11. Anna

Anna

Carmela walks toward me in a short summer dress and kitten heels and places a glass of champagne in my hand. “The men, always some business to attend to somewhere. You are used to this, no?”

My own family name is no secret in our world. “Yes, no matter the occasion, the work must go on, especially for the boss. It was like this with my papa too.”

Her dark eyes meet mine and she smiles mischievously. “It is good to know you, Anna, and even better now that you’re a DeLuca.”

“Thank you,” I murmur appreciatively, taking a sip. “This is excellent.”

“Mm-hmm, produced in the DeLuca vineyards in Italy, the finest around.”

“Indeed, it is delicious.”

The other cousins join our side with glasses and small talk but it’s hard to keep my concentration on what they’re saying instead of what’s happening behind Vincenzo’s office door.

The only thing I can imagine pulling him away from this day is either his mom, and that’s not the case or Nicolo would be by his side, or the Gallinis.

My eyes go wide. Unless he’s told Massimo and then all hell is probably breaking loose behind that wall.

Massimo Roselli and Bastian Gallini are probably pissed at Vincenzo right now.

He knows what he’s doing though, and I wasn’t lying when I told him I trust him.

I’ve never felt safer for me, but now I’m afraid for him.

It’s impossible to avoid the feeling of dread that even the thought of Bastian getting ahold of me brings. It’s even harder to envision his fury at Vincenzo and his family for standing in his way and especially for taking me and giving me his last name. Bastian has to know by now.

Revenge of the deepest kind will be in Bastian’s heart, burning like a white-lightening rod until he gets his vengeance.

It’s hard to say what kind of security Vincenzo will have in place now but by the way the guards are placed, and the snipers on the adjacent balconies and rooftops were positioned for the wedding tells me security around here is going to be tighter than it ever has.

Vincenzo walks back into the dining room and his eyes immediately search mine out, drawing me in with that magnetism that makes me wish everyone else would just disappear. He closes the distance between us and draws me close with a hand to my lower back. “You miss me, princessa?”

The cousins giggle, well on their way to being looped up on the bubbly from Italy. I shake my head at their antics and don’t miss the self-assured smirk on my husband’s face. “I missed you very much.”

Ms. Lottie says something to the cousins in Italian and I don’t catch it all, although I’m not that rusty. The dialect is just a little off. “Her dialect is from the north?”

He smiles, clearly surprised at my knowledge of the language. “You never cease to amaze me.” Vincenzo leans down to whisper in my ear as the cousins continue speaking with Ms. Lottie. “I’m still trying to figure out where you put my tie.”

I flush with embarrassment.

His finger tilts my chin, forcing me to look at him. “Tell me, princessa?”

I reach up on tiptoes and whisper in his ear. “It’s folded inside of my panties.”

His eyes register his surprise. He leans down. “Go bring it to me. I want to smell your pussy.”

My eyes close as butterflies dance in my stomach.

I inhale a deep breath, psyching myself up for this little adventure just between the two of us.

I can do this. I want to do this. “If you’ll excuse me,” I say, giving him a kiss on the cheek as I make my way through the dining room and into a bathroom along one of the halls.

I keep the tie folded and use a few minutes to get refreshed before returning to the dining room.

Vincenzo watches me every step of the way, looking at my face, watching the emotions I try to keep from showing but I doubt it’s any use. Papa used to say I’m like an open book.

Everyone knows exactly what I’m thinking before I’ve even said a word. And I’m pretty sure he sees the embarrassment, but probably also the intrigue written all over my face.

He takes the folded tie, presses it against his nostrils, and inhales deeply while my cheeks heat.

“The best smell in all of the world,” he says lowly, placing the tie into his breast pocket in lieu of a handkerchief.

“The scent will keep me satisfied until I can get you alone and into our bedroom.”

Our bedroom. The sound of that and the implication rolls around in my mind. When such a short time ago, I was cordoned into my own bedroom.

It’s almost dinner time by the time our guests have left but the only thing I’m hungry for is the passion I see blazing in my husband’s eyes.

Vincenzo carries me from the dining room into the bedroom and kicks the door closed with the back of his dress shoe.

He kisses me as he crosses the room to his bed, and only once there does he let go of my legs and let me slide down the length of him, but he’s not relinquishing me at all, instead Vincenzo presses me against his body as his hand snakes around the nape of my neck, holding me close, kissing me with such passion that it takes my breath away. “Vincenzo.”

His lips move from mine to my throat, kissing all the way down to that special spot between my neck and shoulder while he unzips the back of my dress, sending goosebumps down my spine before his lips flit against my collarbone, while sliding the straps of my wedding dress down, and letting it float over my hips and pool around my feet on the floor, leaving me only in the lacy panties he picked out especially for me on our wedding day.

His eyes heat with desire as strong as I feel.

“You are the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.

You take my breath away, princessa,” he says, removing his tux while my fingers are already unbuttoning the buttons of his crisp white shirt beneath the tux.

His lips explore, licking and tasting one nipple and then the other as I slowly explore the warmth of his skin, the muscled abs. “Vincenzo.”

He unzips his dress pants and lets them fall to the floor.

My hand sinks lower, knowing exactly what I want and when my hand slides around the velvety smooth rod of steel, Vincenzo groans into my ear, lifts me to bed, and crawls over the top of me.

His arms keep his muscular frame surrounding but not crushing me as he moves from kissing my nipples, nipping them, and kissing my lips.

My hand slides around his cock, in awe of the velvety rod that has been deep inside of me before but never since Vincenzo became my husband.

He shifts me on the bed working his way down my body with red-hot kisses that make my skin tingle, while spreading my feet and positioning them on the footboard.

“Remember the first time I tasted you, princessa?” he asks, watching me intently as his finger slides over my clit and through the wetness down below.

“I do.”

Vincenzo removes his finger from my center and sucks on his digit, watching me from between my legs as he licks it clean, his tongue gathering all of my juices and driving me absolutely insane.

My hips raise, but he keeps them secure with his hands beneath my thighs.

“Tell me that you love this, princessa.”

My hips lift higher. “I love it so much. You know it, Vincenzo. Everything you do, your lips, your mouth, your hands.” My entire body reels with the pleasure that he gives while the waves of desire grow and grow until I’m no longer able to hold back. “I’m right there.”

His hands grip my hips tighter and he sucks hard on my clit causing every wave and pulse of desire to spill over and over again. Only when my body has stopped trembling does he stop, instead of sucking now licking, exploring to taste every bit of cream he’s drawn from my body.

Vincenzo kisses up from my center across my mound and belly as he kneels, rubbing his cock through my wetness before sliding deep inside. My mouth goes slack as he hits the end of me, all the way to that spot that make me delirious with pleasure, before he pulls out and does it again. “Vincenzo.”

That look. I would love for him to do it over and over but all of a sudden, the love, the trust, all that I feel for him and want to give him as a gift comes rushing forward.

I grasp his face with my hands. “You’ve given me so many special gifts today,” I whisper.

“Let me give you something special in return. Something I’ve never given to anyone else and never thought I would give a living soul. ”

His finger strokes my cheek, and he kisses my lips gently. “Tell me. princessa. What gift is it that you want to give me on your wedding night?”

I suck in a deep breath. “I want to give you my trust. Restrain me, with your tie. The one you gave me for our wedding gift. My gift is my complete and utter trust.”
