Chapter 9

DOMINIC

His lips are soft. Softer than I expected.

There’s a trace of sugar from the Dr Pepper he was drinking earlier, and salt from the sweat on his upper lip.

I taste it as our mouths crash together, a clash of teeth and tongues.

He’s moaning into my mouth, shuddering, coming all over the bedspread in hot, wet spurts.

His hole clenches around me, a tight, vise-like grip, and I’m right there with him.

I kiss him harder, swallowing his cries, my tongue deep in his mouth, claiming him from the inside out.

I should have done this sooner. I realize that now.

I’ve been holding back, keeping a sliver of distance between us.

And why? Because I was afraid of what it would mean?

Because I thought kissing a man was some kind of line I couldn’t uncross?

Too late for that. I crossed all the lines hours ago, at a grimy rest stop in the middle of nowhere.

Ryan shakes under me. My orgasm barrels through me, starting in my toes and working its way up my spine.

With a final, muffled shout, I empty myself inside him, spilling so deep, so much, my body shuddering with the force of it.

My hips pressed tight against his ass, my cock all the way in, filling him up just like he begged me to.

Ropes and ropes of cum, more than I thought I had left in me after the bathroom.

He’s still kissing me. Or I’m still kissing him. I can’t tell anymore. His tongue against mine, his teeth catching my lower lip, both of us breathing into each other’s mouths. It’s more intimate than anything else we’ve done.

I keep pumping. Slow now. Riding out the last of it, each thrust pushing my cum deeper into him, feeling it leak out around the base of my shaft.

His cock is still twitching, the last of his release coating my fingers.

It’s warm and sticky. I bring my hand up between us and smear it across his stomach.

We stay like that for a long moment. My cock softening inside him, our mouths pressed together, breathing in the aftermath. My chest is heaving against his back, sweat dripping from my hair onto his shoulder.

Then, slowly, I pull out. The wet slide of it is obscene. As soon as I’m out, a trickle of my cum starts to leak, trailing down the inside of his thigh. I spread his ass cheeks and look down at my handiwork. His hole is puffy and red, gaping open, glistening with lube and cum.

A fucking beautiful sight.

Ryan collapses onto the bed with a groan, then rolls onto his back.

I drop down next to him, our shoulders touching, both of us staring at the ceiling.

The room looks like a crime scene. A scuff mark on the wall from the headboard.

The bedspread stained with all kinds of body fluids.

The lube bottle on its side, leaking onto the nightstand.

For a while, the only sounds are our ragged breathing and the rattling of the air conditioner.

My body feels heavy. Sated. All the anger and frustration I’ve been carrying around for weeks feel like they’ve been drained out of me, replaced by something I haven’t felt in a long time. Calm.

“Sorry about the kiss,” Ryan says, turning his head to look at me. Those pale blue eyes have a hazy, satisfied look. “Couldn’t help it.”

“Did it feel like I was stopping you?”

He smiles. “Felt like the opposite.”

“So why are you apologizing?”

“Because you’re straight.”

I roll onto my side to face him. My arm drapes over his chest, my fingers tracing the sticky lines on his stomach. “Am I?”

“Are you what?”

“Straight.”

“Well, that’s what you told me anyway.” He looks at me, a little confused. “Why? Did I change your mind?”

“Let’s just say you made me question a few things.” I lean in and kiss him again. His eyes go wide, like he didn’t expect it a second time. Then they close, and he kisses me back. Deeper. His hand comes up to cup the back of my neck, pulling me closer.

“Dominic,” he says when he breaks away.

“Mmm?”

“Can you hold me for a moment?”

I pull him against me, his back against my chest, tucking his head under my chin.

He’s so warm. Skin slick with sweat, sticking to mine.

My softening dick nestles against the curve of his ass.

I run a hand down his chest, over his stomach, to the coarse hair around his cock, then back up again, feeling the fine tremors still running through him.

“Thank you,” he says quietly.

“For what?”

“For giving me exactly what I asked for. And for not bailing right after.”

“Were you worried I would?”

He presses closer, tucking his arm over mine. “Well, I still have to get you to the parts store. So that’s some leverage. But honestly? Yeah. Most guys, they get what they want, and they’re gone. It’s transactional.”

I tighten my arm around him. “That’s not me.”

“I’m starting to see that.” He’s quiet for a second. “I could do this all day,” he whispers. “Just lie here like this with you.”

“You know what I think?” I say, my lips brushing his ear.

“What?”

“You act all tough and provocative. Like you just want to be used. But underneath it? You’re a fucking romantic.”

He laughs. “Shh. Don’t tell anyone.”

“Your secret’s safe with me.”

“Yeah,” he says. “To be honest, I’m fucking lonely sometimes. And it’s a hell of a lot easier to get someone to fuck you than to love you.”

That one hits me right in the gut. I don’t know what to say to that, so I hold him tighter.

“Sorry, man,” he says. “Didn’t mean to get all emotional on you.”

“Don’t worry about it.”

He turns over in my arms so we’re face to face. “You’re a good guy, Dominic. And for the record, the rough stuff was hot as hell.” He presses his forehead against mine. “But I could get used to this part, too.”

“That makes two of us.” Being in charge of him, dominating him, was a rush. But this? Lying here, holding him, listening to him breathe? It feels just as good. Maybe even better.

“You don’t have to say that just to be nice.”

“I’m not.” I trace the line of his jaw with my thumb. “I’m really not.”

He smiles. It’s a genuine smile, not the cocky smirk he wears like armor. It changes his whole face. “So, you think you might want to do this again?”

“I think I might want to do this right now.”

“But…” He gestures toward the room, the mess, the afternoon light slanting through the cheap curtains. “We’ve got that whole… car situation.”

“That parts store is probably closed by now. And I don’t know about you, but I don’t feel like putting my clothes back on.”

“Well, we have this room until tomorrow morning.”

“Let’s not waste it, then.”

He reaches down between us and wraps a hand around me. I’m getting hard again.

“Already?” he whispers.

“Blame yourself.”
