with so much heat, my leg involuntarily moved to wrap around her side.
She held my thigh, holding me in place, and I was getting wetter by the second.
The way she kissed was filled with so much passion, it had me anticipating and eagerly awaiting the night ahead.
She let one strap of my dress fall off my shoulder before the elevator stopped and she stepped away. I hurried to fix it, but sagged in relief when the hallway was empty.
We laughed and made our way to her room, her hand never leaving mine. Did she think I was going to run away if she let go? It hadn’t even crossed my mind. I was in too deep. From the moment I let her kiss me, I knew there was no turning back.
I knew, in hindsight, I could’ve put a stop to it at any point. Before she opened the door, I could’ve said something and I believed she would’ve respected it. The thing was, though, that I didn’t want to.
Maybe this was good for me. I couldn’t see myself dating someone like her long term, but maybe a night of fun was just what I needed. I needed a night of stress-relief and Vera seemed like someone who was willing to help out anyone in need.
When we got inside her room, I expected to be back against the door or the wall, but instead, she turned on the light. “Can I get you something to drink?”
I laughed, involuntarily, and quickly covered my mouth in embarrassment. “I’m so sorry. I just didn’t expect that to be the first thing you said. I’m okay, though. Thank you.”
She looked at me with a raised brow. “What was it that you expected me to say, then?”
“Honestly? I didn’t expect any talking.”
“I may not look like it, Cara, but I am still a lady. I can be respectful, even if we may never see each other again. But I can also be disrespectful, if that’s what you want. What is it that you want from this?”
My face flushed at the promise in her words and I shrugged. “You’re in control, remember?”
She nodded, taking a step closer to me. “Yes, princesa, I am in control, but I still need your consent. We both need to be on the same page. So tell me what you want. Do you want to continue or do you want to stop? Do you want me to make you come so hard you’ll have trouble walking tomorrow? Or do you want to sit down, and—”
I cut her off with a kiss, no longer interested in talking. I wanted anything and everything she promised.
She pulled back, only enough to say, “Consent, princesa.”
I wasted no time nodding. “Yes. I want this.” She smiled wide and our mouths were connected once more, thank fuck.
The straps of my dress fell off my shoulders. The buttons of her shirt separated. My shoes came off. Her shirt came off. My dress hit the floor. My legs lifted off the floor as she picked me up and carried me deeper into the room.
Our lips never parted and she threw me on the bed, as if I was as light as a feather before working to take my bra off. I squealed in surprise and by the time I was able to finally catch my breath and open my eyes, I was sitting there in only a lace black thong.
“?Ay dios mío! You are a work of art,” she whispered.
She brought her hand up to my face and kissed me again. When we parted, I finally found my voice. “Can… Can I see you?” I asked nervously. I needed to see all of her.
She smiled and nodded, taking off her bra and pants until she was in nothing but her mask and black boxers. She went to take off her mask, but I stopped her with a hand on her wrist.
“Leave it,” I said. “It’s sexy.” I still had mine on and the thought of having this night with them on made it all the more erotic.
She laughed and started kissing me again, but her lips didn’t stay on mine.
They traveled to my shoulder, then my collarbone, and the moan that came out when she sucked one already hard nipple in her mouth, would’ve been embarrassing if I had any other thoughts besides how good it felt.
It had been so long since my body had gotten attention from someone besides myself, and it was all so much.
She teased my nipples for what seemed like forever, flicking and sucking each one. I wanted to ask her to move her mouth lower, but I didn’t need to. Before I could get a word out, she started trailing kisses down the rest of my body.
