Epilogue #2

‘Fine,’ he said, voice ravenous. ‘I told you I’d have to gag you if you made a noise.’ He paused, and I nearly screamed at not being able to see him. ‘So be it,’ he said, before I felt him straddle me, pinning me to the blanket, and plunging his cock inside my mouth.

I gasped before I could stretch my mouth to fit his girth.

Fuck, it was so big. I opened as much as I could as he started thrusting into me, filling me whole.

I gagged lightly when the back of his cock hit my throat, but pushed past it, tightening my lips around him and lapping my tongue against his tip.

He thought he was punishing me?

I’ll punish him right back.

I smirked around his length when I heard him moan, then heard his grunt of disapproval.

‘You’re not supposed to be enjoying yourself,’ he complained.

I shrugged my shoulders as much as I could.

‘You’re going to be the death of me,’ he said, then pushed himself in deeper, making me gag again as my eyes started to water under the blindfold.

‘That’s it, my perfect girl. You take me so well.

’ His tone was laced with pleasure. ‘You look so beautiful with my dick inside you.’ One of his hands cupped my cheek, wiped away a tear that had escaped the blindfold – so gentle compared to what he was doing to me. ‘You’re so good,’ he growled.

I let out a low, quiet whimper, pleasure growing rapidly within me.

I wanted to speak. I wanted to tell him that I needed him inside me…

Now. But I couldn’t, and it was making me burn with a fire that I’d never felt before.

A need I’d never imagined. I felt like my world was setting on fire with all the emotions flying through me.

Archer let out a desperate groan and pulled out of me. I sucked in a full breath.

‘Turn around,’ he demanded, and before I could move, he’d flipped me over onto my front, my face turned to the side on the soft pillow as he forced my hips upwards so I was bare before him. He thrust into me so quickly I screamed.

He held me firmly at my waist and buried himself in me, right to the hilt.

‘You’re so tight,’ he growled as he pulled out to the tip, just to thrust back in even harder.

‘Archer,’ I screamed.

‘That’s it,’ he growled. ‘Scream my name.’

So I did.

One of his hands reached over me to wrap my ponytail in his fist and he pulled. Hard. Pleasure rocketed through me at the mix of pain and utter euphoria.

The waves of my orgasm grew stronger and stronger, faster and faster as he took me. It felt as if my entire body – my entire soul – now belonged to him. The pleasure was almost too much to bear.

We both hit our apex together. I moaned and squeezed my eyes closed beneath the blindfold as he thrust into me one last time, moaning my name.

After the last round of bliss had eased, legs shaking, I fell to the blanket, exhaustion and giddiness filling my body. Archer untied both ribbons and lay down next to me on the blanket. He turned his head to mine, his eyes the most dangerous thunderstorms.

‘You’re perfect,’ he whispered, and kissed me deeply.

‘There’s one thing I still can’t figure out…’ I whispered as Archer refilled our glasses. We’d run out of wine, so he’d gone to fetch more from his new office.

‘What’s that?’ he asked.

‘Well… who sent Boo to us with that key?’

He thought for a moment before shaking his head. ‘I have no idea,’ he said. ‘I really wish I did. I’ve been wracking my brain for an answer but…’ his words faded away.

‘If they sent Boo,’ I whispered, ‘then they must know that one of us can see him.’

‘Yeah…’ he said, passing me my glass. ‘I thought that.’

‘What if they tell?’

‘They won’t,’ he said confidently.

‘How can you know that? How can you be sure?’

‘Well,’ he said. ‘I think if they wanted to hurt you, they wouldn’t have sent that key to save you.’ He kissed my skin, sending shivers along my spine. ‘Also, there’s something else…’

My brow creased, unease setting in. ‘What is it?’

‘Well… I went down to see Keir before my meeting this morning. You know, to say thank you, for helping Adora find us.’

Oh of course, the letter…

‘Okay,’ I said hesitantly.

His eyebrows furrowed, and his voice became quiet, as if afraid someone would overhear. ‘He never sent a letter to her. He didn’t even know who Adora was.’

‘What?’

‘I don’t know who sent it, but it wasn’t him.’

I thought about how it wasn’t signed by Keir. It was signed, “A friend.”

‘Huh…’ I said, contemplative. ‘Do you think the person who sent the letter is the same person who sent the key?’

‘I do,’ was all he said.

We were quiet for a while, gazing up at the stars through the glass.

‘I was wondering,’ Archer said. ‘Why didn’t Isobella just possess my father and fling herself off the cliff like she did with Rory?’

I choked, shocked by the sudden turn in conversation. ‘Jesus, smooth segue,’ I joked.

He smiled. ‘I’m serious, though.’

‘Well,’ I said, cocking my head, ‘I think you just underestimate a girl's desire for vengeance.’ I laughed. ‘She wanted to hurt them. She wanted revenge for her death. And it’s well earned if you ask me.’

He nodded. ‘Well, I guess I’d better be careful not to wrong you, then.’

I winked. ‘You’d better.’

Laughing, he leaned in and kissed a trail of kisses up my neck. I shuddered in pleasure. I lifted his shirt and traced my fingers over the bare skin of his torso, creeping lower and lower.

He halted my fingers before I reached his pants. ‘Before we go any further, can I just confirm there’s no small, fluffy creatures skulking around? I don’t want Boo present while I do the things I want to do to you. These things aren’t suitable for children.’

I tilted my head back and laughed, a grin spreading wide across my face. ‘He’s not here.’

‘Good,’ he breathed against my ear. ‘Now, are you going to be a good girl and obey?’

Heat flooded through me.

‘Yes, Professor.’
